Despite of the overall review rating I had an acceptable experience at this IHOP location. I usually don't frequent IHOP but had to get breakfast in this area so I gave it a shot. It was busy so I got a table asap but I also came in at 9am. Ordered the shaolin tips with eggs, hash browns, side of pancakes and coffee. Food came out within 15min (personal standard) and everything was cooked well. Service was attentive but not overly intrusive. As far as ambiance it's a typical IHOP so I wasn't expecting much. I most likely won't come back to this location but I would say check it out if you're in the area.

Today was mommy and me Sunday!!! So the minis wanted pancakes for breakfast. IHOP is always the spot for a quick but good sit dow breakfast. Always a decently priced meal, with ordering hubbies meal to go I only paid $44.82 not bad. I love the sampler, always a favorite choice when you have no real direction for what you want. The girls got the cupcake junior meal and the happy face meal, both with apple juice. Gave 3 stars because we saw 3 couples come in after us but got food before us!! Not okay when you have children who are ready to eat. The waitress did a good job before she disappeared on us. Once the food came everyone was able to eat and be happy again. Of course we would go back, just pray that we can get our food before the kids get anhungry!

Now that Covid-19 restrictions have been removed in Prince George's County, this place will be packed with people on Sundays again. Every IHOP and Bob Evans that we have gone to on Sunday, is always packed with people in the morning. My wife and I are disappointed that IHOP pancakes have no international flavor or flair to them anymore. Yes, they have Belgium waffles and Swedish crepes; but it's not the same diverse menu as before. I remember when they did a long time ago. It made their restaurants special. We ordered carryout breakfast. The service was friendly and quick. Employees were still required by management to wear masks. We got two of the bacon lovers combos. Each combo had two fluffy buttermilk pancakes loaded with crispy hickory-smoked bacon pieces, drizzled with vanilla sauce and dulce de leche caramel sauce. Topped with a slice of candied bacon and whipped topping. Served with 2 slices of hickory-smoked bacon and 2 eggs. Available all-day Monday through Friday for a limited time. It came in very nice plastic containers. Each container had an upper and lower section. This kept the pancakes and candied bacon separated from the eggs and smoked bacon. Well, we didn't get any vanilla or caramel sauce and we didn't get whipped topping. Whipped topping means fake whipped cream. We did get butter and syrup. It was just as well because the pancakes were slightly sweet anyway which balanced nicely with the slight saltiness of the bacon. Adding a bunch of sweet sauce and whipped topping would have made it overly sweet. The pancakes were great tasting with the bacon inside. The candied bacon on top was only slightly sweet. Other than that, it tasted like regular bacon. We ordered the eggs over-easy and they were cooked correctly. The eggs and smoked bacon were prepared very well and tasted very good. This place makes basic American breakfasts very well, so if that is what you're looking for, then you should come here.

It Never Fails. Its Almost Like They Know They Suck And Move Accordingly. I Have Never Seen An Establishment So Ghetto And Unprofessional In My Life. Consistency Is Key And They Have It Down Packed. I Literally Only Crave iHop Once Every 3 Months And Like Clock Work They Are Understaffed And Constantly Busy. So I Decide I'll Just Call In My Order Today And Bam Almost 30 Minutes On Hold. Please Do Better. This Is Embarrassing

Every time I go here they are disappointing. Nothing ever looks near the pictures unless you eat inside. It looks like they don't even try smh.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and for many reasons this is not one of my favs. For reasons I believed that I would be able to get my birthday pancakes today I was DENIED! Apparently I had to get an email to receive pancakes! What a bait and switch. My dad got his Senior 10% off and gave me his pancakes out of sympathy. The waitstaff offered me a free coco and ice cream and was very apologetic for the misunderstanding. So if your expectations are to receive anything from this place lower them. But what can you expect from an establishment that cant even decide on a permanent name change.

First, let me say I like this place. However, I've only done carryout. It's always clean and homesome. One night I stumbled upon a book club meeting in the restaurant. Local poets/writers were sharing their work which was quite impressive. The food is consistently decent and seemingly fresh. I particularly like the catfish and greens. And now it's the greens that I want to address. You get a very small portion as a side dish. I think it's $8. At least twice I've witnessed the person preparing the greens to-go realize they needed to put more greens and less juice. Well today topped any other day as far as the portion of greens I received with my dinner. In the attached pics, it's a large piece of skin that came out of the small container of greens and a picture of what was left once it was removed. That's it. That's the review. Smh

Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with the food quality. The chicken wingettes were burnt, and the crab hash was overwhelmingly covered in Old Bay seasoning. I frequent M&H often, but this was by far the worst experience I've had, especially considering the price point. Had I not been rushing, already home and between meetings, I would have returned the entire order.

First Fridays are clearly a big deal there because the place was packed, the Gogo band was good, and the atmosphere was fun. I ended up sitting at the bar instead of getting a table and ordered a drink for myself, a drink for my cousin, and some shrimp. The food and drinks were actually good, so I can definitely see why people like coming here. What frustrated me was the pricing and gratuity situation. After looking at the menu, I saw it mentioned a 20% gratuity for parties of four or more, so I didn't think that applied to me since I was sitting at the bar with no table. I even asked the waitress if I could order food at the bar and she said yes, but nobody explained there would still be an automatic gratuity added. The drinks were $12 each and the bang bang shrimp were $13, so I was confused when my total came out to almost $50 and not realizing I added additional to the tip. I had to ask for the receipt multiple times before I finally saw the gratuity charge unbeknownst to me. I think the restaurant/menu needs to be a lot more upfront and clear about when gratuity is automatically added... and that's whether it's for First Fridays, live bands, bar service, or anything else. Being surprised by service fees, automatic gratuity or any hidden fee not clearly mentioned, for me, can leave a bad impression even when the food and atmosphere are good. As a small business, there are already stereotypes and complaints people make about hidden fees and pricing, and situations like this unfortunately don't help that narrative. With that said, I still plan to come back because I genuinely enjoyed the music, food, and overall vibe. I just wish the pricing and gratuity policies were communicated more clearly from the beginning... especially in this economy!

We entered, admired the artwork around the room and were seated immediately to talk further what we liked about it. We were first greeted by our server Tess, who introduced herself & gave us menus. We searched a little, of course hawk-eyed other tables to see what others ordered... and Tess came back a few minutes later to take our drink orders. We got some waters, iced tea, lavender lemonades, and a mimosa flight for the table... but for a Sunday (what I would expect to be a busy day; a day of POST-prep) we received not 1 but 2 dirty glasses that we had to send back. Additionally, it took us over 20 minutes to get not one the flight but the simple nonalcoholic lavender lemonade to the table and was never told what the delay was about. The owner Tiess (I hope I spelled that right) did walk around with a smile, and to greet the table. All tables, and that is always appreciated and noticed by me. We did express to her our concerns and she did ensure us that we'd be taken care of. Tess grabs our orders and later our food comes out. I have been to Milk & Honey before in Bowie, and I say that because I don't remember their menu being so "busy". The grits and fried green tomatoes as an example of said "busy" items. Overall, the food was okay. Their potatoes were overcooked said 1-party, while as previously stated, another party said their grits and the fried green tomatoes were too busy. Not that it was good or bad, just... busy. Too much going on. I personally had the whiting and it was the star of the meal. My side of (plain ol) grits came out and I appreciated them being plain....they were just cold. So... 3 it is. Last few things : 1. Please note that there is a 1.5hour wait time. 2. There is a dj. 3. There is outside covered seating available, overlooking part of the upcoming surrounding shopping center and parking lot. 4. An 18% gratuity is entered for orders over $150.

Every Shipley's I've visited always gave you hot kolaches and warm glazed donuts that literally melt in your mouth. At this location, this was not the case. The kolache was barely warm which made it nearly impossible to eat since the cheese was not melty and the sausage was cold inside. The glazed donut was not fresh at all. Rotating specials on various days and overall, my portion vs price paid was generous. The guy working was doing it all solo since his co-worker left and didn't tell him. I was in no hurry and he was quite efficient in handling walk in customers and their drive thru window. Of note, if you don't ask for cutlery or condiments, it's understood that you didn't want them. He was pleasant and didn't do much talking because he was working. They have canned soft drinks, from a dispenser lemonade, sweet tea and are happy to make it a half and half. I got sweet tea and it had a weird taste. This made me think that it's from a mix and not brewed. I didn't event drink it all because the taste was off-putting. I went with the turkey wings, collard greens and sweet potatoes. Thank goodness the sweet potatoes weren't overly sweetened. The turkey wings weren't as tender as mine and needed some attention to detail to remove the small remnants of feathers. The greens had to much stalk and were not from a can. Seasoning on the food was to my liking, but not overdone. My friend had a taste for fish and went with the 2 piece catfish combo. The fish was fried to order and was piping hot when she sat down to eat. Their sides were macaroni and cheese and collard greens. They enjoyed their food but the mac and cheese had a "made with liquid cheese" vibe to it and thats what made me not select it.
