This is a new location and they suck already. I took my mother here at 6:53pm and there was a family of four in front of us it took 7 minutes for them to be seated. The service was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We were not served for 20 minutes, and prior to that we were told that there were NO WAITRESSES which is why the wait was so long. Our "waitress" Ashley came over to the table ONE TIME to check on us, and that was once we were finished eating. The manager Mo said he would comp the bill, just to comp only ONE meal, not the entire bill. I understand it is a new business, but you need to plan better to accommodate the influx of people that you will receive, especially when school is closed and people are off because of holiday. They need more training, and more enthusiastic workers at this establishment! read more

I have been to a few I- Hop restaurants and enjoyed the food. We stopped in for brunch at the Catonsville location and it was busy with a 20 minute wait to be seated. The wait wasn't the issue it was the food, I ordered the Hawaiian Bread French toast combo meal which consisted of eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The food tasted okay but it wasn't hot it was luke warm almost cold that's what made it not enjoyable. I overheard a few customers complain about the food and coffee not being hot. The waitress was kind but overwhelmed and my daughter's food was late coming out. The sign displayed in the window was "Now Open", with a few tweeks here and there it might just stay open in the future. read more

When I arrived there wasn't a host at the door, we had to wait over 5mns before anyone helped us. The manager seated a lady went in the back and was gone 5 more minutes before seating us. I went to the location on route 40 on a Sunday. I ordered online at 11:11am and the website indicated that my food would be ready in 25 mins. I arrived at the location 35 mins later and my food was not ready. The location was packed. A gentleman informed me that they are behind and they took my name and number and said someone would call me when my order was ready. I waited until 12:05pm but no one called me. I went in and someone again tried to take my number. I informed them that someone already had and I just wanted to make sure that they at least had my order. While waiting I observed a few customers complaining about the wait time for their online order. A manager informed one of them that they misplaced their online order and another gentleman's order was ready but no one had called him to let him know. I eventually got my order at 12:50pm. The staff tried their best but I believe they need to work out a better system for their online orders or at the very least give realistic timeframes during their high traffic periods. My wife and I went to this IHOP this morning for breakfast, as usual the food is good but the wait time to be served was very poor. Two people that sat down after us but right beside us were served fairly promptly. It was probably about 10 minutes before we were served. I don't know if this was due to being short staffed or what, but this shouldn't have happened. A family was seated next to us and had to wait just as long and I could hear how upset the mother was when she asked a passing server if anyone is going to serve us. We will most likely chose another option for breakfast in the further. read more

"French Toast" Came burnt to a crisp. We could bang a fork onto it and it'd sound like I'm banging on the table. Not only was the French toast burnt but the pancakes were ice cold I had to stop eating at about 3 portions (Was cut into fours with a two stack) of the pancakes and the eggs were incredibly runny it tasted and looked like they had just used an old omelette and cut it up. The wait was very well we only had to wait about 6 minutes to be seated but the wait for the food was a whole different story. We placed our order at 11:04 and got our food back at about 11:44. Then when we asked for a box we had to wait another 12 minutes and the box never even came and we just asked for the steak to be taken away. The Cinn-a-stack was very delicious and did not disappoint and was evenly spread with its icing not too much not too little. The sirloin steak was seasoned well also. Overall the first waiting time was pleasing, the second wasn't the best but I do understand the amount of food we ordered so it's fine, Then the box wait was just frustrating. Now would I recommend is the question. My honest opinion is No. Yes the seat wait was amazing hence the amount of people who were at the establishment but the half of the food was either cooked too long or was too cold. read more

This spot has horrible customer service, we had to just leave. Ordered our drinks, then our food. We sat there for an hour but never got our food and we couldn't find our waiter. So, it was me and my family first time there and it was not so great! As soon as we got a table, noone came to us for about 10 min, along with other tables. When we did, some of the things were wanted, they didn't have: fresh strawberries, cappuccino, no coffee specials, napkins, etc to name a some. We didn't wait too long, but we noticed our whole section had one waitress and when she did bring out our food, it was for another table. As we continued to wait for our correct food, a hostess passed by and squats to the floor, picks up a glove, puts it on my table and THEN asks if it was mine. Mind you, My family and I have started eating and this woman puts a dirty glove on my table without asking first. When we tell her no, she found out it belong to the table next to ours, she hands it to them and walks away. No apologies... after getting our food, it started to get really crowdy, we overheard other patrons complaining about servic.We just boxed our things(no bag provided)waited to pay our bill. We waited for about 10-15 before anyone came back and asked if we paid our bill already. We paid our bill after about 5 more min of waiting and didn't even ask for change back, which im pretty sure the young lady needed it they way she was working so hard by herself. Never going back, horrible experience. There was no order and it seemed as if it was a child-ran business. It is 1:50 now and I've been told by two people that they were going to "go check" and never returned. The center of my stuffed fresh toast was undercooked which the server couldn't even deny. The server took it back to the kitchen and comes back with another stuffed French toast that has been MICROWAVED. The cream cheese was all the way melted, the bread was sweating starting to harden up, when I cut it, it was steaming from the middle. So I asked her was it microwaved and she said "yes, all of the stuffed French toast are put in the microwave". My first stuffed French toast wasn't microwaved. The manager even said they aren't supposed to microwave anything so the server lied to me. I had to ask for a refill but my bf didn't ask so she only brought one refill. As a fan of IHOP I have to say this is the worse experience I've ever had at an IHOP. My second time here 1st time was around 3pm and experience was normal. 2nd time was after 8pm and the entire staff was dumbfounded as to their responsibilities. The Resturant was dirty, tables were filthy, floors were slippery, waited for water for 30 minutes and cutlery for 40 minutes food was not served until an hour later by which time we were walking out the door. Waitress was not properly trained didn't know that if you don't want the meat product there is suppose to be a substitute. Coffee mug was sticky. The manager not once came to reassure us they we hadn't been forgotten! Another group came in with us and were leaving with a doggy bag with us yet we hadn't been served. I almost feel that it was do to the fact that we were noticeably "Muslims" and were being discriminated against. None of the staff wore hair nets with hair flinging all over the place! On Sunday after church, I went to this IHOP. Arrived at about 10:00. Waitress came over, and I gave her my complete order of hot tea, cold water and Rise and Shine which consist of eggs scrambled soft w/cheese; grits, sausage, and white toast. 25 minutes later, she brought me the hot tea, apologize for the wait and proceeded to bring the family that came in after me their complete meals. Came back a couple times to apologize, but still no food. After an hour, the family next to me left and I was still sipping on my tea. At which time, she came back, and said did a manager come and apologize to you for the wait ? No! A manager will be here shortly, because this is ridiculous. 10 more minutes, no manager or food. I went to ask for a manager who promptly ushered me away from the customers waiting to be seated. I told him, I had been there for 1hr and 15 minutes with no food. He apologized, the waitress apologized, everybody apologized over and over again. After 1hr and 20 minutes, they brought my food. I'd lost my appetite, so I took two bites, and ask for a box and the check. Waitress brought the box and a check for 50% off. 50% off!!It should have been free.Couldn't believe I!!Several months ago, because of a mix up, a gentlemen sitting at the table across from me received his meal free. 11:30 paid for the check, including a gratuity, and left.
