I was surprised (in a good way) how big of a difference the word "maybe" adds to people with very different physical abilities. Plenty of parking behind the studio and you can enter from the back door (they have a sign on their door that says you're at the right place). It resembles an older home, but this makes their studio very comfortable. Sign in at the front and if you're new, they will give you a quick information form to fill out. Shoes off and you're good to go. Seemed like a very welcoming and no frills place to practice yoga. I can't wait to come back, even without Class Pass, sometime soon.

Not only are their facilities nice and clean, but the owners and all the teachers / staff are endlessly kind and supportive. I love the classes, always feel incredible after, and have got my friend hooked too so I have a buddy to go with! We book classes on the MindBody app which makes it easy to make sure we have a spot, and I love that I can rinse off in the shower before I hop in the car. If you're interested in hot yoga, this is absolutely the perfect studio to start off, get back into it, or continue a practice if you're already a full blown yogi. So grateful I found them!

I tried to attend classes at different times throughout the day to get the feel of the crowd, different instructors, and variety of class flows. All classes go at a fairly quick pace so you will need to know your yoga poses or peek over at your neighbors. Don't worry, there are plenty of people in class. It ranged anywhere from 10 to 30 yogis. The Sculpt and Detox Flows are the best classes as they incorporate dumbbells, kettle bells, medicine balls, and resistant bands. Fun stuff! The instructors are helpful, upbeat, and motivating. A cold, wet lavender towel is offered at the end of class and it is truly blissful after an hour of 100+ degree of hot, sweaty yoga. It is pricey at $150 per month or $25 per class but it really is worth it if you go a few times a week. It was so addicting that I went 12 times in 14 days. Just after two weeks, I felt leaner, stronger, and more carefree.

They no longer offer evening (6:30), late evening (8:00) classes, or advanced flow classes. If you work, it is economical to use class pass than to become a monthly member. The instruction is different too. 6 years ago, the teachers used to explain/demonstrate the pose, make corrections, and describe what to work on; I've tried several teachers, and now, they just call out the pose. Some knew I'm (was) a returnee: still, so distant, so aloof every time. Also, the cue, "If it's in your practice, do an inversion", or praising a student on his beautiful jump back. OK. Is anyone interested in helping us make these part of our practice? The studio is still beautiful and spacious. And I am eternally grateful to the wonderful teachers who taught me the fundamentals so well. Time to move on.

When we asked about canceling, a staff member advised us via text that we needed to wait until the first payment drafted before canceling. Because of that instruction, the cancellation ended up being outside of the three-day rescission window in the contract. When we tried to resolve the issue and explained that we followed the guidance given to us, the refund request was still denied. What's frustrating is that we have the text message showing the instruction we were given, and the membership and sessions were never used at all. We also asked for corporate contact information to have the situation reviewed at a higher level, but were told the billing department was the only contact available. Very disappointing experience with how this situation was handled.

The…read moreconcept is working out in a 125 degree infrared sauna to help torch calories during and after your workout while watching a pre-recorded video workout. It sounded inviting and with all the variety of workouts you can sign up for, including pilates, yoga, cycling, rowing, bands, iso, and barre, I thought this would be an amazing new workout studio to supplement my gym membership. I ended up signing up when they were running a special so I got my mat & towel (which they require you to purchase) for free, which would've been valued around $99. Monthly dues are $59 for unlimited access to this location. At first I enjoyed going to Hotworx and trying out the vast variety of workout videos. However, about 3-4 weeks in, I had tried all the workouts at least once and I noticed the videos were the same and were never being rotated out. As with any workout that you don't change up, you will hit a plateau. They were boring and no longer challenging since my body was used to the same workout routines and I had practically memorized all the moves. After a month, I decided to put in my cancellation but I was then told that you need to be a member for three months before you are eligible to put in a 60 day cancellation notice. I've never heard of gyms/studios that try to lock you in like Hotworx did. Not to mention they NEVER disclosed the part of having to be a member for three months prior to putting in your cancellation notice when I signed up. Out of the five months I have been there, their workout videos have not changed once. They did, however, add in the new barre classes. If you're looking for a workout that is boring, predictable and you want the same exact routine, look no further. Definitely try out all the classes and make sure you want to commit to at least 5 months before you sign up here!
