I went to get new phone yesterday.(August 6, 2021) The way walking out from Apple store i saw iFix Here shop. I stopped by asking the man. " How much screen protection for iPhoneXR, Then he said $25. I said OK let's do that. I noticed that he was having dinner(salad roll). Then I said I can come back about 15 minutes! He said it's OK. Then I'll put my brand new phone on the top of the display case. He opened the phone box so hard :( And he said why they put iPhone XR in iPhone 12 box. Then I said really? I tried to not talk to him so much, because his mouth smells Marijuana so strong, Stinky The way he said He tried to make me buy charger, USB cable and Phone case. I did not say anything much, i was tried from work. And I don't like when sellers are talking or try to sale me thighs. Because when I want to buy some thing I always buy because I wanted, not because someone telling me to buy! Then he put the first screen protection on. it was terrible. So many bubble and looked very bad. He knew that he did a bad job, Then he said if you're not happy with that. I will try the second screen protection on. Then he said it's going to be the same one that he did at first.Because he wiped the phone screen with Alcohol. And I did not say anything. He did the second one a little bit better than the first one. After that he told me my total is 26.36 Then I'm said OK. After that I gave him my credit card He asked me to singed. Then I just threw the receipt in the bag. I did not check on the receipt. before I walked out from his shop. In the afternoon(August 7, 2021) i went to my Chase credit card account, it was surprise when I saw the total on the receipt not $26.34 like he said BUT $31.36 then I went to check on the receipt again. I fix it is a scam! Would NOT recommend. Communication and customer service was horrendous. Went in for a cracked screen replacement. We were told the price would be $119 and when we said never mind the employee started pulling out the paperwork anyway. We said no thank you and he just sighed and said "how much would you pay?" We told him $80 and he said "how about $85?" We told him ok. Before we were done filling out the paperwork he was taking the pen away and telling us to sign. We did and he said come back in a half hour We came back and he was FaceTiming a friend and he told us that it would be $185. Then fought with us about it. Telling us he wrote the amount down after we signed. How scummy is that?! When asked if we could talk to someone else he got annoyed and said "it's not like they'll change the price. They'll just say the same thing as me" They knocked the price down to $150, but we left feeling lied to and upset. Absolutely appalled. read more

Monday, I got an estimate from them in which they told me to stop by anytime to get my shattered screen replaced. I drove half an hour to their location in south Portland around 12:00pm today, paid to park and walk to the store only to find that the store appeared open with all the lights on but the doors were locked. I overpaid for a third party screen that did not properly fit my phone. Do not make the mistake of doing business with this company.

I was on vaca and my iphone stopped charging. Went to the apple store in the same mall and of course it was one month out of warranty. So went to iFixHere in the same mall. They were super nice and fixed it promptly everything good - the problem is the new charging port charged super slow. Like 10 hours to fully charge (not exaggerating). So I had to get it fixed again and pay again - now it charges in a normal time span. The guy in the westwood shop said they probably used cheap knock-off parts. read more

Buyer beware. It might be worth a new screen at iFix, it might not. My iPhone's screen broke, and someone at Verizon suggested I look into stores that do screen replacements, in order to save a little money. I took my phone to the iFix at Maine Mall. The new screen looked great. I even purchased a screen protector from them, so it ended up being $100+- Didn't end up being worth it, because my phone broke the next day and I made use of the screen a total of 3 days. My phone shut down for no apparent reason, then got stuck in a reboot loop. Totally unresponsive. I had to wait for the batteries to deplete before the phone would reboot. This happened twice. The Apple store took a look at it and did a diagnostic. There was a problem with the ambient light sensor, and a hardware problem. My phone had given me no problems until the day after that screen repair. The tech said some of these stores that offer screen repair don't ground the phone and aren't required to. And she'd seen it herself. I took this to mean there might have been damage done by electricity while the phone was being repaired. My iPhone wasn't technically covered by the warranty, but I was fortunate in that the store manager extended the warranty a few days. Otherwise I would have had to pay $270 to replace the phone. The ambient light sensor on the front of the phone was no longer working, btw, because it wasn't compatible with the new screen. I didn't know how to take the response from iFix when I talked to them. They were required to see the phone and screen to give me my money back. The employees there didn't seem particularly interested to go above and beyond to help me out. They obviously didn't take me seriously. When I told them what the Apple tech said, they said "that's a new one", implying Apple put the blame on them. I didn't get even a shred of hope talking to the manager would do any good, so I just ate the $100. Pick your battles, right? I couldn't get the "proof" required for a refund, because I got the phone replaced in Virginia and by that point the phone was scrapped anyway. I had the Apple store work order and receipt, and iFix receipt. Not enough for iFix to do anything. In summary, it' a cheaper option to get the screen replaced there, but keep in mind they know nothing about your phone. And you might end up paying not only the cost of a new screen, but hundreds for a new phone. Not worth it in my opinion. read more

These guys saved my iPhone! I came to them with the cracked screen on my phone, which according to Apple service was impossible to repair. But the guys from iFixHere replaced it in no time. The price was very good, the service was amazing and the staff was so amicable! They also have a huge variety of cases and I couldn't leave without buying one. Now my phone looks like new. iFixHere at the Maine Mall was great! The staff helped me to save all of my info on my Samsung S5 phone. They let me borrow a new battery since the power port on the phone was damaged and would not accept the power cord to charge it. I was able to Bluetooth all of the information to my new phone at AT&T next door. Had they not helped me I would have been out a phone for several days waiting for a battery on-line. The staff was friendly and willing to do what I needed. I would definitely give them my business for kindly helping me. read more

This place is THE WORST place to get your iPhone fixed. I came in for a regular iPhone fix and they completely ruined my iPhone 6. The home button is not working. My Touch ID worked before I went to them and they said that they couldn't do anything about it. AND they didn't refund me my $150. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service the young people working in the kiosk near the food court have no idea what they are doing. THE DUMB BITCH WITH THE ACCENT IS RUDE. iPhone 5s had a broken and unresponsive screen. The staff was very nice and the service was quick. It didn't take long to notice that the replacement screen was a slight tick down in performance compared to the original and I have heard they use third party screens which might account for that. But overall very happy and the phone works great! read more

Absolutely don't go here... I had my cracked iPhone 5c replaced here and they charged me 94$ for it. Not even a week later my screen stops responded to my touch. There was a small crack under the screen because some pressure that was applied to my screen. First of all, my old screen had many cracks but never stopped working. Because of their cheap third party screens makes them vulnerable to anything that happens to them unlike Apple screens. I tired to get it fixed because it was still under the 90 day warranty but they said no because of the smallest crack under the screen. No one should ever go here. DO NOT GO HERE!! Extremely poor customer service. About 6 months ago I brought my cracked iPhone 6 to "I fix here" to repair my screen. I ended up paying $140 for a (third party) replacement screen. (I was completely unaware apple replaces screens for $110). Cut back to present day and my phone's screen is starting to separate from the back of the phone. After talking to some people at the Apple Store, I was told there was nothing they could do since the screen is not their product. So I returned to the original "I fix here" kiosk I had taken my phone to six months ago. Incredibly long story short, I was sent back and forth between their kiosk and main store in the mall 4 times, and talked to three different employees. They told me the phone required more glue to seal the phone back together, and they could "help me out" by only charging me $20. I'm sorry, but I already paid a premium of $140 and received a below average quality product. So I'm I supposed to pay $20 every six months just to glue my "expensive" screen back into place?
