My family had been to their location in Queens, New York before, and it was nice to see the consistent quality of service that they had at this location. Everyone had to start out with a brief training to make sure we were on the same page with the safety guidelines. Mike was fantastic as our instructor, even making our youngest kid in our party with sensory issues feel safe! He even suggested rubber ear plugs instead of the foam ones, since they were smaller and would secure a little bit more comfortably mid-flight. Once we got going, he guided us through a number of different skydiving techniques, including turning, lifting ourselves up, and controlling ourselves to lower back down. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. In fact, it made me and my family want to do indoor skydiving again for additional training!

We were told we would receive them via email, 20 minutes after the experience and 5 days later, we had not. After numerous calls and a negative post, we received a call and our photos. The feeling is BLISSFUL. This is free fall and all you can do is appreciate this minute in a state of pure joy. It's awesome!!! If there's anything skydiving does, it opens up your world and makes you consider the possibilities. Skydiving is so much more than an adventure. For many, it's a life-changing experience! So above was my experience, now coming to this establishment (Sky is the limit) As it was COVID time, they check your temperature, make you sign 10 pages waivers ( including COVID one), you pay the amount at their counter (which has no shade). Then you wait for your instructor to call your name and then you wear the gears. On their website and also when I called they said, the jump would be from 13000 feet height. I was under the impression it would be 40-50 seconds of free fall following by 4-5 minutes of para-gliding. Lots of people mentioned the same in the review as well. But sadly, it was not the case with me. Was I disappointed after landing? Yes, feeling of free fall, rushing to earth 120 Miles/hr, all is okay but it was ended in 3 minutes. Freefall was hardly 20-25 seconds and 3 minutes of paragliding. The weather was good, it was not windy or cloudy. I don't care they took me to 2 seater plane which took 30+ minutes to reach an altitude of 10000 feet. All I wanted was, what they claim or promise, my 50 secs of free fall and 4-5 min of gliding. I Paid 225+95 (Video) for this and the whole experience was very short. I feel like cheated. When I further researched, got to know, people who are Groupon customers, they get a service like this (short height jump- short time duration). My 2 star is only for a short duration of the whole experience. The service was good, my instructor was good. No issues in that. Coming to photos and videos, they were not satisfactory. 5/10 on that.

I had the…read moreutter privilege of jumping with none other than the legendary "Pancake", who very nonchalantly told me that he has made more than 20,000 such iconic falls! This was my first attempt and I think it was good for a height-phobic person like me to not have the option of standing on a separate ledge and deliberately jump. In the plane here, you kind of just tip over the edge, and that has to be initiated (thankfully) by your tandem instructor. Those 60 seconds of free falling were the longest of my life, I couldn't wait for the parachute to open. My heart was in my throat, I was wriggling like a cockroach, and I couldn't breathe because of the air pressure assaulting my face. CAUTION TO THOSE WITH PELVIC PAIN: as soon as the parachute opens, the pelvic harness tightens up considerably as you're basically vertical, being completely supported by the harness. You're "hanging by a thread (aka harness)". Think about how that would affect you during and after the activity, since I was in pain hanging vertically in the air. It made it tough to enjoy the slow gliding in such a beautiful weather. Pancake advised that I try and reposition myself so as to almost sit within the harness but I couldn't manage that. The staff is nothing but incredible, they ensure as much safety as possible, and the environment is so Hollywood-y with these sporty gals and guys preparing to jump one after the other from the plane. You can't help but feel the thrill of being surrounded by adventurers. I would like the option of a face shield and/or helmet for tandem jumpers like us so we can enjoy that free fall sensation without struggling to breathe. Also the videography package is worth it!

When you first arrive you have to do a waiver and get weighed (can't fly over 300 lbs, and maybe can't fly if b/w 260 and 300. This is where the most annoying parts of the visit was for me. There are bunch of touchscreens in the check in area, and they could just have you go there and check in. But instead you have to scan a QR code on your phone and do it online. Makes no sense, especially since you have to watch a safety video, which you are now doing on a tiny phone, and there are about 5 others walking around you doing the same. Once you check in you get a wristband and go upstairs. Once upstairs there are lockers to store your stuff. Then you get a jumpsuit, goggles and helmet and they guide you through fitting the helmet. Then you meet your "guide" for the session, and he/she brings you into another room, where the second annoying thing happens. You watch the SAME safety video again. Then the guide goes through it again in person. Frankly, the guide's in-person spiel was the best and they could have ditched the other 2. Once you get in it's a great time. The key is to RELAX. If you are tense, it is a lot harder to get stable, and if you're not stable you will waste some of your precious 90 seconds of flight time while the guide tries to stabilize you. The last downside, it is PRICEY. Groups can get discounts and party packages, but it's never cheap. Definitely a once-in-a-while thing unless you have a lot of disposable income. Would I go back? Definitely, but only once in a while and ready to drop some serious $$.

My friends purchased a group package online! It included 2 flys each and photos & videos. A couple of us added on the high fly! Totally worth it! These packages offer more for your money at a lower price point plus you get a front row seat to watching each person enjoy the experience! Once you are signed up everyone will fill out online forms and waivers prior to arrival! Each person is also sent a preflight video to watch to learn hand signals. This information is reviewed several times once onsite as well! There are a lot of health restriction's. A big one to note is that if you've ever dislocated your shoulder this is not for you! The first two times I fly my shoulder was fine but after the third time I could really feel the pressure! What to expect: Upon arrival we checked everything out! So many fun photo opportunities including angel wings and a step & repeat! We loved to taking photos there and the staff was so accommodating about leaving time before and after for photos! Everyone will need to get weighed in so be honest on your waiver! You are weighed individually but the weight is concealed for privacy! There are set weight limits so check to see if you are within the range. There are no exceptions! Once you get your wrist band you move on to get your fly suit and helmet. I used the helmet with the face covering and I highly recommend this option! This avoided the wind hitting me directly in the face and allowed me to focus on the experience mates of just the wind! There were about 10 of us in our class. Each person got to fly twice! We rooted and cheered for everyone as they went up and out of the tube! Watching people you care about experience this up close was really such a fun experience! Being together doing this crazy thing was so fun! Our instructor Sam was amazing! Honestly all of the employees were so kind and willing to do whatever they could to make this a memorable experience including flashing me a happy birthday message while I was in the tunnel flying! Sam made us all feel comfortable and she was so good at what she does! At the end of everyone's flights she did an amazing show of her skills in the tunnel! She's got some serious talent and she and the rest of the crew really love what they do! Their enthusiasm is contagious and really added so much value to the experience! My only constructive feedback is that it would have been cool to have a camera in the tunnel to capture the high fly. You really go off screen alone you start getting higher. It also would have been cool to have someone video from outside of the tunnel so bring friends to watch and record! One last suggestion...bring cash to tip your instructor! I was glad I had cash on me! You can not add this to your credit card payment and they do not have cash to break bills. I can not recommend this experience enough! This was something that all of us will remember for a very long time! Thank you iFly for making this birthday experience something so very unique and special!

Which seems like that should be included in the $99 charge. Want pictures? That will be another $4 for each.
