Be warned--- other reviews are very accurate- I had an iPad repaired here and 3 months later it failed-- it was just a screen replacement, but multiple plating, screws and re-installation was not done correctly. Took my iPhone X to replace the cracked screen on the front and back and when I got it back, the Face ID stopped working and the digitizer that they put on the iPhone had frequent jumps like someone continually pushing the top of the screen. Took it to apple and the Face ID component was damaged and it would cost 549 to replace. so I had to get another phone. They did give me half of my money back but I would not take a newer version of an iPhone to this place. Nice employee though read more

If you are black do not attempt to come to this store!! When I walked into the store the guy didn't even look up, he kept on working and then said "hold on a minute" and continued working on a phone. I then asked him if he repaired iPad and he proceeded to say he did but when I told him the problem, he said he could not fix it. I insisted politely that he should at least try to a diagnosis and he said ok. I went and bought a new charger from Walmart and come back, again he didn't even try to look up and then a few minutes later he took my iPad. I told there for about 10 minutes, not even sure what he was doing with the iPad and then walked in this white lady, the man quickly stood up, stopped what he was doing and welcomed her to the store asking her what he could do for her, I just stood there in disbelieve, comparing the way he treated me when I initially came to the store! After he was done talking to her, he started working on her phone immediately, I just decided I have had enough! I asked him politely to hand me back my iPad and told him I could get better service elsewhere and left. I will never go back to this store read more

Took my iPhone X to replace the cracked screen on the front. 3 days later the screen went completely blank and was unusable. When I went back to the store to addresses the issue, I was told the phone must have been dropped and the screen was cracked again; therefore, not falling under the warranty. I explained there was NO crack anywhere on the screen and the phone was NOT dropped, but the employee was unwilling to even consider that iFix could have done anything wrong. I took the phone to Apple and they confirmed there was no crack in the screen and that during the first repair, the LCD screen was damaged and began bleeding through (which they did indicate can happen when replacing a screen). There was no consideration from iFixandRepair to stand behind their work or consider anything other than user error. Their non-response only validated my entire experience with them. I strongly recommend NOT using this company. read more

I was skeptical about this place at first with the reviews but I went in and took a chance. I paided $286 for a replacement screen for an IPhone 12 Pro Max. It didn't take long (an hour) to get it fix but the results for it weren't as bad as all the reviews said. The only downside to it was the screen is a bit smaller then it was originally but it works as just as it did when I first got it. read more

STAY AWAY. GO TO CPR DOWN THE STREET. TRUST ME. BETTER SCREENS. Held off for a while from writing this review due to ifixit initially trying to get me a refund. In September 2020, I needed my iPhone XS MAX screen repaired. Came in. Job was done quick. Noticed the screen was dark, nothing remotely close to the original. Colors were terrible. Clearly a cheap knock off screen. So I requested my money back but after a few minutes of trying to redeem the sale, Abdul (manager) said if I paid $50 more, he'll get me a top notch screen. So I gave them another chance. At this point I'm in $250 plus tax. Came back the next day and the "higher quality" screen was a bump better than the $199 option he had. Still the same dark screen. Ugly colors. Slow response. Too much contrast. As a professional thats sole job is to mess with colors all day I could see the difference NIGHT AND DAY from the original iPhone screen. So I asked for my money back again. They said the bank had to refund it to me. Took myself down the street to CPR were I paid the same price but the screen was the closest to what the original is. Bright. Accurate colors. Responsive and quick. I would say 2-3x better quality than the screen I had received at IFIXIT. At this point I'm in $520 on screen repairs thinking I was getting my money back soon from IFIXIT. This is where the nightmare started. For MONTHS I tried going back and forth with my bank and theirs. Initially Abdul (manager) was the one handling the entire situation. At this point in August 2021 there's no more communication with Abdul or his employees trying to help get the message to Abdul so action can be taken. His employees always say "call next week" or something similar to that. Just wasting my time. After almost a YEAR later I have yet to get my $270 back and miraculously nobody is trying to help me anymore. As a customer this should be the BUSINESS LOSS, not a customers loss. Their poor refund policy should updated. Instead of having customers WASTE their time trying to fix their refund issue. Only response I've gotten is "it's your banks fault, call them" but Ive wasted HOURS on the phone with the bank and they said it's IFIXITs end. Once I get my $270 refund I will update this Google review gladly. Till that day happens I'll make sure to make sure everyone I know to stay away from this place. My next step is to report ifixit to the BBB if I don't get my money back within the next 30 days. read more

I bought a Groupon for screen repair on my iPhone 8 Plus -- saved me about $40 compared to the other repair shops in the area and $60 over Apple's price. I dropped it off when I came into Walmart and it was repaired and ready to go by the time I finished my grocery shopping. The guy was super nice and my phone is as good as new. read more

I took my laptop to them to be repaired because it had a broken screen. I had to keep calling them to check up on the laptop because they would never call me or text with an update. When I called, they never answered the phone and I would have to wait on a call back. They told me up front that it would take one week to be repaired however it took two weeks. I picked up the laptop and noticed dead pixels and scuff marks on the new replaced screen. I brought this to their attention and they said they would replace it again. I left them my laptop for the second time and again had to keep calling to check up on the status. They kept my laptop for another two weeks. I stopped by to check up on the laptop and was told they were unable to find a replacement and my laptop would not be fix (they even told me that they would have to get a used replacement from China if I wanted my screen to get fixed). They refunded the labor charge but I still have a scuff up screen. I requested a call back from management to discuss why I never receive a call telling me that they were unable to fix my laptop. I never receive a call. I do not recommend using this company. read more
