I grew up in Kenmore but no longer live in the area so I hope you can imagine how excited I was to hear about Red Otter's opening. I seriously counted down the days until I could finally check it out for myself!!! After a winter storm forced Red Otter to close one afternoon last month, my mom and I made it a priority to stop by at the very next opportunity and it definitely did not disappoint. The space is big, bright, and welcoming, with an impressive variety of books, games, and of course coffee options. I ordered one of the seasonal lattes and absolutely loved it. What really sets Red Otter apart, though, is its heart and community building. I love that they donate a portion of their sales to a worthy organization each month showing that they're clearly community oriented and that they even host a book club. And of course the otter mascot and branding makes my heart melt! So cute! So, all in all, I must award a very worthy five stars without hesitation. I cannot wait to return, especially during the summer months! I'm so happy to see a place like this thriving in Kenmore!!!
