The food was actually very good and this was the 2nd time we ordered it during our hotel stay. 1/2way through the meal we discovered a large bug baked inside a pancake. Then when doing a check of the other food we discovered a hair or eyelash baked into the eggs. We were able to get a full refund but I wouldn't eat there again because we were disgusted. read more

Went on Sunday afternoon w/ 8 ppl (5 adults, teen, preteen and toddler) When we arrived we were told a 30-40 minute wait although the place was empty. Since 4 of us had a plane to catch we went ahead and looked at the menu so we can order immediately (we decided that the next breakfast place would be a 15-20 minute drive and unsure of the wait time). When we were seated the hostess told us that it was only two servers on that side and it would take a minute for her to get to us. What the heck? Why are you seating ppl if the server is unavailable. So we seat there for about 5 minutes, no server acknowledged us at all. So my dad wrote down our orders (food and drink) and took it to what we believe was the manager. Reasons for the two stars, although we really didn't have a server. There were different ppl that gave us drinks, napkins, silverware, and food and of course Dad took our order. The food was good, correct and no complaints. The "manager" is the one that gave us the ticket. Although the food was good, I don't foresee myself stopping by when in the area. Next time I'll drive that 15-20 minutes and see what other options are available. read more

We stopped in before heading to a funeral and after driving 5.5 hours we were hungry. It started off a little rocky because the hostess seemed overwhelmed that she triple sat her 3 servers and here we come 2 autumnal tables as it was 7 of us. She sat us pretty quickly, wiped off our tables and provided us with menus. Cool A gentleman came over and ONLY got our drink orders and we thought...we may be here for 2 hours. Ok, another gentleman came to take our orders while another young lady took our other halls order. To our delight, shock and surprise the kitchen was on point. Our food was delivered timely and we were able to leave and continue on our day. This was Friday, December 28th around 12 noon. The staff should be proud of themselves. Bad service! 40+minute wait for food. It took flagging down a server other than ours to get our food. The kitchen was cranking out to go orders to the detriment of the in person diners. The waitress was apathetic at best about the quality of service herself just complaining about the cooks making to go orders their first priority. The food was not good either. Use to be a good place, not any more. Very poor service. Did not get any utensils, had to ask for them when our food came. Plastic utensils and only one napkin that came with the utensils. No syrup came with food. Hand to run around to find someone to get us syrup. Ihop use to be known for their syrup. Had to use the straw from the wife's pop to stir my coffee. So.. we've had "challenges" the last couple times we ate here. The food is good so my husband insists we go once a month or so. Today there was one waiter for the entire restaurant and she wasn't even that friendly. The greeter was very nice, but he asked how many in my party, walked away to "find" a table for us. (There were at least five empty ones) He didn't return for over ten minutes and was helping fill drinks and carry food to tables etc. Overall, the bright spot is the food. Don't go here if pressed for time, although some times are better than others. I would be surprised if this place lasts much longer. Next time, I'll opt for take out. read more

Today I had a Daughter and Dad breakfast. My daughter insisted on IHOP (Bedford Ohio Location). I took her in the morning of 1.5.2020. We were seated In a section that had a few people but was not packed. The service we experienced was non existent. The food came out way late (30 plus minutes) and wrong, and when we tried to order the endless pancakes it took over an additional 30 minutes to get a second round of pancakes. I would strongly suggest steering clear of this IHOP until the servers get some retraining and support from the kitchen crew on serving the right meal in a reasonable amount of time. read more

I had visited IHOP with my younger grandchildren, we were seated at 11:30am. Took the waiter over a half an hour to come over to asked us what was our order and the beverage of choice. We sat there, the family across from us, well they were seated well before we were seated and NO ONE came over to their table. And they got up and left. If I could give this place less than one star I would. This establishment is a shining example of customer service done wrong. I've been to this restaurant numerous times and have had to deal with rude wait staff, long seating waits and dirty booths. I finally decided I would start ordering per Uber Eats to avoid the wait. The two times I've ordered through them, they've sent my food cold, missing items or just messy. I had to drive up to replace my order the first time due to them forgetting a drink I paid for. The second time I paid an additional charge for pancake toppings and a drink and didn't receive either of them. The UberEats driver was kind enough to offer to go back up to fix the order. One of the female managers even spoke to him and acknowledged that they messed up the order twice and apologized. About ten minutes later, I got a call from another manager stating that they would no longer make my orders because "you complained twice this week(I was missing items). If we can't get it right then why keep ordering? I will not be remaking your order." So much for giving places a second chance. Worst customer service I've experienced in a while. read more

It's never too crowded so wait time is usually not an issue. A step up from a small town diner, but this it lacks that charm as it is a chain restaurant.
