Booked a water class through ClassPass and it was an amazing experience! I hadn't done yoga in a few years and it was my first time doing hot yoga. Not gonna lie, I struggled in the last 20 minutes of the class but when we were given a cold, essential oil-infused towel at the end, I felt like it made it all worth it. I appreciated that throughout the whole session we were told different modifications we could do and I felt very at ease. The facility itself is right next to a great coffee shop I worked at before the class and the parking lot has plenty of parking spots. Inside there were showers, lockers to put away personal items, and all the yoga essentials like mats, towels, and yoga blocks. Also went to my first sound bath and it was great - the owner was very sweet and really cares about each person that comes to the studio. My favorite studio in the metroplex. I've been a longtime yogi here and the studio is fabulous. The teachers are very experienced and there's a multitude of different types of yoga here. They name it Earth, Air, Water, and Alchemy. Basically Earth is practicing more rooted postures, water is flexibility, and air is power yoga. alchemy is a blend. I really enjoy Poornima's classes and Tanya's in particular. Also cold scented towels at the end of the class! This is definitely a part to look forward to. read more

What a truly beautiful gift to our community. Ayako has put her heart and soul into the experience that you receive here. The studio its self is relaxing and peaceful. The classes are wonderful. If you are looking to improve your balance, flexibility and strength, you will absolutely find that here. However, for me the true gift of this studio is the sense of peace that I am left with after their classes. It is a beautiful presence of mind that we all need more of in our lives. I leave class feeling relaxed and centered with myself. This practice has helped me to find more contentment with the world around me every day that I come. I am deeply grateful for the mindfulness practice that I have been able to deepen and strengthen through the guidance of the instructors. I work in end of life care and I find this practice to be grounding and centering. I looked at many studios trying to find one that provided more than the physical arm of yoga and this studio has surpassed my expectations. So much thought has been put into helping support those who are lucky enough to have found this studio. Ayako provides workshops, meditation practice and sound baths regularly to help this yoga community's journey through both the physical practice as well as the mental and emotional aspects. She truly cares and provides a well rounded practice for your body and mind, striving to meet the different needs of those who are at her studio. I have improved my flexibility, strength, and stamina through the classes. I am grateful for this but I am truly grateful for the peace and tranquility that the mindfulness component has given me. Her classes in particular help me to slow down my mind and connect to the present moment through breath. My friend was coming to visit, so we wanted to try and find a yoga studio that would be good to visit while she was visiting. We had such a great time coming to a water class here! The water class is their easiest level of yoga, and when we arrived for our class the staff greeted us in such a friendly manner. We deeply appreciated them making us feel welcomed, and still not rushing us when we arrived 3 minutes late. They helped us get into the studio quickly and guide us to available areas to get started. A few other people ran late, so the class begun once everyone was situated. The studio was slightly heated, but honestly it was not terrible in comparison to other hot yoga studios I've been to. It was very mild in my opinion, but you still work up a sweat! Our instructor was so lovely, and guided us through a wonderful session that left the both of us feeling rejuvenated. My favorite part was when our instructor walked around and provided us with cold towels infused with calming essential oils that provided such great relief at the end of our session. If you're looking for a yoga studio, I highly recommend visiting this location. They do provide you a mat if needed, and if it's your first time you can book your first class for $10! read more

I am on a quest to hop around and try every yoga studio in the DFW area! Thanks to Class Pass I am able to do just that. In the last year, after completing 2 ultramarathons back to back in the beginning of 2022, ramping back up on my practice has done wonders for my body, mentality and my soul. And my tired distance runners muscles are thanking me immensely! Alchemy was a wonderful stop on the list not too long ago. I attended a "Water" YIN class the other day after teaching spin cycle in the morning. It was a wonderful restorative flow and we did a lot of shoulder and hip opening stretches. I also appreciated that the room as fairly warm. Ayako came around and made adjustments which I also appreciated. Their locker rooms and showers were peaceful and immaculate with lots of amenities if you needed to change before work and etc. I am very happy that this blissful studio is close to my gym. I recommend you have a soft mat with support and/or yoga towel...as the floors are on the harder side and I found that I could feel the floor somewhat through my mat. As someone used to practicing on a non office type of floor that was the only issue from the class. I do love the space otherwise. I can't wait to try many more classes here. My favorite yoga studio in all of North Dallas! Having skipped around in the past at various locations, I am happy to have found my yoga home! It is conveniently located right off of Preston, with it's own parking lot (never run late to a class due to lack of parking again!), the interior is clean and serene, the wash room offers a shower and lockers for all, the studio and meditation room is clean and modern, most importantly the positive and welcoming energy you feel upon walking in, the instructors all really make an effort to learn everyone's names and addresses them, resulting in the studio feeling like one big family! 5/5! read more

Awesome studio. Instructor walked around the room, demonstrated the poses, suggested modifications and challenges. She is extremely flexible so that gave me a push to do more, be better, reach beyond what I believe my limits are. She was encouraging in a serene manner. At the end, she went around the room to fan everyone with a cold towel then placed it on your forehead. There aren't any cubbies or lockers so everyone just placed their belongings outside the room. read more

A wonderful studio and community. Peaceful and welcoming for all levels of yogis. The water class is gentle enough for a first time experience and class options progress into Hand stands and more advanced practice styles and poses. You can pick and choose your favorites. I've had 4 different yoga instructors and I enjoyed each one. They also have meditation and Sound Bath classes available. I have been searching for months to find a studio like this. I live 30 min away and it was a well worth the commute. I highly recommend this studio. read more

Just visited The Alchemy Yoga Studio for the first time & tried the Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath class & it was literally the best meditation class I've ever tried. Atmosphere: Extremely Nice & Clean Inside. Felt safe that the space was clean with Covid going on & all. I will definitely be going back to The Alchemy Yoga Studio again to try out another class. The studio is beautiful! It is so clean, and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The meditation room is unlike anything I've ever seen. It is perfect. Ayako's class is amazing. The class was a great workout from head to toe with the best instruction. I felt great results from just one class the next day. The hot yoga room was the PERFECT temperature.
