After seeing recommendations for Aphrodite's Closet in social media groups, I finally made my way there. I was greeted by the owner, Ms. Tina, in the beautifully decorated store. It's located off the street in a non descript storefront but once you step inside, you know you're in a female friendly space. Ms Tina asked about the problems I was experiencing with my current fit and then literally sized me up. I went from a 40D to a customized 38G which fit like a glove. While she was busy providing the individualized fitting. I mused about the price, think it would be over $100 for each handmade brassiere so I was thrilled to hear the bras run under $75. Which is still a lot for a single bra compared to department store brands but the quality was outstanding. She explained how they are made and that you can also customize the look. I looked and felt like a brand new woman. So much so that I nabbed a sports bra on the way out. Plan to upgrade your wardrobe soon. You'll be glad you did.

I scheduled a fitting measuring apt for 1:00...that I had to pay for before they will schedule you. I get there a little early. I didn't get seen until 1:15. Not only did I get seen late, but the visit was super rushed and the employee doing the measuring had 3 other ladies that she was helping. When I am done and checking out the lady at the register asks If "I want to leave a tip for the measurer?". I tell her that's what the apt. was for your website fines it as a "personalized fitting fee". She insists again a little more adamant if I wanted to leave a tip for the measurer. I repeated myself that's what your personalized fitting fee is for. I told her if you guys feel like she needs a tip then that's on you because I paid your fitting fee that should be her tip. Furthermore, I had to share my time with 3 other ladies.
