I appreciated that throughout the whole session we were told different modifications we could do and I felt very at ease. The facility itself is right next to a great coffee shop I worked at before the class and the parking lot has plenty of parking spots. Inside there were showers, lockers to put away personal items, and all the yoga essentials like mats, towels, and yoga blocks. Also went to my first sound bath and it was great - the owner was very sweet and really cares about each person that comes to the studio. Highly recommend checking out a class and/or sound bath!

They name it Earth, Air, Water, and Alchemy. Basically Earth is practicing more rooted postures, water is flexibility, and air is power yoga. alchemy is a blend. Now that she's a teenager, and I'm turning 40, I'm getting back into it and so glad that I found Horizon. Not only are their facilities nice and clean, but the owners and all the teachers / staff are endlessly kind and supportive. I love the classes, always feel incredible after, and have got my friend hooked too so I have a buddy to go with! We book classes on the MindBody app which makes it easy to make sure we have a spot, and I love that I can rinse off in the shower before I hop in the car. If you're interested in hot yoga, this is absolutely the perfect studio to start off, get back into it, or continue a practice if you're already a full blown yogi. So grateful I found them!

They no longer offer evening (6:30), late evening (8:00) classes, or advanced flow classes. If you work, it is economical to use class pass than to become a monthly member. The instruction is different too. 6 years ago, the teachers used to explain/demonstrate the pose, make corrections, and describe what to work on; I've tried several teachers, and now, they just call out the pose. Some knew I'm (was) a returnee: still, so distant, so aloof every time. Also, the cue, "If it's in your practice, do an inversion", or praising a student on his beautiful jump back. OK. Is anyone interested in helping us make these part of our practice? The studio is still beautiful and spacious. And I am eternally grateful to the wonderful teachers who taught me the fundamentals so well. Time to move on.

I do wish they offered a few classes that were hot yoga or at least warm yoga - sometimes the studio is pretty chilly which makes it hard for my muscles to relax! When we asked about canceling, a staff member advised us via text that we needed to wait until the first payment drafted before canceling. Because of that instruction, the cancellation ended up being outside of the three-day rescission window in the contract. When we tried to resolve the issue and explained that we followed the guidance given to us, the refund request was still denied. What's frustrating is that we have the text message showing the instruction we were given, and the membership and sessions were never used at all. We also asked for corporate contact information to have the situation reviewed at a higher level, but were told the billing department was the only contact available. Very disappointing experience with how this situation was handled.

I really hoped for a better experience with Hotworx but the cons ended up outweighing the pros. The…read moreconcept is working out in a 125 degree infrared sauna to help torch calories during and after your workout while watching a pre-recorded video workout. It sounded inviting and with all the variety of workouts you can sign up for, including pilates, yoga, cycling, rowing, bands, iso, and barre, I thought this would be an amazing new workout studio to supplement my gym membership. I ended up signing up when they were running a special so I got my mat & towel (which they require you to purchase) for free, which would've been valued around $99. Monthly dues are $59 for unlimited access to this location. At first I enjoyed going to Hotworx and trying out the vast variety of workout videos. However, about 3-4 weeks in, I had tried all the workouts at least once and I noticed the videos were the same and were never being rotated out. As with any workout that you don't change up, you will hit a plateau. They were boring and no longer challenging since my body was used to the same workout routines and I had practically memorized all the moves. After a month, I decided to put in my cancellation but I was then told that you need to be a member for three months before you are eligible to put in a 60 day cancellation notice. I've never heard of gyms/studios that try to lock you in like Hotworx did. Not to mention they NEVER disclosed the part of having to be a member for three months prior to putting in your cancellation notice when I signed up. Out of the five months I have been there, their workout videos have not changed once. They did, however, add in the new barre classes. If you're looking for a workout that is boring, predictable and you want the same exact routine, look no further. Definitely try out all the classes and make sure you want to commit to at least 5 months before you sign up here!
