Yes!!!!!!! Have not had Waffle House since 2018 when I was in FL. Same great tasting waffles. I'm sure I'll get some flack for a 4 star review but it was all about the experience. Sure they were short staffed, three workers pumping out all that food at 9:30am with little to no time to really clean up. I get that. Floors under the bar were dirty. Fast food bathrooms are fast food bathrooms. They were not doing takeout which upset some customers but tough love. I did get a free chocolate chip waffle because of a mistake. Wasn't a big fan of it, chocolate chips took away from the flavor of the waffle. Big kudos for the guy on the grill. Non stop for an hour. Just remember to drink some water if you get feedback from these reviews. Enjoy that tip I left you, treat yourself. My friend and I came here for a late breakfast/lunch on a Sunday. Like most waffle houses, the space was limited so we had to wait a bit for a table to open up. The issue that we had was there was no system to seating people, so a couple groups of people sat down at a table before we were seated and the staff didn't do anything about it. The restaurant looked clean and the staff was reasonably friendly. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with hashbrowns; scattered smothered and covered and well done. I ordered the Sausage, Egg, & Cheese Hash Brown Bowl and I wasn't too pleased with my order. This is my first visit so I can't say much but the Hash Browns was under and over cooked and very greasy. Hopefully next visit will be better. read more

First-ever trip to Waffle House a success! Despite frequent travels across the Midwest and Southeast, never had the urge to pull off into the 24-hour staple of franchised cooking. This came to an end in Willoughby, Ohio. Ordered the pecan waffle along with a large side of hash browns done smothered (with onions), and chunked (and ham). Food emerged promptly, and I was actually impressed. Waffles was Eggo thin (no odes to Brussels or Liege here), but were nevertheless crunchy on the surface with a hint of soft on the inside. Batter evoked the smell of sweet vanilla cream; probably intended. With butter and Aunt Jemima-style syrup, overall very satisfying. As were the shredded hash brown, which was served just a bit crunchy. Reasonably clean overall, but noted leaky syrup bottles left sticky rings on everything it contacted. Including my elbows.
