This came up on my social media ads and I bought two as stocking stuffers for my kids. I bought the bronze package (basic one) and after reading reviews, was a bit nervous that there would be extra fees. There weren't any! Just an option if you wanted a more challenging experience. It's so clean, well organized and the process is so well thought out. There were literally zero hiccups. Water filling station, clean gender neutral washrooms, and plenty of seating provided. This experience was so positive! The instructor was clear, friendly and knowledgeable. Very patient and just awesome! There were mostly kids there, and he was able to keep everyone's attention, keep them calm while still having a great time. The rest of the staff were also amazing! I'm talking from the front desk person to the person cleaning up. You'd think that a 1 minute flight is short, but it's actually just right. It allows you enough time to get the experience without it being too physically demanding. The formula of two, one minute flights is perfect. The second one is smoother, because you know what to expect. Definitely, try this! read more

To celebrate our wedding anniversary we went to ifly for our first (indoor) sky diving experience. What a thrill! The location was east to find with plenty or parking. The staff was super friendly and ready to answer any questions. Recommend that you book online ahead of time and take the time to watch the training video. Derek our instructor was extremely skilled and helped me, who was nervous, relax. He was always smiling and willing to go the extra mile to make yoir experience memorable . We will definitely be going back and will work our way through the levels. This place is a little pricy, with a la carte packages, including flight add one so get ready to spend at least $100 each person. but The experience was well worth it! read more

I got the Silver package for my wife's birthday as she had always wanted to experience what it was like to skydive but would never think of jumping out of a plane. We just did it today and the experience MORE than met our expectations. The entire process was easy and comfortable. Derek was our instructor and he was fabulous. My wife was little nervous at the beginning but Derek made her feel completely comfortable. We did two 1-minute flights each, plus a 3rd flight with a VR headset to simulate skydiving off a mountain - it was breathtaking. Not only did we get to experience what it was like skydiving, Derek also put on a little show at the end, demonstrating impressive and incredible acrobatics in the skydive chamber. I have always wanted to try it out and we went for my birthday, what an awesome and incredible experience too. Lorenzo was our instructor and trainer and he showed us all of the hand signals and made sure we knew everything we needed to know. We did 3-3 minute flights, once with the instructor taking us up, which was the coolest feeling. The first was fun and I floated well. I tensed up more on the second and third time because I kept thinking about my form too much. I was quite nervous the first time but wasn't the second and third time since I was better prepared. Looking at the photos of the session only resulted in one photo of each of us where we didn't look so awful and like a chipmunk free falling. It was tons of fun and I would do it again. It was $72/pp for 2-1 minute flight, $10/pp if you wanted the instructor to take us up 3 times and an additional $30/pp for a 3rd single minute with the instructor to take us up. I was happy to hear an iFly would be opening up in Novi in Michigan in 6 months or so. Will be checking that out for sure. read more

This is an amazing experience! I definitely didn't think that much about it before now but can't wait to go back. Our coach/guide Kate was so amazing and she has to be because she's keeping up with an all male coaching staff! She was cool, calm and so much fun! My kids (10 and 12) received iFLY vouchers for Christmas. They were thrilled. When you arrive a waiver is completed and a strong sales pitch to buy a photo package ($15 each child) was done. I was assured the photos would be much better than those I could take myself outside the chamber (even shown examples of what to expect). **Red Flag** I should have questioned why I needed to pay for this package BEFORE seeing the photos. More on that later. I was sold a fly to top experience at an additional cost of $10 each. I truly cannot believe I was charged this additional amount AND it occurred during the 1 minute flight time. I would understand the additional cost if it added time and experience to the flight. An unjustified cash grab. We were all sent to a room to watch a 6-8 minute video on the flight experience. This video is the only training provided. When seeing the kids fly (literally 1 minute for each flight) I could see that all the children flying that day (total of 5) were having a great deal of trouble flying since the training (remember that video I mentioned earlier) was incredibly INADEQUATE. Attention iFLY: more training outside of the chamber would have GREATLY improved the flying experience. There are very specific ways to hold your head, arms, hands, and feet that need to be well-understood before going into the chamber for any chance of flying. In summary, my kids flew in the chamber largely being held/carried by the instructor for 1 minute and I received a link to blurry pictures of my children (sometime just their feet or side views) all for the ridiculous price of about $200!! I reached out to iFLY 3x to express my dissatisfaction and a request for the photo package to be refunded given that the pictures were not better than those I took outside the chamber. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that they have chosen to ignore me and to make this right. read more

UPDATED to 4 stars (read way below) I was given the IFLY Toronto skydiving intro as a gift (3 flights in the session) the first time around and enjoyed it. That would have been the end of it, but... I was misled by Adrian (who no longer works for them) into purchasing the ever-present end of session sales pitch of buying more flights "and the next time you'll be taken to the top". During the second set of three flights I went to, Sebastian was the certified instructor.  I was put in a group with all beginners, but he promised to teach me some tricks and take me to the top. Well, he didn't and after swinging around several 7-10 year olds, said his shoulder was hurting him.  So I again I was conned into buying the ever present 6 flight sales pitch option after again being told that I could be taken to the top for sure on the next session.  I bought it hoping that I would not be scammed. However, I have been calling IFLY to arrange for a certified instructor (I realize now that there are not many) who will be able to make my experience less underwhelming, and I've had no luck. So I sent an email to IFLY on Nov 27th 2016 to help with my issue. Nathalie from Customer Service responded and said that "flying with the flyers are at the discretion of the instructor and/or iFLY Toronto". They are unable to guarantee anything. So the instructors and their end of session sales pitches are basically lying. They tell you that you will be taken to the top next time around and learn new tricks, but it's all an effort to get your money, because later on customer service can tell you it's not guaranteed. IFLY says it does not give refunds, but I can't even transfer my $115 to someone else unless they have bought the $72 intro package first. This place is a joke, and unless you're willing to shell out some serious money to learn the fine art of skydiving in a wind tunnel, I implore you to just leave it alone after the first intro package. UPDATE Dec 2 2016: Dawn another customer service rep has agreed to set up a date next week for the experience I am looking for. I'll report back with an update afterwards. UPDATE Dec 8 2016: Finally taken to the top by a very capable Lorenzo. An exhilarating experience. All the adults and kids in our group who Lorenzo thought were relaxed enough were also taken to the top and it was their FIRST TIME out at iFLY. This is an amazing experience that everyone should try! Get your feet off the ground and run over here! Now..it is pricey..but definitely worth it! Was here last week and had a blast! If you have never been skydiving, don't worry - they tell you what to do. There is an orientation class where they teach you hand symbols for the different positions you will need once inside the wind chamber. An instructor goes inside the chamber with you and basically ensures you don't slam against the glass. All the staff is really friendly and def help calm any nerves you have. You have an opportunity to buy pics/videos they take of you ($50). Our group split it and then we each just downloaded it. It's worth it - you will want t watch the video of you making a fool of yourself over and over again! read more

This was SO MUCH FUN! Amazing experience :) My boyfriend took me here as a surprise and surely enough, it was an awesome surprise ;) (Good job P haha) Registration and consent forms were quick. During the wait for our flying session, we got to watch other people fly in the wind tunnel. This is the time when you try to pick up the dos and don'ts for your own flight. It actually takes quite a bit of effort to remain stable during your flight. Highly recommending this experience to float / fly like a bird :) Just a quick tip for the girls: If you have long hair, put it up in a ponytail or in braids - unless you want dreadlocks..! read more

Ifly is an indoor skydiving arena. It's super safe and fun and highly recommended! I can't really compare it to actual sky diving because I have never been but for those who want to experience it but are too afraid or don't really have the money to can start off with ifly. The experience is really fun and the staff is super friendly, helpful and knowledgable in skydiving. It is however a little pricy.. The package I had bought was 2 flights each 1 minute long for around $85. With this they will train you so you are ready for the wind tunnel. read more

Went to iFly Toronto for my husband's and my daughter's birthday. What a great way to experience the sensation of skydiving. The technology in this 10million dollar facility is amazing. It's a recirculating wind tunnel that is controlled by an operator. The fans are mounted from above and the air is forced down the sides of the wind tunnel and recirculates back up the centre. The operator adjusts the wind speed according to your weight and stability. An instructor helps guide you into the right position and once you get the hang of it, the wind tunnel operator can increase the wind speed so that you get some more height. Before your session, you learn how to get into the right position in a short training session. Next you get geared up with a jumpsuit, goggles, helmet and earplugs. (The wind tunnel is very loud) Then it's time to enter the sealed chamber where you'll get to experience what it feels like to free fall. They offer a two flight introductory package but we did the four flight and I'm glad. Each flight is a minute. It's amazing how subtle changes in your position can make you turn, rise and fall. Mostly I just hovered with a big grin on my face thinking, "I can't believe I'm doing this!!" So much fun to do in a group of family or friends. read more

Had a flight session here yesterday and it was the most fun thing I have done in a long time. All of the staff are really friendly and encouraging, they make you feel really at ease. Quick in class training is excellent, short, sweet and to the point. We flew with Benoit, and have to say it was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgable about the sport, very clear in his instructions, and super supportive and calm. A little girl in our group had her first minute in the tunnel and stopped it. He pulled her out, got down on her level and spoke to her for a minute. It was clear she was a little bit freaked out by the experience. He got her back into the chamber and had her just jump around on the netting for a second or two, and then had her get on her belly with him so they could start the wind slowly and get her prepared. She started having a lot of fun and that little bit of extra attention from her instructor and the guy working the tunnel meant a lot to her. I'll definitely be going back for more air time. read more

I have always wanted to sky dive but was scared to do so...for valentines this year he decided this was a good way to get me started to get over my fear and feel the experience in a safe environment. Such an amazing experience, from the time we entered the facilities, the staff was attentive and everything was a breeze. The facilities are amazing, clean and the instructors are very attentive and clear as to how to get the best experience for your time. The instructors are also very knowledgable and give you lots of advice how to improve your self for the next time you visit. One thing we also liked was there is lots of space to watch other people doing their flights. We did the package of 4 which was completely worth it. It definitely did give me more confidence to go sky diving outside. read more

I just finished my session at iFly toronto. Wow! What a great time! The facility is huge and very clean. The checkin staff are friendly. My boyfriend and I booked the 12:30 session on sat, and there were only 2 other people in the group. We had a brief training session and then went to the wind tunnel. My instructor Mike D. Was extremely professional, with years of skydiving experience. I felt completely safe and at ease under his watch. Even when I suddenly dropped down, he dove in and caught me. I wasn't even afraid! Tip- book in advance. I booked a month in advance and the 2 pm time slot I wanted was already full! Tip - breathe through your nose . At the end of the session if there is extra time, they offer additional flights for $20 taxes in. I booked the 4 flight package. Which was enough for me, but I probably would have taken advantage of it had I booked the 2 flight package. I highly recommend iFly toronto for anybody who wants to fly :) read more

This was a great way to spend a Tuesday playing hooky from work! Our fliers were aged 72, 39, and 6. We all had an awesome time! The flying is a complete riot and very cool, it is quite a nuanced art to steer your body in 160KM/hr winds. Fun too, I was laughing with glee the whole time. I bought this as a gift for my dads birthday and it took us a few tries before we could actually set a date that worked. The front desk was always accommodating when I called to change the date/time yet again. Today we finally made it there. Check in was easy, with most of the details being punched into a tv touch screen by us. Then we had to sign our waivers, show our ID and be weighed before heading up. We had to wait for about half an hour before we began our training - this was a bit annoying. It was fun watching the others ahead of us in the flying chamber, but by the thirty minute mark we were bored and just wanted to get on with it! We went into the room where we watched a brief video and were educated on proper positioning and what the various hand signals went. Following that we put our stuff in lockers, suited up and went into the chamber. There is a bench inside and we went one by one (obv), but a guy getting 1-1 lessons went in between every three members of our group. That was a bit confusing. The instructor Julien was fantastic. He was very patient, calm and just all around great in not only preparing us but also taking care of us during our flights. He is really good at his job and I would highly recommend him. I'd say the biggest downside for me was that I paid $30 for pictures and only got 12 of myself and my dad. I can't even imagine paying that just for one person. If you do go back though, pictures are half price as long as you bring the USB. The overall experience was great, though I don't know that I'd do it again, as it was quite expensive. read more

Parents of young flyers beware. Confirm that there is an instructor that is certified for flying kids before spending your cash here. They took our money and our son received a sub-standard experience compared to other adult flyers, only to be told afterwards that the instructor was not certified to fly children higher than chest level. He had to watch everyone else have a better time than him, which ruined the experience. Super shady sales tactic that discriminates against children. We won't be back. read more

Not good to book here especially the second time promo. You can't get a date that fits your schedule even you book 15 days before that you wanted to use it. Then too bad it will expire soon and they will give you the day before it expires and if you don't avail it bye payment. It's only one time extension and your $150 is gone if you don't go to the schedule they give you. You are forced to take the schedule they provide just not tho waste your hard earned dollar. So much fun!! We received a four flight package as a gift and finally had the chance to check it out today (we booked our flight time about a month in advance). The facility is clean, the check in process is easy and efficient, and our instructor, Cody, was awesome. Everything was very well organized and the group of people we were with were all great. Thank goodness we didn't pay, and that they were fully booked because after viewing the other people participate. We realized that it was a rip off and now exciting at all. For other people, they were on the ground and the instructor was explaining it to them for one minute, so already one minute is wasted of your time and then when they look like they are getting the hang of it they have to go. For 4 minutes it was 119, and if you wanna go higher then the glass, it's a extra 10. The only reason I gave it two stars is for the watching experiance read more

Super fun experience! You whole experience is around 2 hours. You sign in then go upstairs to wait. You get put into a group of around 6 people then it's off to a classroom session were they teach you the hand signals and body position for the wind chamber. Then it's time to get ready. You put on the jumpsuits, goggles, ear plugs, and helmets. Girls, you'll need to tie up your hair unless you want dreadlocks. They also have running shoes if you forgot to bring a pair. Then it's the final moment in the chamber. You take turns doing 1 minute flights, 1 minutes flights, then 2 minute flight. Troy, our instructor, was amazing and really helped get all of us off the ground. Definitely would recommend! read more

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but.... I bought my little brother a 2 flight pass for his 12th birthday. I had the absolute day from hell and ended up being late. They have a 48 hour cancellation policy and don't make allowances, which makes sense because their instructors have their set groups that they take in at set times to prepare them and make sure they're safe, and then there are specific time slots that follow for flyers. Zooming down the highway nearly in tears, I called to explain I'd be 20 minutes late and told them it was a special birthday present for a kid. Instead of being bureaucratic and cold, the receptionist pulled a few strings and made sure he could squeeze into the next group and in the end, he had (according to him) one of the best birthday presents of his life. The staff were warm, professional, and made a little guy who was a bit freaked out feel safe and excited. I do NOT condone abusing their kindness by showing up late for no good reason and making stuff up. I just wanted to give a shout out to a business that had some soul and made my day from hell a day to remember with my bro- and one that he'll remember too.
