It reminded me of Soarin' Over California at Disney California Adventure, which is one of my favorite rides, so I had an idea of what to expect from the motion and ride style. However, the visuals and overall experience were even better than I expected. The ride gives a beautiful overview of Niagara Falls and the many attractions, landmarks, and scenic places visitors can explore. I honestly think this should be one of the first attractions tourists do when they arrive, because it gives you a great sense of what there is to see and can help you plan the rest of your trip. The immersive, multisensory experience made it feel exciting, beautiful, and memorable from beginning to end. The staff also made the experience even better. Everyone I encountered was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From start to finish, the service was excellent. I still have more time left to explore Niagara Falls, but Niagara Takes Flight is definitely one of my favorite attractions here so far. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

If you can afford it, I'd suggest buying the "jump to the head of the line" tickets - these are green wristbands instead of the regular ones, which are blue. There's a weigh-in at the place where wristbands are put on you; this is also where you are given a blue safety helmet. For the next 90 minutes you're at the top of the tower, waiting for your turn to be strapped into a harness that becomes your seat and safety lines. 90's pop hits on the overhead, and playing, "name that language" help pass the time. And then there's the spectacular view. Just before the gate is opened, instructions are given. Listen carefully to them: The stop *will* be sudden, and it will be scary, until you realize, "Oh, I was told about this". The trip itself? I laughed all the way down, and leaned far back, which made me travel much faster than the other three people on parallel lines. Once unharnessed and out the other side, it's very much an, "exit through the gift shop" situation: There's no other way to leave but through the media center, and multiple people tried to prompt us to buy videos or photos we hadn't requested. Which is fine, but I mention it. Lastly, as a courtesy to all guests, chauffeured golf carts bring everyone up the steep trail to Victoria Park. I imagine in the wilting heat of July and August, this would be especially welcome. I strongly recommend this activity, especially as a family outing, or as a date.

I was expecting a little more, like a camera mounted in front of you so the whole thing is taped, and more pictures than 1. That said, do the zipline, do it early for the discount, but pass on the extra package.

I left my hat in one of the pouches and left before realizing it. By the time I went back it was mixed in with all the other harnesses. He mad sure to tell ALL the staff to keep an eye out for it and called me hours later when he found it to come pick it up. He had no obligation to call me or to return my hat. He could just tell I was super upset and made sure I got it back. FYI zip line was super awesome as well.

But the NF Adventure Park is an underrated and largely unheralded fun park right near the heart of the Falls, within spitting distance of the Falls themselves (if you are a spitter). They have zip-lines which are thrilling, and have an amazing view of the mist and the whole area, and after what is inevitably a long wait, you will get to do as much as you like, as many times as you like, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. It was probably the most fun that my German family members had on their trip to WNY, while the older folk enjoyed the Falls, the kids thought this was unforgettable and are already talking about going again when we come back. I'd like to take some of my Buffalo friends here because none of them seem to have heard of it. It's slightly pricey, but I suppose everything is these days.

It is a little on the pricey side. When we went it was around $60 a person but we thought "when are we going to do this again?". We did have to wait about 30 minutes before it was our turn but it could have been a lot worse. The ride down is breathtaking. You see the best view of Niagara Falls and it's kind of cool having people watch you have the time of your life. They do take photos of you going down the zip line. So if you want a souvenir, they have you covered.

We bought tickets at the kiosk there were some other options for other places on Clifton Hill. We opted to just get a ticket for the Wheel. There was a bit of a line, but the wait was minimal. The nice thing with it being a little busy, they still let you just be with your party. They didn't mix others in your pod for the ride. It is a climate control so you won't be cold or hot depending on the day. The view is great but on a rainy day I couldn't get any great pictures of the falls even though we would see them. Great experience for anyone young or old. And you get to see all of clifton hill as well.

The reason for the 3 stars is just the prices for everything is astonishing. I get it's all tourist so that's the reason but definitely figure out what you want to see and do before coming down as things add up. Also, it's called a Hill for a reason. Trouble walking, or young or super tired/ sore this street is a pain to walk up. Did it many times and boy are my legs sore. The lights and sounds are nice to see at night.
