I walked in around 6 PM (Verizon/Village at Allen) on June 9, 2026, wanting to purchase a Zagg screen protector and get it installed (I have a neuropathy-type condition that makes me unable to perform tasks like that). The store was not busy. Employee greeted me and asked what I wanted. I said, "I need to buy a screen protector and would you install it?" I was ready to spend $60 (+tax) and was willing to wait for someone to help. VERY FIRST THING the employee did was ask what happened to my old screen protector. "It broke," I said. "Did you contact Zagg and order a warranty replacement?" "No," I answered, "I just want to buy one. I don't want to wait for the warranty process." "You need to go to Zagg here at Village at Allen and they'll help you." "No, I just came from there. I just want to buy one." "YEAH, BUT, if you go there, you won't have to spend $60." It continued like this for ~5 minutes with the employee cutting me off, not actually taking a moment to find out why I was there and what I wanted. It was apparent the employee was not going to help me. After more back-and-forth and feeling frustrated, I left. At the end of the day, no one here helped me. It was just about the worst in-person customer service experience I've had in a long time. read more

I had a problem with an online order. I went into the store very unhappy an hour before closing and they couldn't match my deal but asked me to come back the next day. I came back the next day, took a couple of hours but they got me an even better deal. Even though their hands were tied with the deals, they found a way to make it work. Special thanks to AJ and Prescott (I think that was his name), such a polite gentleman. There were other team members there who also jumped in to help but didn't get their names. Verizon - Mobile Phones Near Me - Allen, Texas

I relocated to Allen, TX in July 2022 and decided to use Verizon as my carrier. I opted for the family plan as we had unlocked units and just need four lines. The customer service rep. offered us a $500.00 rebate for each line as an incentive. We proceeded with the transaction. I asked repeatedly at least three times what was needed to redeem the rebate. We were told all we need to do is simply, "wait 30-45 days for processing." I called in late September and was told that my opportunity to redeem my rebate expired. I was so angry and visited the store in Allen where I activated my account. I was told that it was my fault for not "reading the fine print as it states I have 30 days to redeem." The manager was very cavalier and rude, I was chastised for not reading the fine print. This manager did absolutely nothing to address this lapse in service and said that we had to wait an additional 7-10 days for the rebate department to decide to reinstate the rebate. My request for reinstatement was denied. I recommend to all prospective customers to be very careful in dealing with Verizon at Allen. They don't care about customer service and in my opinion only care about sales quotas. I decided to close my accounts and went with T Mobil where I'm appreciated and respected. Also, their service is more reliable and the customer service is outstanding. read more

Well, I guess it's easy to give five stars to a place that fixed your problem when two other places couldn't. I was having activation issues with my new phone (it's a long story), and the folks here at this Verizon store were able to fix it in about 5 minutes. The store itself is nice inside, if a little small, but it offers everything you'd want in a phone store: plenty of display models, professional service and quick checkout. If there's a downside at all, it's not their fault: the usual access problems for all tenants in the Village at Allen shopping center. read more

There is a special place in heaven for people that look after seniors. Tony (a manager at the Allen location) has been helping my 89 year old father and it touches my heart the way he deals with him. So kind, so patient, very honest and helpful. Tony went above and beyond to make sure my father was comfortable with his new phone and accessories. These reviews must be fake. I went into this store to return a defective phone to which I was supposed to receive a return label with my replacement phone, which I had to pay for and will not be refunded until the defective phone is received. Well, I didn't get a shipping label, so I contacted Verizon customer service and they said they'd send it again. 1.5 weeks later, I still didn't get it. So I called the Lewisville Verizon store to see if I can just bring it to the store for a refund, to which they said yes. I didn't get a chance to take it to that store, and unfortunately, ended up taking it to this horrible Allen store. Long story short, this entire company does not honor their promises, even if it's another representative's mistake. The store manager is condescending and rude. The representative here that helped me is clueless. After 15 minutes of fiddling around and being unable to locate my order number in the system even though I provided it for him, he disappears for another 10 minutes. After that, I decided to leave and not bother with them. I am thankful that I have since moved away from Verizon to another carrier. read more

I would love to say I had a great experience but I can't. Marvin Robertson was my salesperson on April 25th. I renewed 3 phones and opened up one new line. They had a "Buy one, Get one FREE" on the Samsung S7 so went for it. I believe Sprint had the iPhone BOGO on too but since I had already been with Verizon for 10 years you figure to stay loyal. WRONG. I was told very specifically that I would recieved a Visa gift card in the mail in 8-10 weeks. Well, I went back to the Allen location after about 12 weeks to find out where my rebate card was. Marvin apparently hadn't done the rebate correctly so none was issued. I stayed at the location close to 2 hours and not once did, Angela nor Tony come out to help out. They didn't even acknowledge me. The guy trying to help me was getting angry and I even told him to relax. I just assumed it would all work out. I agreed and have followed through with my part, I just thought Verizon would do the same. WRONG. They offered me half. Hmm...I signed up because of the buy one, get one FREE deal. No. What really got me was Marvin played stupid and said get couldn't remember any of this and then tried to tell me it was my fault. Lonnie did his best to help but in the end, they gave me copies of my receipts and told me to take care of it. Seriously? These guys are representing Verizon. I did nothing wrong. I just want my gift card. I've spoken to Justin in CS. Eileen in Samsung rebate, Derek via text and John via chat. I've done everything asked of me and still nothing. So pissed. Store manager Nick and Sales Rep Kurtis were extremely helpful in getting us 4 new phones with no headaches. They helped us through the entire purchase and even installed cases on all phones. I waited over an hour to speak with someone. When I finally did I was given incorrect information. My account was charged $380 (which apparently is standard should you return a phone under warranty if it has any damage) btw, Verizon sent me a picture of the "damage" after I demanded to know why I was being charged, and the "crack" is so miniscule (clearly not visible to the naked eye) they had to magnify the image several times, you couldn't even tell what you were looking at- You could see the individual pixels on the screen then they drew an arrow to point out the damage. That's how "damaged" this phone was. What a joke. When they say no damage, they mean your phone must look exactly how it did out of the box. But that's not what pissed me off. The clerk didn't even warn me of the possibility of having to pay these charges for returning a "damaged" phone should they have missed something. I would have just bought a new one! The fees of returning the phone cost more than the phone itself! I spoke with customer service and they said the only way I might get these charges taken off is if I spoke with the store manager himself. So I did, instead of apologizing for missing the crack or his failure to communicate the possible charges, I got, "I don't know what you did with the phone after you left my store and before you sent it in, if you damaged the phone you have to pay those charges." The staff give nothing but short responses and refer you to fellow associates when they dont want to handle your issue and once you think "Finally, someone can help," that associate is clueless. Their time management and interpersonal skills are lacking. I had a simple fix that shouldn't of taken more than 15 mins to resolve but noone wanted to deal with the issue and kept referring me to "the apple store" even though Apple told me it was my provider who could handle it.. I did get my issue resolved at a different location with no issues. Never returning to this location. read more

I recently changed my data plan online to unlimited and for some internal reason it didn't register despite giving me a confirmation. A few weeks later I get a text saying I'm over my data limit. I go into this store and the general manager, Brenda, listens to me complain and makes several long calls fighting for me to have a refund. After hours of the manager helping it was all resolved. Managers are supposed to lead as an example of customer service; sadly not the case here. At store #9726781815 don't expect consideration from their manager, Uriah Morrow. The other customer service representative even seemed embarrassed at her behavior. She provided a pathway to escalation rather than resolution. I'd recommend doing your business with Verizon at any other store if you can. She was rude, childish and unreasonable. Both Lonnie and Jose were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and quick to ensure my wife and I were taken care of quickly...even though they were pretty busy due to the iPhone 7 release. We upgraded both of our phones to an iPhone 7, and Jose even put our screen protectors on for us...if you have ever done this, you know how much of a pain in the butt it can be. I went in because of a common issue with my iPhone screen not turning on. Because the phone was only nine months old I expected them to process a warranty claim. Before they did process the claim they made it a point to inspect the phone and point out any flaws that could have my account charged. My phone is in near perfect condition and I finally told them that I did not want to be lectured and just wanted the warranty processed. The customer service representative then went behind the desk with attitude and told me I was good and could go. I requested some sort of receipt of processing so that I could be reassured a new phone was on the way. He told me he could not give me anything because they have no receipt for warranty processing. I then asked for a manager. The manager proceeded to analyze my phone under a microscope too and began his attempt at pointing out any flaws that might void my warranty. I explained to him that I was again not interested in a lecture and just wanted to process the warranty claim. The manager then processed my claim and showed me on the screen. I again asked for a receipt and they told me that I could not have one. That they already bypassed the screen. I am more than disappointed in their customer service. I did not go in there for them to analyze my phone. I wanted them to process a warranty claim and move on. I did not need to be lectured or treated with disrespect because this phone is in perfect condition. If there was to be an issue with the warranty then that needed to be handled through the warranty department. I felt that instead of processes my warranty they were trying to find blame with me and encourage me to spend hundreds of dollars on a new phone. I had to involved my husband and I am strongly encouraging my husband to seek service elsewhere. If I had not asked to speak with a manager I might not have even seen the screen that a claim was being processed. I still do not have any tangible documentation after speaking with the manager that the claim has been processes. My husband is having to take time out of his busy work day to call customer service and verify that our warranty claim is being processed. read more

I went in a few days after our 10 day purchase time was up and they were gracious enough to let me return the phones and cancel my contract to my face but now Verizon is calling me over and over telling me I owe tehn $900 dollars for the contract THEY LET ME OUT OF.
