We went in because we saw the 144 flavors of soft serve. Which is completely crazy right???? How does one place have so many flavors? It seems like they mix the flavors using syrups. And they have recipes for different flavors. And then put it in their soft serve machine. The flavors did seem to taste like what we ordered. But the ice cream seems to have melted faster than other soft serve places. I'm guessing because of the added syrups? I do have to say the service was good. I'm in a mood so I'm sticking with the crappy reviews. After a pretty good dinner up the boardwalk (at Moe Moons-review is pending), my daughter and a few of her teammates wanted some ice cream. It's usually a tradition with us, so we stopped at a local place right on the boardwalk...Iggy's. Should be called Icky's. Three of the girls got soft ice cream and all three thought it was terrible. Here are their comments: Strawberry cheesecake-tasted like vanilla with barely a hint of strawberry. The ice cream was WAY too soft and was melting when the woman handed it to me. tasted watery. Terrible. Coffee- absolutely awful. Tasted like weak chocolate and not even a little bit of coffee flavor. Way too soft. Terrible. Fudge brownie- tasted like coffee flavor, just with slightly more chocolate. couldn't finish it. just terrible. The one girl that got hard ice cream actually liked it and that's the only reason for the second star. Nice chocolaty flavor and thick bands of peanut butter throughout. Very tasty I love ice cream, so I hate giving ice cream joints bad reviews, but Iggy's just wasn't good. read more

I was unable to check the Yelp reviews before I came here and boy, I wish I was able to because I agree with several previous reviews...I did not like my order at all! After walking on the beach and boardwalk, I was craving ice cream! Stumbling on this place seemed like I hit the jack pot because they serve over a 100 flavors of soft serve ice cream. I felt overwhelmed with all the choices I had so I asked the server for recommendations or which ones were popular. I got a sense that he didn't even know which flavors were good and was not very helpful. Maybe he was a new employee? I decided to go with Mango Cheesecake (since mango is my go to!!) But they also don't provide samples of the soft serves so I just hoped it was delicious. Unfortunately, I was so wrong and disappointed. It tasted SO artificial. But not even like artificial mango or artificial cheesecake. I was so confused at what I was eating and it totally did not meet my expectations! Sad to say it did not satisfy my craving for ice cream :( I was probably better off just buying ice cream from the grocery store. read more

We were on the boardwalk for lunch Friday, Oct 12. Stopped here and were very pleased. Staff was attentive and courteous. We had chicken fingers and burgers. Better sit down food than we had at some places farther inland, and generous servings. We brought the leftovers home and had for lunch the next day. My daughter had the soft serve mango and really liked it. We will definitely make a point to stop at Iggy's the next time we are at Myrtle Beach. Don't miss this gem. read more

Ride and impatient blonde girl at the window took out order. There were many ice cream places to choose from, but we stopped here because it said many soft serve flavors. We should've raised our eyebrows when they had a list of hundred flavors. My husband ordered peanut butter chocolate and it tasted like vanilla. This place has the most soft-serve i have ever seen in one building. Hotdogs baskets made a good lunch for a day on the sand. We always hit this place up after blowing some money at the Gay Dolphin and Arcade. This place has the standard beach boardwalk food but the kicker is the almost 150 flavors of Ice cream. read more

We have always enjoyed going to this ice cream shop when in Myrtle Beach. Everyone is so friendly and read to help you out. This place has the most flavors of soft serve ice cream it's always hard to choose which one you are going to get. If you are on the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach I encourage you to stop in and get some wonderful ice cream. read more

Went today with another couple for ice cream. Nice location on the boardwalk. Lots of choices of ice cream and soft serve. Ice cream was a bit runny as a result of freezer perhaps needing an adjustment. Had a cone of the cherry and it was very good but, a bit runny as a result of the aforementioned. We all were satisfied with our choices (144 flavors of the soft serve). Beside the ice cream and soft serve, this place serves hot dogs, hamburgs, fries, etc. Didn't have but probably will try next time. read more

stopped here after the arcade to get ice cream to take walking down the beach one night on our way to hotel room this past Labor day weekend. They had more soft serve choices than I've ever seen but got regular chocolate soft serve cone, husband got the vanilla and our 10 yr old got a small (actually quite small) mint chocolate chip regular scoop in cup, tasted just fine but they seemed to be a bit understaffed for such a busy location. stood inside at counter for a few mins. then went outside to the window where a young man waited on us quickly and repeated our order back to us to acknowledge he had the order correct with friendly service. read more

Soft serve flavors were terrible. Didn't taste like anything. Cheap ingredients. They also offer for your cone to be dipped...but my husband asked for banana soft serve dipped in chocolate and they told him they're not supposed to dip flavors. read more

We were hungry and looking for a place on the boardwalk. Hot dogs sounded good and so we decided to Give Iggy's a shot. Wow! We nailed it. The Nathans hot dogs were incredible along with the "Killer Fries", which is a must. The family loved all the food, friendly service and the Myrtle Mud ice cream to boot. Can't wait to go back next year, this place is on our map. read more
