WORST Company EVER to deal with! I highly reccomend to shop around before having to deal with these ASS CLOWNS! Jessica, Marco, and Rod (the only 3 people you will ever talk to) are all worthless and UN-business oriented! I live in Dallas Texas, ordered a building for Moab Utah, they told me a date to be there, I was there, they called me and said they couldn't make it on that date and it would be another week and a half, I argued and fussed, they didn't care and told me if you don't want it when we schedule you then it will be the middle of January!!! Are you serious??? I traveled 2,000 miles to have the building installed and they treated me like trash! No apologies, no caring conversation, just in one ear and out the other! I decided to stay and wait, they show up with the building for installation and the installer tells me "WE NEED A CERTIFIED CASHIER CHECK" from your bank before we unload it! WTF???? You have my credit information, you charged my card twice already, Im NOT supposed to even pay you till the building is up and inspected, and you NOW TELL ME THIS?? The day you FINALLY SHOW UP???? I say again -- WTF??? What a SCREW JOB Company to deal with.. I told them to get off the property! I was FURIOUS, STEAMING MAD! They make me travel all that way for NOTHING, gas and living expenses down the drain, and 2000 miles of traveling for NOTHING! These people are nothing more then BOILER ROOM SALES PEOPLE, that have their friends and family leave good reviews for them... If you know whats best for you find someone else to deal with because Quality Carports is PURE TRASH! The city Of Moab and Grand County have these guys on their -- DON"T BUY FROM LIST! Quality Car Ports, took our money from the finance company in full up front without us knowing, could not commit to an install date, then kept pushing it out. 1st installers onsite - consumed alcohol on the job, defecated in our yard, took a week to do a two day job. One day of construction was lost due to the installers getting into a personal physical fight in town. The lead installer had to return to town the next day to find his partner so they could complete the job. The day after the construction was completed and installers left the site, we found many holes in the metal roof due to poor workmanship that would cause leaks. The building failed inspection due to multiple issues not related to the roof. 2nd set of installers arrived to fix the issues identified by the County inspector. The lead installer climbed on the roof and identified over half the panels had holes and required replacement. Our current contact was Rod, but the lead installer advised us to contact the President, Marco. We were never able to get a hold of Marco and was actually told we would not be able to speak to him. 3rd set of installers were sent to replace the entire roof. The building is advertised as weather proof. The first storm of the year I entered the metal building to find snow and water inside causing damage to auto body work and equipment We were referred to Quality Carports by a local dealer therefore we assumed they were a valid contractor. After the fact, we learned they are not a licensed contractor in the state of Nevada and should not be doing business here. In addition to not being licensed, they have poor workmanship, customer service, and product. Keep shopping and hopefully this helps others to avoid the same bad decision as we did. We ordered and paid a "non refundable" deposit on a carport in August. The contract stated 4-6 weeks for delivery and install. I've had 3 separate install dates. Beginning of Oct. that got bumped to Nov. 11 -14. On the 13th was told oops is the 17th-22nd. Ok.. THEN Friday at 3 they call and say now this week is no good and they can't give me a install date. I gave them a bad FB review. Owner called and demanded I remove it. He offered to give back my deposit if I would remove the review. I said when I get my $ back. He hung up on me. He is now claiming I cancelled my order and will not give back my deposit!!! read more

I have been on the phone with Jessica of this company and she can't give me any info on my building. They have given me 3 different dates and they have not been able to deliver as of today. 10/5/20 I am now waiting for a call back from someone who is at the business, yet I can't talk to him....and they are going to give me a NEW date at the end of the day....BEWARE.....this company is nothing but a scam..... read more

Difficult Company to deal with! Great prices, but scheduling and communication not so good. Jessica and Marco were the people I talked to several times. They make a lot of excuses and after setting, dates/times for install expect a call telling you it changed again, other than that not good at returning calls. I got multiple calls just to tell me they change the install again. They don't give a dam about disruptions to your life and schedule or what additional cost you incur because of their constant changes. I ordered the carport from Ashton Parker at Below Retail Liquidators/ mancavestructures.com for their part it was okay but did have some bumps. At least they would call you back. The install crew saved this review, they were outstanding. They showed up got to work and I was impressed by the speed and quality of their work. Very pleasant crew. read more

Working with Quality Carports has been horrible. I understand in 2020, manufacturing is behind due to the country shutting down. However, Jessica, one of their schedulers made a HUGE mistake, and now my clients and I are paying the price. Jessica completely lied to me, and inatead of owning up to it, she called me on my day off to bring the lie to light. She needs to be fired. I better get a refund of some kind for this. read more

I was so excited to get this going as my husband and I run a boxing gym so I found this company and placed my deposit in April. BIG MISTAKE!!! It's been a nightmare ever since! Trying to get a response from them and all I get is just EXCUSES!! I got my permit in June because it was delayed due to their incompetent engineers putting the wrong building codes which I had to pay to rectify. On June 1, 2020 I emailed the owner on when I would be placed on their schedule for installation and it took till June 19 for them to say we are working on a schedule for you. 3 months later yes 3 months later I get a email from Rod saying your priority and we have you on the schedule for the end of September beginning of October. At this time I can just hope for the best as I asked for a refund on my deposit and they finally got me on a schedule. I received a call from Tania who advised me we are looking at the last week of September so I placed a call to her yesterday and was told you must have missed understood me "your on the schedule for the 3rd week of October." We are currently leasing space for are gym so once again I have to pay for another delay. I am now going on 4 months since I was told we are working on a schedule for you and when I do finally get on it I'm told I miss understood her. The best response I get for my delay from Rod is this.. Hello Lauren, We'll do our very best not to move the schedule, as it is you're currently scheduled for the week of Oct. 5-9 and I think they're anticipating yet another delay because as we're keeping track of the installers they're running into issues during construction and thus they're letting you know about the possible delays which is all we can possibly do as the delays are out of our control, we completely understand your frustration and applaud how you run your business, we deeply apologize beforehand for any issues that we may have caused you, we will reach out to you once we have a set date, we appreciate you. My permit is about to expire. I'm now 4 months out since trying to get on there schedule and 6 months out since I placed a deposit with the uncertainty of knowing if I even am going to get my building. This has been the hardest most frustrating project of my life. We own several rental properties and wanted covered parking. we got a quote from Quality carports and gave them 8500 dollars to begin the project. This was in November. In try to get a building permit we ran into many problems. I did not know what the city wanted so I was at the mercy if Quality to get Plans and then 5 weeks later the city wants snow loads so I have to go to Quality for that 3 weeks later we get that and submit. then 3 weeks later the city wants footing plan. Because quality didn't know what the city requires it added 3500 dollars to the cost and 900 for engineering plans as well as two change orders. Snow load and footing. I tried to cancel the project because I could not get anything to work. Quality said they would deal with the city. I wish they would have stepped in 7 months sooner. They should know what cities are going to require. finally we did get a permit and the job went to fabrication. Quality will not install the project until they have been paid in full which takes any motivation for them to do a good job away. After the building was up they busted a bunch of sprinklers. after another beg and plead to have them fix them so we can get the water back on the lawn they fixed where the spikes had punctured the line. how ever moving the heads so the sprinklers would hit the lawn and not the frame I was told was not part of the contract. I had twice talked to the office people about the sprinklers and both times I was told no extra ground work on the work order. They dont care about customer satisfaction. The only thing they care about is hiding behind there contract. They know exactly what ground work needs to be done to get these buildings done but they choose to try to defraud the customer by acting ignorant of what happened.Funny story they told me the sprinkler guy went over there but could not find the valve box. What sprinkler service outfit doesn't know how to find a valve box or timer? I have two more installs needed done but I will go without before I go back to Quality carports. These guys are a joke and if you go into there office there is all kinds of praise on the wall to Marco and Rod. Its all BS folks. read more

Price Gougers! I got a quote for a 24x30x9 steel building from Stateline Metal Structures who is an authorized dealer for Quality Carports, Inc AKA "Quality Steel Buildings" AKA "High Quality Carports". When I went to purchase it, it was almost $2000 more than the original estimate. I was told sorry prices are subject to change. Still in my budget ($7000) so I authorize it and take advantage of their financing. I get an email from a loan company saying "Congratulations you've been approved for $10,000 loan!" WTF? Who took out a $10,000 loan in my name! Some company named "Quality Carports Inc." No one at SMS told me they went through QCI. When I got a hold of QCI Rod C (won't tell us his last name), says we always over estimate. Ok, THEN I find out they've charged $1500.00 "Loan origination fee" WTH - I'm now in a pickle and need the building so I bite the bullet. No communication with these people whatsoever. I needed drawings for my permit and was told by the dealer they were $490. Then COVID happened and we were put on hold. I had to call and ask when the building is going to be delivered and finally got a "date range". Then one Sunday morning without warning, no phone call, no email, no text a "barely" english speaking crew of 3 showed up with the building at 8:00 am. The building went up in a day but I still need the permit so I"m calling and emailing. Quality Carports FINALLY sends me an invoice for the drawings I need (my building dept is very understanding) and it's going to be $1075.25!!!!! for ONE DRAWING! WTF??? I call and speak to Jessica who is a dimwit who won't tell me her supervisors name, or the owners name and puts me on hold for a half hour (hoping I'll hang up I'm sure) and I finally get Rod C. Argue with him about the $490 v $1075 difference. He gives me a song and dance about how THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR DEALERS DEALS OR PROMISES. Basically take it or leave it. He won't tell me who the engineering company is, are they licensed in my state, only that they are in Ohio. Since the dealer has not responded to my requests in over a month and I need the plans (and they know it) I agree to pay it but tell Rod I'm not happy and I will be telling people about my experience! OH and it's going to be another $50-$100 for shipping!!!! BUT when Rod hears I'm going to tell people about my BAD experience he says "I've changed my mind" - he now REFUSES TO SELL ME THE DRAWINGS I NEED FOR MY PERMIT!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS! DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. We paid a "non-refundable" deposit for a shed for 4 to 6 week delivery. Then got charged an additional $400+ to get a set of plans to get our building permit. Our delivery went from August, to September, to October, to the first of November, to the middle of November to 3 different dates in December. Our shed finally arrived late in the day on Wednesday, Dec 16. They started set-up, left and came back the next day. It snowed horribly that day, so the installation crew left and said they would be back on Saturday or Sunday . . . no one showed. We called and got the run around, after several phone calls and almost 2 weeks later our shed was finally installed. There was no notification from Quality Carports about delays, we only found out when we would call to check status. This company is unprofessional, unresponsive and unreliable. Shop somewhere else! Absolutely the worst business we have ever dealt with and don't expect your business consultant/seller to help you once the non-refundable deposit is paid!!!! read more

Do not use these people at all!!!!I would be glad to let you know just how I was treated with such disrespect and after they built my horse barn to totally the wrong specifications they refused to do anything about it! They built the openings for the horses 3 times the size that they were supposed to be. Horrible company please go with someone else if you want a horse barn built. read more
