IHOP was NOT busy this morning so we thought we'd give it a second chance. The waitress was not great but she was young so we made an allowance for that. The food was not great. My husband said his was terrible. We had to ask for more gravy since it didn't cover the biscuits (which looked like they had been toasted and mashed on the grill) & when I ordered I asked for extra sauce for my omelet & had to ask again. The worst part was the fact that the restaurant WASNT BUSY & our food was NOT hot when we got it. SAME COOK & I ordered the same omelet. Pancakes didn't have enough butter were they cold too. We ate breakfast there this morning. The coffee pot sitting on our table was disgusting and very dirty. We had no intention of having any coffee anyway. I did take a picture just to show how bad it was. Also, when I unrolled my silverware it was dirty. I'm glad there was another set on the table to use. The food was not too good either. Over medium eggs, had whites not cooked and the bacon was not cooked all the way. The pancakes seemed to have been under a heated light because they were tough. I used my knife to cut them. I do not recommend this place at all. Lots of employees standing around, so there was no reason for uncleanliness. read more

When we got here they did have several people in the place but we've never had any issues so though nothing of it. We ordered our food shortly after sitting and this began the long wait. For reference we had 2 kids French toast a spinach comment and the 2x2x2. After 30 minutes they told us ours was next. 15 minutes later they again said ours was the next out. 15 more minutes later (1our total) they again said ours was next. After another 15 minutes we told them to cancel the order as we had been waiting over an hour. All the waitress had to say was I've been telling them I need my food for this table. What a joke. If you don't mind coming in during breakfast time and getting your food by dinner time this is the place for you. Just another establishment ruined by the lack of work ethic in Clovis. I have read through the reviews and i genuinely have no idea what people are talking about. When me and my partner walked in it took less than 60 seconds for us to get seated and have the waitress introduce herself. Ginger is a wonderfully accommodating!! She was always there when we needed her and she got our drinks right out to us almost as soon as we sat down!! She delivered our food so fast it only took about 5-10 minutes?? Chad was our cook and he came out to ask if everything was alright and I said no it was GREAT!! I quite literally never finish all of my food and I ate ALL of my two plates and some of my partners as well. I usually like IHOP for a decent quick breakfast but my experience in the Clovis NM IHOP was less than ideal. I ordered coffee, when the server brought the coffee pot he was carrying it under his arm, and the spout was literally in his arm pit (gross). he then comes out of the kitchen and wipes his nose first in his hand and then on his shirt . I order the Eggs Benedict, my usual favorite as I love poached eggs. when the order came I was surprised to see fried eggs and not poached. I didn't say anything, it took quite a while to get our food and I didn't want the friends I was with to have to wait for me. We were very excited after calling all over Clovis for a restaurant that had a Turkey dinner to no avail, to find IHOP, the pancake house. No dressing is the only negative but otherwise their dinner looks delicious! And they even had cranberry sauce. They made our day given that today is Canadian Thanksgiving (and we have Canadian roots!). Let me start of off with saying this review is mainly based off the food since I always typically get take out and never really dine in at least once or twice a month. My usual is the pablano omolette without the serrano peppers because the pepper is too spicy for my taste. I have always asked for more pablano/hollandaise sauce because that's what makes the meal in my opinion. Today, I received the omolettes with either little to no sauce, which didn't make it as enjoyable. Id give it a 1.5 stars without it, but at least 4 stars with the sauce. So I just averaged it to 3 stars for the review. Given that this is the first time I came into IHOP not allowing customers to enter the store, you can just call them and they deliver it to you once they ask for your vehicle description. What confused me was that they said they would charge me a dollar for the extra sauce over the phone, as opposed to them just giving it to me for free when i ask in person. My wife mentioned they do actually charge only 25 cents each per small cup. For future reference, I will always buy extra sauce since what I had today left me unsatisfied and disappointed compared to how they typically serve my food. P.s. Started last night when we came in wee hours and the service was horrible. I was asked if I wanted the managers number and if he was cute. Terrible service. The waitress was very inattentive, never checked up on us and bad attitude. She even went as far as giving us a dirty cup of coffee with someone's old lipstick on it. We waited for our food to arrive for over and hour, before we decided to leave. Several other tables received their food before we did, even though we were there long before. Since we were sitting near the kitchen we were able to see the kitchen full of plates that were ready to be taken to their tables just sitting their for long periods of time. Best experience so far at IHOP for a Saturday morning. The wait was about 30 minutes to get seated. The server was nice and reached our table quickly. Drinks arrived and she checked on us though out the meal. The food arrived cooked thoroughly and tasted as good as expected. They would receive 5 stars if tables could be cleared more quickly so other families could be seated and served. read more

bro i can't even begin to explain how awful this place was. server brought out dirty coffee cups & when we asked for clean ones she acted like we just insulted her entire bloodline. also wanted a milkshake but they were out of ice cream (a girl near me also asked for one & was like "yall are always out of f*cking ice cream wtf" so clearly it's a problem. they didn't have their vegetarian option, their "gluten free" pancakes are not gluten free (99% sure they used regular batter) & a note for the manager: do better. cross contamination can kill someone with a gluten allergy. then the servers started stacking 2 tables one one & if anyone had bumped into that the baby next to those tables would have been literally killed or severely injured. The amount of OSHA violations, food safety violations & more was absolutely sickening. i mean it when i say i have never seen such a disgusting restaurant in my life MY SHOES STUCK TO THE FLOOR!!!!! Whoever runs this place needs to be fired immediately, go back to school, & learn how to run a restaurant. Now I wasn't expecting 5-star service from an IHOP but this has to be the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Like genuinely. What a great place to eat. The service was friendly and fast. Although the pancake maker was slow but we did get pancakes in the end so alls we'll. In terms of COVID precautions, all the staff were wearing masks and they have sheets up separating the booths. IHOPe to eat here again haha read more

Service was not good as I had to ask for missing pancakes three times which kept getting forgotten about.

There was no wait to be seated however, the wait to receive our food was 50 minutes. The manager should consider coming around to tables to let them know there is such a wait. Our server was sweet and attentive she wore a wait short so I assume she is new or in training. The serving staff was all women and all you could hear was bickering. This was our fourth time dining and I give them a 3/5 rating because there has always been some sort of wait except in the past it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. I understand there may be struggles due to low staffing but manager at least visit your tables and secondly don't air your dirty laundry and frustrations were parties can hear. read more

I called the Clovis, NM IHOP as I wanted to place a to go order for a salad. I ordered a grilled chicken and vegetable salad and said no onions and no mushrooms. When I got my salad (thank goodness I looked at it prior to leaving restaurant) there were onions and mushrooms on the top of my salad. I told the person helping me and I was told they would make it right. I waited about 15 minutes and when I looked at the replacement salad there indeed was no onions or mushrooms. When I got home and opened up the salad prior to eating there was lettuce, one very small slice of tomato, there was no avocado (salad comes with it), and the chicken was very dry. I will not be eating at this IHOP again. read more
