So I called before going in to see if they had walk in availability. They suggested I scheduled for about an hour from then, so I did. When I got there for my appointment, I had to wait probably 20 mins before being called back. The woman started on my toes, and I had to ask her to clip and shape them, which I thought was weird but every salon is different. Well, it's been a week and now that they grew a bit, I can see they're completely uneven. I also got a gel polish, which resulted in various nail shapes and lengths, no consistency even after specifically asking for square or squoval, some were completely round and others had a sharp edge. On top of that, the polish itself was uneven, and actually looked bubbled up or thick on some of the nails. I know the lady said that polish color didn't go on well, so I let it slide that it looked too thick. Also, painted over some of the cuticles. Within 6 days the edges of my nails were peeling. I get gel polish all the time and it lasts AT LEAST three weeks. This one didn't even last a full week. Waste of money and time. Regular polish (not pedicure) and gel color (no removal prior and no manicure) took over 1.5 hours. Would never ever ever go back. Even if it was free. read more

I've only been here once or twice for an appointment and it was just an ok experience for the price they charge. Few times I have called they didn't have an appointment available, which is absolutely fine. However, the tone of the conversation is ALWAYS rude and disinterested. Walked in to see if I could get a pedicure and sat there for 20+ minutes while every single employee there walked by, looked at me, yet did not acknowledge me whatsoever. Finally a lady asked had I been helped (after walking by me no less than 3 times) When I let her know that I hadn't she finally apologized and checked to see if there was any availability-of course not. My sister and I decided to go and get pedicures together for the first time in our lives Friday evening, after an exhaustive search to find a spa that would allow us to sit together for the service. We selected the Rose Pedicure package and though it was a bit pricey for my usual price range, it was worth EVERY penny. Live rose petals, essential rose oil, wonderfully warm water, a DARN good foot scrub and massage, paraffin dip and topped off by our polish of choice out of what seemed like thousands of beautiful colors (I chose sparkling green in "Apple" by Zoya). I felt like a princess and my feet have never looked or felt better. The entire process lasted nearly an hour. So with the excellence of service, atmosphere, and length of the pedicure the price was a deal! Polished Nail Spa is clean, painted with beautiful colors of muted blue and brown, and there are three pedicure stations (so don't take a LARGE party of friends). The pedicure seats perch high above the foot spa basins, are well stocked with all the great gossip and style magazines, and the seats themselves have built in massage functions (heat and various vibrating). Did I mention if you mess up your tootsies within 7 days they will repaint and repair chips for you, without charge? This is a gem of a nail spa in a seemingly unending sea of overpriced spas and dirty "mall style" nail salons. You won't be disappointed. p.s. We recommend eating at Blue Agave about a mile past Polished Nail Spa afterwards (awesome margaritas, tableside made guacamole, and really great quality service and food). I've been here 7 or 8 times for a pedi. Clean, upscale and modern, and the prices are very reasonable! Plus they have Sunday hours!!!! Their manicure instruments are individually sealed, and opened right in front of you every time. And the three pedi chairs are more like furniture - comfy leather club chairs which sit side by side. I used to get Pedis from different places but once I found this place, I have never gone anywhere else. My pedi lasts for weeks. The staff is awesome and friendly. This is not a "burn and turn" place, meaning they don't try and get through as many people as possible, like other places I have gone to. I prefer it that way. Went in today for a pedicure. It took 10 minutes. How do you get through a pedicure in 10 minutes? No clipping of cuticles, 3 second to scrub my heals and no massage! I looked at the clock when I sat in the chair and saying it took 10 minutes was being nice. AND THE OWNER IS THE ONE WHO SERVICED ME!!! I should of known when I walked in on a Saturday and there is only one person in there. My usually salon on a Saturday has at least 50! I have tried many salons around town to try to find a place who does the "new" gel nails. I was really excited after I read the reviews for Polished. However, I was very dissappointed in my experience and service. I had my nails done a week ago today and they have already came off.This is probably atleast the twelth time having gel nails and they have always lasted atleast 14 days.Although, I knew as soon as I left that day they were not going to last, the product was all over my cuticles and between puitting on each application my tech either walked away or texted while my nails were under the light. Along with being disappointed with wasting $45.00, I was let down by the service. I couldn't tell you my techs name because she did not introduce herself.
