I already had past issues with the shop when I went in February to get a laptop screen replaced because they damaged my laptop cover with the screwdriver which left a permeant carving. I tried disputing it with my credit card but the merchant lied saying I never contacted them back about the issue. Even though I emailed 2 separate times, called like 4 which one of the calls lasted 10 minutes of me trying to get a refund, and went to the shop 2 separate occasions. I did not immediately approach them right away, I had class after the pick up because I am a college student. I also didn't re-contact my bank back because it is too much effect, I had midterms during then, and if they need the money so badly they can keep it. Now it is July 18 and the cheap replacement they gave me has a fat yellow tint looking like a long vertical line on the left side of my screen. This 100% due to a hardward issue, and now I cannot reach out about the issue because the shop is dishonest, and disingenuous. If you want your laptop worse off come here, if not take the extra money to a different shop with actual integrity. read more

Back in late April, when I was about to go to bed, a sudden shutdown happened in front of me. The next day, it turned out that my battery life went out of control last night. Indeed, I tried to make the blinking stop by unplugging the charger and then plugging it back in. After that, it was still blinking and never stopped. I asked my uncle to help me fix the problem by unscrewing the bottom layer of the laptop and see if the battery was OK or not. Enough with my experiences at home. As requested, my uncle decided to hire my stepmother to help me fix my MacBook before it's too late. At the beginning of May, the day had come to send my device to the iFixForU shop where only 2 boys were working. My stepmother asked one of the workers to see if they wouldn't mind fixing my device. But instead, they accused me of ruining my device by adding one last sentence "nobody's gonna help you", which sounded like my life is already over. I'm sorry, but that treatment they gave me was unfair and unacceptable, and I have never trusted that smile the worker had; it's humiliating. Having had enough, I can tell that their service didn't do me a favor, so I had no choice but to send my MacBook to Di-No Computers in the following month. Since I vowed never to visit that shop again, the technicians working for iFixForU get 2 choices: Improve their treatment or get fired. Came here from Tmobile because they said a prepaid plan would be cheaper with Ultra. We bought the unlimited data plan for 3 months and they recommended paying cash to avoid fees. We did so, and asked for a receipt but he stating he didn't need to provide one and to return for any issues. When we left we realized that the data doesn't work at all. We returned to the shop, wanting a refund but the worker refused stating that it is impossible. He then proceeded to attempt to connect the SIM card on different phones for the next hour. He had to call the help line multiple times. He used our phone to link the account with his email and wifi without asking us. We gave him one hour to figure it out and when he couldn't we again asked for a refund. He kept saying that a refund is impossible and proceeded to raise his voice at us. He finally got a esim card instead but we did not want to use it. He continued to argue with us until we couldn't do anything but follow him. I would not recommend this store to anyone. I came in to get my iPhone XS fix because it keeps turning on and off by itself. The apple logo keeps looping. I was able to turn off my phone by hard resetting it, but the phone won't turn on. I took it in, they told me it will take 1 hour to diagnose the problem and it's for free to do this. So, exactly 1 hour... I was notified and they told me what the problem was and how it can be fix. So when I walked in the store for my water damaged iPad, I was immediately greet by Doug. He was very honest (well at that time) on the time it needed to get it up and gave me an ETA. I made me feel good not because I could replace the iPad but I have a lot of data and customization in the iPad that is very time consuming if I have to do everything over again... He promised that he would let me know either yes or no to pick my iPad the next day. The next day went by, no call. So I went to this location to get my screens fixed on 4/8 for my s8+. Back and front screens needed to be replaced.When I arrived, they gave me a different price, but later they realized the quote was a mistake but willing to honor the price. Which I appreciate. Now a week later, I had to go back because the glue on the back screen was not adhering to the unit and affecting performance of the phone. They offer 2 months repair, except for screen damage. Go to this store if you want your original phone parts get stolen! I visited this store for my IPhone X battery replacement. They not only sell you used battery which can't be detected by your iPhone diagnosis system but I also found they stolen my original iPhone screen and swapped it with a OEM one from China. I found out as I sent my iPhone to the Apple Store a week later and the technician there told me any original screen has Apple bar code and mine is obviously gone after the battery replacement.
