Absolutely worst experience of all time. Went in with my family today 07/24, and it was pretty dead. Server was rude from the moment we walked through the door. Sat us didn't introduce herself just went straight to taking drink orders, someone from my party requested a Coke Zero and Melissa rudely told us to look at the back of the menu for drink choices. We ordered our apps and main courses Melissa was asking everyone what we wanted for sides and then suddenly stopped to very rudely tell us to look at the side choices on the menu before ordering. Another party came in and Melissa was much friendlier with them, making jokes and laughing. Our food came out and at least half the table was missing their sides. When the sides finally did come out, some were undercooked and plain and others were burnt. We ordered a T-bone steak, medium well, came out well and nothing like on the menu. Tipped Melissa based on her service and her response was "wow, have the day you deserve" with a nasty attitude. I only ever learned her name after being checked out and receiving my receipt. Will not be returning, I highly recommend Melissa being trained again as well as the chef. read more

There is so much room for improvement at this IHOP location. We got here and the place just looked dirty. The floors were gross and the tables were covered with dirty plates. It took a minute to get seated and the person who seated us apologized and said they were short staffed. Once seated it took forever to get our drink orders in and once we finally got our food orders in it took about an hour to get our breakfast. The food looked like it had been sitting under the warmer for a while. Fast forward and my little one decides she needs to go to the bathroom. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. One of the stalls had poop on it and the other had blood on the seat. There were papers all over the floor and a lovely palmetto bug made sure to greet us while we were in there. It takes a lot for me to give a place a low rating. The only reason I gave this place and overall 2 stars instead of 1 was because the visible staff were working really hard despite their work conditions and were very nice despite looking stressed so I can only say the condition of this place is a poor management problem. One star because I can't give it zero. I have been here twice, the first time was soon after they opened and the service was deplorable. It's been a few years so we tried again today on Christmas, it was not too busy so thought it would be fine. Apparently the managers think it is acceptable to prioritize to-go orders over dine-in customers and after TWO HOURS our lovely waitress apologized and said we didn't have to pay for our drinks as they still had not started cooking our pancakes so we tipped her and left. I went on their first Saturday opened so we expected it to be a bit busy. It was but thankfully they weren't seating every table to create some distance between customers. I think this was done more so because they were all new than for social distancing but it was still appreciated either way! The parking lot is easy to navigate and we were greeted immediately upon entering. We were told a 30 minute wait and waited about 20, so not bad. It is a brand new location so everything decor wise was bee and clean! The service was great, our waitress was super friendly. The food was really good as well. They make great poached eggs! She had an attitude when we told her and came back with the same food COLD again! My husband and I came here for a breakfast date and he ordered Unsweetened tea and the sirloin tip meal, and I had the beef burrito bowl with a side of hashbrowns. The tea was sweet (not unsweetened, like he ordered) and none of his food was above room temperature. The meat wasn't even warm. The pancakes weren't even warm enough to melt the butter at all. My food was fine, but the hash browns didn't come out until I was almost done. We normally love visiting IHOP, but hadn't been to this location before and will not be returning. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This is not the first time we've had a poor experience at this location. I thought maybe the first time was because the location was new. We waited to be seated, server took our drink order and appetizer. Appetizer came, we finished appetizer. Still no drinks. Wait 10 minutes for server to come back WITHOUT drinks and to ask "what can I get you to drink", then "your appetizer will be up in a minute." At that point we asked to pay for our appetizer. Went to the register waited while waitress got an attitude and took it out on the computer. Then she just proceeded to walk away. We then asked another employee to help us pay our bill. He said he couldn't, so we asked for the manager.....apparently he was the only person in the kitchen. Finally tracked down waitress, who was chit chatting in the back. Gave her cash and left. This IHOP is in dire need of adult supervision & it's never going to happen if the manager remains chained to the Grill in the kitchen during peak dining hours. There was no crosstalk or teamwork as I witnessed young high school age employees loitering around the reception area looking dazed & confused w dirty tables liberally scattered throughout the restaurant while a long line of waiting diners wound out the lobby and into their parking lot. One poor chap waited an hour after arriving for his online order and watched me wait 20 minutes for a seat and eventually receive my breakfast before he received his. It was ugly. I felt bad for the manager who was summoned from his Grill in the back twice to address diners complaints which further set him behind and compounded his issues exponentially. Was there this morning server was working at register and said would be with us in just a minute then went on to clear table walking back to it twice while we stood waiting to be seated and then went into kitchen and brought out food for another table finally a different server seated us and recommended the bogo crepe which we got I got the crepes with egg and hash browns and sausage not sure if crepes make a good omelet wouldn't order it again but it was the least expensive breakfast I have had in a year. They have a good chicken sandwich I have had several times and has been good every time. I guess they just need to train their servers better seat customer and then clean off other tables read more

My husband and I had supper there Jan. 23, 2023 between 6:30 pm and 7:00. pm. The service was good. We ordered the turkey with gravy. We originally asked for salad and broccoli for our sides. They brought out the salad which the lettuce was limp and not too fresh. The waitress came back and told us that she was made aware by the chef that they were out of broccoli so we opted for mashed potatoes. The waitress brought back our plates and my husband's had one limp piece of broccoli and I had two and we both had a very small portion of burnt turkey. We ate the meal as by that time we were both hungry and at the point that we wanted to go home. We got charged for the regular meal which to us was at best the senior portion. read more

Very disappointed, ordered turkey dinner. My plate came out cold, and with no gravy. My husband ordered boneless Buffalo chicken tenders (5) and fries dinner. Came out cold and with only 4 tenders. Manager came by at the time, took our plates back, my husbands came back with a whole new plate hot. Mine came back with same plate of food that was microwaved because I salt and pepperd my potatoes and the turkey was shriveled up and dry with still no gravy. Submitted an online order for pick up & waited an hour & forty five minutes for an order of french toast & eggs, and an order of pancakes with eggs. like seriously??? that's ridiculous. but the best part was getting to the restaurant an eternity later to see there were three (3) cars in the parking lot and absolutely nothing going on inside. when we walked in we waited an additional ten minutes because the pancakes were still not ready. one of the servers rolled her eyes and said "we didn't do anything wrong" & the four servers standing in the front like caddy high schoolers snickered as we walked out. so yeah, not a great experience. food was fine i guess. probably never going to this ihop again. read more

My service and food not good at all I'm a server and have worked in the food industry for long time I was there with my family of 6 and the food took forever and we didn't wait long to be seated and I saw how all the servers and managers where on there phones and my sever hardly checked on us and my daughter ordered food before everyone else and she got her food last after everyone got there food and I kept having to ask for things like refills for the kids drinks and etc the food came out my sandwich was soggy and my sons food the eggs where over down sat under the heat lamp the baby's food never came out first when I asked if the kids food can come out first but didn't come out until most of the other food came out I'm just saying then I was around another guy and he told me his food came out cold I'm just saying as a service industry business need to better servers work as a team where other servers have time to be on the phone they have time to check tables even not there tables help each other out for refills food drinks or anything that the customers need. Just saying has a sever my service was horrible I never complain ever until I have cause I don't complain as I work in food industry but as a corporate business you should have. Normally when we have gone for breakfast here we are very pleased. This last visit maybe our last. There was no wait this day so we thought we were at the right place at the right time. Once we walked though the door we were met with 3 staff members arguing over seating, we were told to please wait for a minute, so we did. When the argument seem to never end we were just going to leave, but was asked again to wait just a minute. When we advised we had already waited Lynn decided to sit us, she was angry flipped our menus and took are drink order. Then returned with drinks and took our order. When we finally received our food, it was cold. Not that we could find that out until a few minutes later when we had to beg for silverware. Everyone there at our past visits has been so friendly until now. Having a local business there in Brooksville makes this even sadder, as I love the home town politeness but just not today. read more
