I fly is very fun it is a little hard to breathe but it's fine. The instructors are very kind and fun. Don't there up just relax.

This is a try it once and never again type place. The flight time is literally just 1 minute. They also charge you an additional $20 to go a bit higher in the wind tunnel. Which seems like that should be included in the $99 charge. Want pictures? That will be another $4 for each. The place is also stating to look rundown - they don't seem to invest in maintenance or upkeep. Glad we went to try it, but won't go back. read more

My friends took me to ifly today and it seriously was the best birthday gift ever! This place is so fun! They have indoor sky diving down to a science! My friends purchased a group package online! It included 2 flys each and photos & videos. A couple of us added on the high fly! Totally worth it! These packages offer more for your money at a lower price point plus you get a front row seat to watching each person enjoy the experience! Once you are signed up everyone will fill out online forms and waivers prior to arrival! Each person is also sent a preflight video to watch to learn hand signals. This information is reviewed several times once onsite as well! There are a lot of health restriction's. A big one to note is that if you've ever dislocated your shoulder this is not for you! The first two times I fly my shoulder was fine but after the third time I could really feel the pressure! What to expect: Upon arrival we checked everything out! So many fun photo opportunities including angel wings and a step & repeat! We loved to taking photos there and the staff was so accommodating about leaving time before and after for photos! Everyone will need to get weighed in so be honest on your waiver! You are weighed individually but the weight is concealed for privacy! There are set weight limits so check to see if you are within the range. There are no exceptions! Once you get your wrist band you move on to get your fly suit and helmet. I used the helmet with the face covering and I highly recommend this option! This avoided the wind hitting me directly in the face and allowed me to focus on the experience mates of just the wind! There were about 10 of us in our class. Each person got to fly twice! We rooted and cheered for everyone as they went up and out of the tube! Watching people you care about experience this up close was really such a fun experience! Being together doing this crazy thing was so fun! Our instructor Sam was amazing! Honestly all of the employees were so kind and willing to do whatever they could to make this a memorable experience including flashing me a happy birthday message while I was in the tunnel flying! Sam made us all feel comfortable and she was so good at what she does! At the end of everyone's flights she did an amazing show of her skills in the tunnel! She's got some serious talent and she and the rest of the crew really love what they do! Their enthusiasm is contagious and really added so much value to the experience! My only constructive feedback is that it would have been cool to have a camera in the tunnel to capture the high fly. You really go off screen alone you start getting higher. It also would have been cool to have someone video from outside of the tunnel so bring friends to watch and record! One last suggestion...bring cash to tip your instructor! I was glad I had cash on me! You can not add this to your credit card payment and they do not have cash to break bills. I can not recommend this experience enough! What a super experience!! We took my girlfriend out for her birthday who's always wanted to do this. We had so much fun. It was 6 of us and we are all over 50 and loved every minute. It's great and there's no maximum age. The staff is so friendly and they try to make sure you have a fun experience and they succeeded. Sam was fantastic and really made you feel safe. There are always packages with deals, so I recommend you grabbing some friends and heading on down. Our package came with photos and videos. It was a fun time by all. The facility was nice and clean. The flight time is sufficient and long enough. Everything was well organized, we were with another group for a total of 11 of us. Our session was at 11am and we were heading to our car at 12:15pm. Our instructor was kind enough to take photos of us, which was so nice. It was friendly and a nice vibe. Great evening out with friends. A tip, ask for the helmet with the visor, not the one that requires goggles. read more

Fun experience for all ages with only an upper end weight restriction. Cody was a solid instructor and the kids had a great time. High flights are a must do upgrade to get the full experience. Be warned it can be difficult to breathe in the wind tunnel and especially on high flights. Hard to tell with the smiling kiddos but apparently it was not easy. Great customer service and follow up from main office on booked reservation time. It is a pricey experience for just a few minutes of flight so expect that and it's the only reason for knocking a star off. Show by instructor at the end was fun to watch and see what could be achieved and the certificates handed out were a nice touch to complete the experience. read more

it is very expensive for only 2 minutes of "fly time" at a lower height. if you want to pay even more money you can go up "high" for a few seconds, not worth the money. The light also starts flashing at 12 seconds left in your experience and they quickly rush you towards the door so you lose some of your fly time depending how close you are to the door. read more

Not the experience I thought it would be. They two minute experience is really less than that as they start to take you out of the chamber at least 10 seconds before your times run out. To make it even worthwhile you have to purchase the higher experience for another $20. Its hard to get used to at first, so you waste time getting used to it and not getting the full experience. The instructors are great and its interesting to watch them do their demo. Overall, they need to be a little more lenient with the time before they throw you out. I am not asking for another 1 min, but at least keep it going the full 2 minuets. Try to find a package to make it worthwhile and remember the upsells when you get there like addition time, higher flights etc. Whatever you spend, you will spend more when your there. Plan on at least $40 per person to make it worthwhile. read more

We won a four flight voucher at a school fundraiser as part of a Yes Day basket for a family of four to use and had made the appointment online for all four of us to go and redeemed the four flight voucher. I did the waivers for all of us online, paid extra for the high flight for all four of us, and then when we got there, we were told by staff and the manager that the four flight voucher was for one person only. He said he couldn't split the four flights in any way, so we ended up having to pay an additional $80 and that was just so that our boys could fly (my wife and I would have to watch or pay more). We ended up paying just for the boys to fly, so the experience ended up costing us $160 between the two flights for the boys and the extra cost for the high flight add on. The flights themselves were a minute each. Our dog passed away unexpectedly two days ago and we drove over an hour to King of Prussia to try and give them a nice day of slime (the other part of the package) and then family skydiving to take their (and our) mind off the sadness we experienced the last few days. The whole experience ended up being extremely frustrating. I feel like they should have made it clear when they donated that the four flights were only for one person and that they couldn't be split for four people to each fly. We even let them know about our dog passing and asked if they could please understand and they wouldn't budge. Would not recommend. Awful customer service. Fail. -------- As a follow up to this, after reaching out to corporate via messenger, the on site manager came out and provided us with a 10 flight voucher that can be shared among our four family members to be used for a future date. Ok..starting 2020 with a super cool Review! Let's be clear...everyone has shared the 'Good; Bad and some Ugly' associated with participating in the iFly experience! I'll say that mine was soooooo much fun! I wanted to start the year off with a new experience that would push me out of my comfort zone--so I ended up on iFly and I was glad I did! I found a few besties that couldn't tell me 'no' because it was my birthday request! From the start to the finish of my experience with iFly..I encountered helpful staff to assist me through the reservation to finishing out my (2) two flights with the last flight offering the 'high flying' ending! I was unsure about the waiver process and my reservation-when I called about my inquires--I was given great assistance and arriving on site -the great customer service continued! The actual flight experience is much harder than it looks..but is is a fun experience! My suggestion--be sure to bring a friend who isn't participating to take pictures and videos for you do you won't be subjected to to 'overpriced' up selling of pictures and videos! For me--I felt it was good..but remember relax and have fun..don't get in your head..just listen to the instructor! My first time!! One word EXHILARATING!! My family made reservations a few weeks ago. I was so exited to try this and maybe a little nervous too. When you get there, you check in and pretty much sign your life away, ha ha ha! It's a few waivers really. They do weigh you but it's very discreet, you just hop on so they know how much wind you'll need. Afterwards you go into a small training room to watch a video. The instructors teach you the hand signals that they'll use in the tunnel so you are in the proper position. It's pretty simple, chin up, elbows slightly bent at your head level, legs with a slight bend and by all means RELAX! Our instructor Dave told us that when he gives you a hand signal adapt slowly because small changes make a big impact in the wind tunnel. The instructor shows a simple video, asks if you have questions and then you suit up with a flight suit, goggles & a helmet. We did two 60 minute flights and with our package we were able to get 5 videos included. I highly recommend it! It's a rush and your instructor will make you feel safe and secure. It's a lot of fun and an experience I'll never forget! read more

I went to iFLY for my birthday courtesy of my significant other. I had a great time and I think my experience has me ready for the real thing... one day lol. My man on the other hand said he had fun but would never fly again. He didn't pay attention to the training portion and complained of lower back pain post our flight and even days after haha. It's not an activity that I would've chosen myself but we went as a work team building event. I don't like heights or rollercoasters so I was a little nervous but it was not scary at all. The first flight was a little disorienting and lower back hurt afterwards. I liked that they had the video playback afterwards on a tv in the waiting bench area. Everyone seemed to have fun. Awful experience and customer service. Scheduled two flights for April 1st. My wife and ai bought a house that day so we had to reschedule. Spoke with an employee Jarret there and he moved the reservation to April 8th at 1:30. I called again on Wednesday and spoke with Jarret and Ashley to confirm the reservation. When we arrived they said our reservation was on April 15th. They never sent a confirmation email for the reschedule and admitted it was a scheduling mistake but could not offer a refund. OMG!! This was an amazin' experience. We have wanted to try this for a while. It is not convenient for us to get to being that we live on Long Island. But fortunately my daughter resides in Philly and a trip to visit her makes the ride all worthwhile. We decided to celebrate my sons birthday and a few other adventures this day. IFLY being our first stop of the day. As we are checking in we took a peek of others taking flight in the chamber. It was unbelievable!!! We couldn't wait for our turn to get in there. The absolute best time I've had in quiet a while. I enjoy trying new things so this place was an added bonus for me! I came here on my birthday...I walked in, was greeted and told to fill out the waiver form. After that, I was told to stand on this surface in the corner. I didn't know what it was at first, but later figured out it was a scale. It was actually kinda cool because it was discrete-it wasn't an obvious scale. I was then told happy birthday and they gave me a voucher for a free picture! Double awesomeness!! I was already told ahead of time that I would be there fo r about two hours. I sat and looked at the other flyers as they took their turn. After each flyer went twice, the instructors would then go in and show off their skills. Our instructor came out to get us and take us to the room where we received our instructions as well as watch an instructional video. The instructor tells you about the hand signals he is going to use in order to communicate with you while you're in the vertical wind tunnel. The hand signals are also discussed in the video, and they're posted on the wall. The instructor explains how even the smallest movement could make a big difference when in the wind tunnel, and boy was he right! The instructor took is to where the lockers were-which are complimentary btw-and we put our belongings in them. We then went to get our gear and put our gear on. If you want to do the high flight you can either pay the extra ten dollars ahead of time, or you could wait until right before you go into the wind tunnel. Note that you only do the high flight during your second turn only. You also get a certificate upon completion!! I do wish that they let people know online when you make the purchase that you are only paying for shoulder length flight, as indoor skydiving is not cheap. Overall, I had an epic time and I am so thankful for the experience. I will be back again, hopefully I'll be brave enough to fly higher! read more

We arrived for our reservation 30 minutes before, as they requested in the phone call the day before only to be informed they were running 45 minutes behind schedule. Spending over an hour waiting ruined the experience. It's a fun thing to do but someone else had to leave without doing it because they didn't have enough time for the delay. read more

My mother purchased the two flight package and did not know that the flights are consecutive or couldn't be divided between two kids. Fine, we paid for the next kid at the desk though it's a hefty price that was unexpected. We chose to get just one high flight between the two flights. We go in and watch the people before us flying. One woman had her entire helmet fly off her head. Her flight stopped immediately and she got out, crying. They apparently calmed her down because she went on another (third) flight with a different helmet. As my children came out to get ready to fly, I noticed they have different helmets than everyone else in their group as well as the group that we were watching, that went before them. The one my kids had on protected the head but lacked the windscreen and had a much smaller adjustable chinstrap. It looks like a bicycle helmet. The others had a windscreen and the helmet looks more like a boxing helmet. I inquired about the headgear to the instructors and was informed both that "there is no differences in the safety between the two helmets" AND that the helmet they had on would simply mean "more wind in their face" AND that the helmet everyone else had on was "an upgrade". They asked me to pay extra money (the price changed at different times in the conversation) to get the second flight, which apparently "upgraded" my kids into the helmet that everyone else had on. My kids were already in their suits and ready to go so I asked if my kids could have the helmets everyone else had on but could the operator that makes the high flights be verbally told not to give them that second forbidden high flight. I asked if there was some other way to denote that my children were not to be given this high flight OTHER than having a different helmet than everyone else. I was told no by all instructors and the manager (Kim). The only way my children were to have the same helmets as everyone else is to either purchase the luxury of wearing this helmet (I believe it was $50) or by purchasing this second high flight. Money is not an issue for me (we did spend $100 more than expected in the first place). However, it is utterly insipid to be told that people will be getting different helmets based upon their package and there is no other way to denote who is to be given a high flight or not. Especially after watching a woman have a helmet-related accident. ETA they comped us the helmet "upgrade" and have said we can come back anytime to get our flight, since I walked out. I'm going to pass. Imagine having different helmets based on price... in a sky diving place! Crazy. read more

IFLY MAKES YOU SIGN AN IMMORAL CONTRACT. I went to iFly with my family this weekend. I was excited about the experience as were my three boys, and I was looking forward to sharing the experience with them. My wife had already paid and signed the waiver ahead of time for her and the boys. I was required to do it upon arriving. Now, as a business owner of more than 20 years, I read all contracts. At iFly, you can't do it unless you agree to EVERYTHING in their contract. As we know, when consumers agree to company's contracts, the consumer basically abrogates ALL of their rights. I knew that if I got hurt, iFly wouldn't be responsible, and I was ok with that. What I was expecting was how immoral the marketing provisions are in their contact. What you don't know unless you read it is that iFly video's EVERY flight. Probably for liability safety, and I was ok with that. HOWEVER, in agreeing to be filmed, you also grant iFly a perpetual, global, royalty free, uncompensated license to use your name, face, image, etc., in WHATEVER format they want in ALL marketing materials they chose WITHOUT informing you! Basically, for the 2minutes that you in the tube, they own your image and name for whatever purpose they want, and they don't even tell you. When I asked the manager, he said "no we don't do that." Really, why is it in the contract? "Well we can't change the contract, that's just legal." Well, maybe, but legal can do whatever they want with my image. I asked if they had the contract on paper, and he said yes. SO I said "great, let's just cross out the portion in that paragraph that gives you right to exploit my image with no compensation." "Oh, i can't do that." I told him to call his regional manager, and he refused. So, clearly iFly wants things on their terms or not at all. And they're ok with unfairly exploiting their customers, without compensation, for their own marketing purposes. Not a very moral company. Needless to say, I will never go there again, nor will I allow my family to do so. read more

First timer here....seriously, you NEED to try this! So much fun! Others have explained in detail how things go down so I won't over bore you. There is a weight limit and they weigh you when you walk in the door and register, but no worries, as others say, it's very discreet. After you are registered for your time slot you walk into a room and see exactly what you are going to be doing. Yes, you will have an audience....lol. But so what -- this is too much fun to pass up! Awesome instructors...make sure to leave them a tip at the end. Great for all ages...watched a 4 year old girl do it and the instructor was awesome with her and she loved it. Just pay attention to the hand signals that they teach you before your flight (not many to learn, common sense) and relax!! The extra $10 to fly high up into the tunnel with the instructor is a must try! And they give you the opportunity to buy more "fly time" for another visit at discounted prices. I had been wanting to do this and received it as a Christmas gift from my daughter and her boyfriend. The 3 of us scheduled our appointments a few weeks ahead (a must do if you want to go on a weekend). They tell you to arrive 1 hour ahead of your scheduled appointment time, which was more than enough time to check in, do the flight training, and get geared up. Our 3:30 flight time started a little late (at 3:58), so you should plan to spend about 2 hours total. It was fun to watch the other flyers in the tunnel while waiting for our flight. At the end of each session, the flight instructor goes in on his/her own and shows off their advanced skills and fancy maneuvers....very cool! Upon arrival, there are 7 or 8 kiosks for check in and a couple of people behind the desk who verify your appointment, accept payment and issue the wrist bands after check in on the kiosk is completed. The flight instructor located and introduced himself to all of those in the flight group prior to the flight training. When it was time to enter the preflight training room, he called everyone in. We watched a 5 minute video with instructions on how to position your body and hand signals that the flight instructor would use if he/she needed to communicate with you. After the video, the instructor reviewed the hand signals with us and gave us a few more tips on what to do (and what not to do!). I looked like there was a practice table in the training room but we didn't use it, nor was it mentioned. Then we received our suits, eye masks, and helmets and waited for the previous group to finish their flight session. Each person took turns doing their first 2 minute flight and then we all went again for the second 2 minute flight. If you choose the $10 option to go up higher than shoulder height with the instructor, this is done during the second flight. (They will offer this to you upon checking in). Videos and still photos are taken of your flight, which are available for purchase afterwards. We had a great time! Everything was well organized and the staff was professional. It is good for groups and would make a fun outing or birthday party. I would not recommend this for anyone who has neck, back or shoulder problems. The only thing that I didn't like was that the wind was so strong that I found it was almost hard to breathe. When I was done I had that feeling as if I had been swimming and got water up my nose, lol. I wished I had a full face mask to block some of that wind from going up my nose! read more

My Family and I came to PA to celebrate my sons 11th birthday, iFLY was beyond an amazing for both children and adults ! Similar to what other reviewers have said... though I feel like it's wrong to only give 3 stars based on how my expectations were not met (rather than the actual quality of the experience), my husband and I both left iFly feeling like we had spent $200 for 6 minutes total of "flying time." Well I suppose we felt that way because it's exactly what happened. For those who are interested in real sky diving, it may be worth it to just pay a little more (I think it's around $350 for two people for a tandem jump in this area?) and get the actual experience falling out of a plane for a minute and a half. I'm not sure how much energy/electricity is used to generate enough power to blow the huge gusts of wind up from underneath you in order to simulate flying, but I'm not sure if it's even close to $200 for 6 minutes. I could be wrong. Our instructor Emmanuel was warm and energetic but we felt that he was holding on to us too much, rather than giving us the experience of taking control on our own to get the hang of "flying" by using our hands to steer, etc. We got this photo for an extra $4.95 and seeing as I'm not going to frame this or post it anywhere, at least a few of you on Yelp can see for yourselves whether or not it's worth 5 bucks to get a digital photo. read more

Fantastic experience! Took my brother here for part of his bachelor party and it was a huge hit! The place is very organized and clean. Well trained staff who are very friendly and helpful! Booking the event was incredible smooth. I booked it and paid online, and received a phone call the day of the event from a very friendly and helpful employee (Miah) who gave me options to help our group get the most out of our visit. Miah was a GREAT first impression of iFLY! She was top notch and got us going right away! Our flight instructor (Tim) was awesome! Did a great job explaining everything and made the event really fun!
