Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.

Because of that, I had to stop what I was doing, remove all the silicone I had already applied, and make an extra trip to return it. It wasted my time, set my project back, and caused a lot of unnecessary frustration. What disappointed me the most was the customer service. They exchanged the product, but no one apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience, and they didn't offer any kind of compensation for the time and effort I lost because an expired product was still on the shelf. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling like my time didn't matter. Because of that, I won't be coming back.

The service was definitely 5/5! The staff were so friendly, and one offered to help us take photos at the end! Overall, I had a great experience at Wick Lab. However, it is pretty expensive (~$22 for one candle). Going there once to try it out was good enough for me, and I probably won't go back because of the price. FYI, make sure you make a reservation early if you plan to go there. After we picked our scents, we noticed they were out of the cheapest choice (clear candle holders). It'd be nice if they were better prepared with stock, especially if they take reservations like we had. 3. Your experience building your candle will weigh heavily with your chandler that you receive. Ours happened to be pretty blunt and didn't smile much. The couple next to us seemed to have a bit more fun with their friendly and talkative chandler. BUT we had each other so we just made the best of it! 4. One of the gals working literally ate a sandwich in front of everyone behind the candle making counter. It doesn't seem they have a break room but that kinda of killed the vibe and experience. All that said, they really have something going here, I mean it's a great idea and fun little niche. My husband said when he went to pick up our candles the staff was much more lively and friendly so maybe they were just having an off day, who knows. They also had the beautiful hydrangeas lime light trees/shrub that looked beyond healthy which is rare to see at a nursery. Upon arriving, we had a rough start finding the entrance and where to go for parking. The signs are really hard to see at night. And me, with my night time astigmatism, even harder. Lol! You will find Fizz drinks and snacks in a custom built shop made from and antique horse trailer that now glows. And don't forget pumpkins of all sizes and varieties and gourds.
