A Caring Vet - Gorgeous bouquet from A Caring Vet's Office after they found out that my dog, Leo had passed away.

    A Caring Vet

I'm on the fence about this place because of a few different reasons…read more My pet got a foxtail stuck in her ear for the second time within a week period. The first time it happened we did an emergency visit to Blue Pearl up North where we had the most awful experience. This appointment with A Caring Vet was scheduled for a next day appointment to where it wasn't considered emergent, it was just like any other appointment. Before I go on let me add that the facilities were well decorated so they didn't feel like some sort of insane asylum or prison like we had felt at Blue Pearl. Although, they did feel very unsanitary. Like the floors hadn't been mopped in quite some time and could use a good deep clean. And the staff was super nice! The appointment came out to $267 after sedation and the removal of the foxtail. Since it wasn't an emergency visit I figured it wouldn't be outrageously expensive compared to our first visit to Blue Pearl, but there was only about a $50 difference. They also said "We get pets in here all the time with the same problem." And I'm wondering to myself, why in the heck the appointment was this appointment so expensive if you they get these kinds of visits so frequently? Lastly, I wasn't a big fan of how they did the sedation on my pet. They kept here there in a kennel until it was her turn for her surgery it was 11am and they said she should be done anywhere in between 2pm-6pm. I asked if it were possible for me to take her and then if they gave me a 10 minutes heads up I could get her back to the facility for her surgery. They said "With the way surgeries are set up she could possibly not be seen today if the surgical team needs to wait for her to get here." I was not a huge fan of being parted with my pet for hours while she was sitting in a kennel when she could have been comfortable at home. If they could implement some other kind of system that would definitely change my 3/5 stars. Pet owners are already paying the facility enough the least they could do is schedule surgeries rather than keep them away from home all day.

Dr Hanson is the most knowledgeable, loving, patient and best veterinarian in Utah County…read more He was the third vet that I found, and kept since I found Dr. Hanson. I have referred him to many of my friends. However, to be perfectly honest, his prices are a bit high. I'm sure he has raised his prices because the cost of inflation although at times I could not bring either my cat or my dog to visit him because of the price of his office visit. I often thought it would be beneficial, if he allowed his old patients to be grandfathered in and allow them to pay what his office visit was five years ago. Nevertheless, he is the absolute best vet and all of Utah county. Sincerely Angi

WORST Company EVER to deal with! I highly reccomend to shop around before having to deal with these…read moreASS CLOWNS! Jessica, Marco, and Rod (the only 3 people you will ever talk to) are all worthless and UN-business oriented! I live in Dallas Texas, ordered a building for Moab Utah, they told me a date to be there, I was there, they called me and said they couldn't make it on that date and it would be another week and a half, I argued and fussed, they didn't care and told me if you don't want it when we schedule you then it will be the middle of January!!! Are you serious??? I traveled 2,000 miles to have the building installed and they treated me like trash! No apologies, no caring conversation, just in one ear and out the other! I decided to stay and wait, they show up with the building for installation and the installer tells me "WE NEED A CERTIFIED CASHIER CHECK" from your bank before we unload it! WTF???? You have my credit information, you charged my card twice already, Im NOT supposed to even pay you till the building is up and inspected, and you NOW TELL ME THIS?? The day you FINALLY SHOW UP???? I say again -- WTF??? What a SCREW JOB Company to deal with.. I told them to get off the property! I was FURIOUS, STEAMING MAD! They make me travel all that way for NOTHING, gas and living expenses down the drain, and 2000 miles of traveling for NOTHING! These people are nothing more then BOILER ROOM SALES PEOPLE, that have their friends and family leave good reviews for them... If you know whats best for you find someone else to deal with because Quality Carports is PURE TRASH! The city Of Moab and Grand County have these guys on their -- DON"T BUY FROM LIST! You've been warned --- STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! This is a REAL Review of someone that got SCREWED by Quality Carports in Utah!

Quality Car Ports, took our money from the finance company in full up front without us knowing,…read morecould not commit to an install date, then kept pushing it out. 1st installers onsite - consumed alcohol on the job, defecated in our yard, took a week to do a two day job. One day of construction was lost due to the installers getting into a personal physical fight in town. The lead installer had to return to town the next day to find his partner so they could complete the job. The day after the construction was completed and installers left the site, we found many holes in the metal roof due to poor workmanship that would cause leaks. The building failed inspection due to multiple issues not related to the roof. 2nd set of installers arrived to fix the issues identified by the County inspector. The lead installer climbed on the roof and identified over half the panels had holes and required replacement. Our current contact was Rod, but the lead installer advised us to contact the President, Marco. We were never able to get a hold of Marco and was actually told we would not be able to speak to him. 3rd set of installers were sent to replace the entire roof. The building is advertised as weather proof. The first storm of the year I entered the metal building to find snow and water inside causing damage to auto body work and equipment We were referred to Quality Carports by a local dealer therefore we assumed they were a valid contractor. After the fact, we learned they are not a licensed contractor in the state of Nevada and should not be doing business here. In addition to not being licensed, they have poor workmanship, customer service, and product. Keep shopping and hopefully this helps others to avoid the same bad decision as we did. Pictures are roof leaks, and weather proof building!
