I came to Iekei Ramen & Sushi on a weekday evening. I was hungry while shopping at Walmart in Humble. I ordered Avocado Salad and Garlic Black Bean Ramen. The salad seemed simple but it had refreshing taste from the crispy lettuce and mellow avocado slices. The ramen had a very pleasant presentation and looked appetizing. I could tell the noodles were made fresh. The soup was pork based. The charsiu was a little tough for me. I finished entire bowl of soup and noodles. The location is perfect. There are plenty of parking. The interior is pretty too. I was busy eating and didn't spend time looking around, though.

I realllllllly like this spot! The service is straight to the point (in a good way) yet quick and friendly. The ambiance is nice and casual with a nice clean interior with some cool decorations scattered throughout the restaurant. They also have a big table in the center of the restaurant for parties or just more seating. Onto the food! I love their ramen and I get their tonkotsu with extra egg always. It is very very tasty overall. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because sometimes the pork chasu has been a bit chewy/stringy, but most recently it was perfect for me. I do prefer my broth a bit thicker/richer but it is still very good. I LOVE their Brussel sprouts and get them everytime I go. I'd like to say I'll try some other things next time I go, but I feel I can't go wrong with my go to Tonkotsu ramen + extra egg and brussel sprouts.

It's a thumbs up for me. The food was decent but the customer service needs a little work. Me being new there I needed help with the menu and had to flag someone down I was told by two people that they were busy and which was odd because instead of them helping me, they shoe'd me away. Next time I will try to go because they do have a reasonable price and the sushi was at the top of my list.

Odd staging area by the front door. That's the first thing I saw from the opposite direction

Food: 1. Lunch Chirashi - Fish was fresh but rice feels off -questionable texture and rice was comparably blad from other Japanese Restaurants I have been to 2. Calamari - sliced so thinly and got rubbery, 0 taste I should have ordered a Ramen? /sigh Ambience and design is modern and not bad. They need to store their cleaning suppliers hidden or properly. It is by a side door. As you come in, your greeted by an odd staging area. That is the first thing I saw. I understand efficiencies but it takes away from the design aesthetic. Not sure how I feel about this place.

This place, nice setting, and good food quality. Stay busy, but, good for a date night out. Second time here. Never did dine-in, always carryout when wanting sushi, Japanese from here. Small sushi bar. This is a smaller building compared to your average Japanese spots. It can get wall to wall on busier hours. Front entrance is tight, almost like one man in, and out. Entrance sits near the register front. Had the Shaggy Dog Sushi, my usual. I give them credit, with that spicy but sweet sauce they add on it. Think its Spicy Mayo. Lol. They also have Ramen, but wasn't into Ramen tonight. But wish they had Hibachi to-go. The closest they had was fried rice, with your choice of protein, which I ordered shrimp fried rice. Fried rice not the best around, but better than Panda. Just saying, don't need soy sauce added. No beef here at all though, only pork, shrimp, and chicken, not even steak. But okayyyy. Over all, this place is somewhere around the ball park, when you don't want anything like the speed of Panda Express but don't want to pay for those Shogun's or Benihana's prices. I will rate them a 3 still, for no beef or beef fried rice, steak either, and no Hibachi style for a Japanese spot. OKAYYYY.

I drove by here numerous times and saw this restaurant so many times. I was skeptical bcoz we don't have too many good restaurants in Humble Finally decided to meet up with a friend and was surprised that's it not bad at all. We ordered quite a few sushi rolls on the menu that cost like $6-$$10 but it ended up not cheap The 2 of us ended up paying $100. Either we ate too much or the prices aren't cheap as we thought. We ate mainly sushi and they were all good. Service was also nice.

Really nice sushi and ramen spot by me. I like to go in the middle of the day when it's mostly empty. The servers are really nice. The establishment is set up beautifully as well. It's near Walmart so great place to stop by after a store run!

We have passed this place in several occasions and relieved we have to stop in. First, the ambience was a nice trendy setting reminds you of some of those places you see on TV as far as a ramen shop or not back at sushi shop service was excellent wasn't very crowded. We had about two people waiting on us starting off with the takoyaki I have to admit I really like takoyaki there's was excellent your sauce paired with the mayo was excellent and the movable flakes made it almost like you were sit in a coffee shop in Japan, I also had the colorful sushi dish that you see excellent with real caviar on top, each taste bursting with wasabi and fresh ginger on the side excellent pairing recommend this place for anybody and the price is very economical!

One of the better spots I've visited for ramen. The place has plenty of parking. It is right by Walmart and only about 10-15 minutes from the airport. I went here to meet a friend right before my flight and I was not disappointed. The only reason I put the stars down a bit is that the chicken I got was too hard and cold. Maybe it had been sitting out for a while. But the ramen is what I went for and that was very tasty. We also got hot sake which was a great addition to our little meal. The waiter was attentive and nice, the bathrooms were clean. The over all ambience was a cute place to take good pictures. If you are going to the airport and want a bit to eat I def recommend stopping at this place you will not be disappointed! The edame was also on point! Over all I was very pleased!

The ambience was cool. Small spot. The Ramen was filling and the broth had a good spice level. The Chashu had a strange strange after taste to it. Maybe that's just me. My waiter checked in several times . I did notice when people came in for pick up the other dude behind the counter was a bit impatient. Either way, give this spot a try and let me know if I was trippin on the after taste.

This is me and my bfs Go to sushi place here in Humble. The food are very flavorful and fresh. The appetizer may be small for the price but they're so yummy! My favorite is theirs ninja roll, the flavors and freshness is there. I think it's a pretty clean restaurant with very nice and attentive servers.

The inside is another story. Majority of the menus have worn pages and torn seems. The business smells like onions coming in. One customer was complaining about lukewarm ramen. Decided to go to the facilities and you could tell they haven't addresses the bathrooms in days. I didn't even bother to eat anything. The positive were, we were greeted immediately . No wait to be seated. Good parking.

What a tasty experience we had here as soon as we landed at Bush's IAH. We were hungry and was looking for a great meal. We enjoyed everything we ate. We gave the chicken katsu a try, chicken fried rice, birdie roll, spicy jalapeño roll, chicken ramen , etc. Every single item we had was beyond amazing. If you're craving good ramen or sushi, make a stop here.

Unagi avocado this was the "best".

Yet another disappointing ramen spot in Kingwood/Humble sadly…read more Server took about 10 minutes to greet us and then seemed completely uninterested the entire exchange. Never once refilled our drinks. Food was incredibly mid. I highly suspect they may use packaged ramen noodles. Served with wooden spoons that are falling apart. The restaurant itself is cute; but unfortunately it just wasn't a good experience, especially for the price. They have copycat Jinya recipes, but Jinya definitely does them better.

I've now been to Kami Ramen & Sushi about 5+ times. One of my favorite things about this place is…read morethe interior. It has a lot of cool Japanese style decorations / wall art, and they're usually showing Pokémon on tv! The inside is very pretty / appealing to me, and it had a nice chill vibe. I will take more pictures next time. The service has always been overall solid, but my fiancée and I's favorite waitress is named Jennifer I believe. She's very sweet and attentive. We made it a point to ask her name last time we went(and somehow I'm iffy if I got it right). We were being served by a waiter who honestly was kinda meh, and then Jennifer saw us and greeted us. She then went to tell him to get us water, and I then just asked her if she could tend to us instead. She's great and we will always ask for her anytime we go moving forward. Onto the main subject: the food! I've ordered multiple different items here, but I'll start with the appetizers. I've tried the Brussels sprouts tempura, which were just ok to both my wife and I. It seemed like it was plain unseasoned Brussels sprouts fried lol. We've also had the fried shrimp shumai which was solid to me, but the Mrs said it was too fishy. Ramen: I've had the tonkotsu black (pork) multiple times, the spicy shrimp ramen, the Kami Goyu (sliced NY Strip) and the spicy chicken ramen. I really like all of the broths and noodles, but I feel like the pork, chicken, steak and shrimp proteins could improve. The pork seems really fatty / chewy but not in the way I'm used to. My wife doesn't care for it either. The chicken is like a thinly sliced chicken breast and seemed like it was cooked separately then dumped into the broth last second. The Mrs says it reminds her of a plain Costco chicken. I still ate this more the the pork, and pork is my usual go to. The shrimp was ok to me, and I'm not really sure how I'd describe it but I ate it all. I don't think I'd order the Kami Goyu again as I did not care for the steak, but I did eat it since I don't like wasting food. I think the spicy chicken ramen may be my favorite overall. My absolute favorite thing here though, is the Akuma roll. All I can say is I love it, and I'll be ordering it everytime I go. It is a raw sushi roll. All in all, I know we'll be back! Note: you can try 2 different types of ramen if you order the yin yang ramen, minus their lobster ramen.

I ordered the hot stone mixed rice and it was yummy. I did notice it wasn't as spicy as I am used to so I asked for more of the hot pepper paste. The paste itself is what wasn't super hot but it was still good. Food was also served quickly so I appreciate that. I also ordered a dish to go. The black bean noodles were slightly less flavorful than what we are used to but they were still good. The main drawback though is they did not give any side dishes for the to go item which is interesting. You don't pay less for it and I'm not sure why it wasn't included. I've never had Korean takeout where they did not include any side dishes on a to go order. All in all, the first visit was more a 3.5 but out of good faith, we will call it a 4 star. They did seem to cater to many regulars so it's possible the dishes are toned down for locals? Not sure though. Again, food was good but as someone who is part Korean, the dishes were not as flavorful as I am used to. I would likely eat here again but not sure this would really satisfy the craving for Korean dishes specifically.
