I told Katrina that my husband was on the fence about whether to repair or replace, and she didn't push doing the repair but did warn us to be careful. Covid19 has caused all businesses to make adjustments , their hours are different than posted on here, but they clearly state them on their recording when you call. My iPhone battery was dying. Luckily, my nephew suggested I try a local shop instead of the daunting task of going to an Apple store. I am SO glad I did. The young lady popped in a new battery and noticed my operating system was very old (original, in fact!) I couldn't update it myself because my MacBook was too old. She did it for me and now it feels like I bought a new phone. She even showed me how I need to close out apps (double click home button and swipe up) I never knew to do that. Very fast but probably a little too fast!! Sons phone fixed (new screen) and left for Christmas vacation. Screens loose from installation defect and called and was told to bring it in. By the time we got back the screen was cracked where wires attach and brought phone in, said there was user damage so I offered to BUY a new screen if she would cover labor and refused. After I posted a 2 star review on local sites had the lynch mob with pitch forks and torches called out berating me to remove the review, which after that she did text my wife saying she would fix it for 100 dollars but was too late. My wife's phone got worked on at the same time and screen was actually loose after install on that one to, just didn't feel like getting my kids made fun of for posting a review. She does ok work but not great. Check your equipment before u leave really closely. She's not careful and the local mob will try and get you if you complain. read more
