Service was slow. I paid my bill with cash and the waiter did not bring back my change!

Came meet my mom and nieces at this ihop location. They got there before me so they had already ordered and got their food. I sat down for about 5 minutes and no return of waitress. Finally we flagged her down & she walked over to the table one the IHOP phone taking a to go order and said "hold up". About 5 minutes after that, she came back and took my order. Food was quick to come out. The server came back and asked for my drink order. The onion rings were very good. The chicken and buffalo sauce was good too, but I wasn't a fan of the bread. After we were done, we asked for the check. The waitress came drop it off. We paid in cash & left a tip. When she came grab the book, she didn't say anything. No "thank you" or "have a nice day". I guess we all know you don't return to IHOP for the service! read more

The sign outside is already off-putting because it is so dirty and the restroom was the same. Disgusting black stuff stuck on the sides of the toilet I used. Looked like it had never been cleaned. The first time I came here, they were out of several items, but my food was good and came in a timely manner. My mother said her food was good, but the cake tasted like it was sitting out for days. The second time, however was unforgivable. The waitress was really nice, but my omelet has several eggshells in it and I grad to order another one. I don't understand how you could make the omelet and not realize that quantity of eggshells was in it. They gave me a new omelet very quickly, and that one was good, and they apologized and came to check on us frequently after that. read more

My experience was horrible. Our waitress was awful. I asked for Diet Coke was told we only have Pepsi. That's a hard No. then asked for sweet tea. Again, they didn't have any tea made (god forbid they start a pot). Food was nasty. Ordered the spinach omelette. No spinach. No cheese.Went to pay and our waitress said there was no change in the cash register. I dug in my purse until I found the exact change because I wasn't going to let her have an extra "tip". We stopped here because Cracker Barrel didn't open for breakfast until 7 am for some reason. Turns out it was way better than Cracker Barrel. I had the thres leches pancakes which were amazing and my wife had the bacon, egg and cheese crepes that were even better. The server was very attentive and the food came out fast and hot. I ordered doordash and there was a staple on the pancake I called and they were very nice and offered to replace the pancakes and the rest of the food was really good. I'm sure it's just an honest mistake me and my boyfriend thought it was kinda funny. While on a drive looking for dinner after hurricane zeta everything was closed. My boyfriend and I were devestated. After having no hop we spotted the lights on at ihop and were shooked. It was our savior. We walked in and Alisha D was pretty much running the whole place by herself. Although it started to get a little busier she was on top of it . Okay so we have been driving all night from Florida heading home and decide we want to eat a sit down breakfast because gas stations and fast food are going to be the death of us. We stop on at IHOP there in Hammond. We go in and we are greeted right away the hostess/waitress was kind and did a fine job servicing us. However IHOP you should be freaking ashamed of yourself! It should not cost a family of three almost $60 not including tip to eat breakfast!!! WTF!!! We didn't order steak and eggs and appetizers or even cokes. My husband had coffee biscuits and gravy. I had coffee and the 2+2+2 special. Our daughter ordered waffles and a hot chocolate. I get my plate and I have a slice of cheese thrown on my eggs not melted by the way ($2.19) for a slice of freaking cheese!!!! You had nasty and uncleared restrooms with NO TOILET PAPER IN AMY STALLS. I had to use paper towels. You have the nerve to charge me $60 for my simple meal? The only thing I didn't like was having to drive around the whole place to find the drive. All 4 sides were on the streets, only one had a drive into the place. I drove around the whole place before finding the drive. Newish place, clean and nice. Jacob C seated us immediately, was attentive, and pleasant. Food came out pretty fast, fresh and cooked perfectly. Eggs moist, bacon crisp and delicious, hash towns crisp on outside and fluffy inside, pancake fluffy and tasty. The little piece of ham was very salty, the sausage link okay. My husband ate those two things for me. His waffle was like a picture and very good. His eggs and bacon, perfect too. I'm here on business, I came to this ihop because it's near my hotel. The server was nice and polite, the speed of my order was quick, I had no complaint towards my server. The food was the down side the, first the sweet cream crepes not worth 9 bucks for me, second the sweet cream was super sweet! It was way too sweet, each bite I had to drink water with it. The the crepes were served on a huge plate making it look like the ingredients were rationed to a minimum. The coffee and the grapefruit juice was decent. The table next to me was dirty but the server noticed it and cleaned it right away which is a good thing that she took care of it right away, The place was completely empty, hardly anyone in there making you wonder if people dislike the location. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. I have tried to patronize this restaurant three times and have yet to be served. Waited 30 minutes this time, there were only four other tables in the restaurant, three of them already had their food - there was no reason we weren't even acknowledged, let alone asked about our order - this place is absolutely abysmal and should hang their heads in shame. Hopefully they will close and someone who actually wants to serve customers will open there and hire a manager who is not such a failure. read more

We were traveling through the area and this was one of the few places open at the time of day we were in the area. My plate, chicken fried steak, was OVER COOKED and tasteless. The eggs, had better, and the gravy not enough to cover the steak. At least the grits were good. The other 3 in our group had similar experience. They really did not like the food at all. All of us had upset stomachs the rest of the night as we continued to drive to FL. Such poor service today. Hashbrowns were soggy and pork chops over-cooked. Our server seemed very agitated and just put the food on the table without a word. When asked for a crispier order of hashbrowns she walked away with an attitude and we could hear her mocking us in the kitchen. Then it arrived so late as well and she threw it on the table! Waitress was nice but service was horrible. She forgot our drink and food orders. We had to ask for straws. After we got our food we had to ask for silverware. No one in my party got exactly what they ordered. The waitress asked my son if he would like a sprite because she made another kid the wrong drink. He said yes and she charged us $2.19 for it even though his meal would have come with one included. National pancake day was a rip off!! We had to pay for pancakes and they gave us a coupon to come back another day for pancakes. Everyone didn't get one though, just adults. read more

Someone say down and ended up leaving because it took her so long to get helped. Also, one of the other waitresses had messed up a tables order, but charged them for the screwed up order and regular order. Super long wait!!! We were annoyed by the fact that it took an hour an hour for breakfast. No star if i had an option because server he seemed to be on something else. We let manager know about the delay 3 times(no kidding). Finally food came and he messed up on our order. That was it. We left but still paid for the food. Poor poor customer service!! It was cold , the eggs were raw, the pancake tasted like it had been cooked several days earlier cold and tough. Coffee was like water horrible. Waiter took food back to kitchen when I was able to catch him. He brought it back and ask me if that was better. Well no it wasn't the same pancakes were still cold and tough, bacon was half raw, the eggs were and inch from being burnt, I took a picture of the food. Instead of not charging me for the lousy food they charged me ten dollars, for small oj and one cup coffee. I will never ever go to this IHOP again. I think Waffle House would have been better. Not sure why the reviews are so bad at this place? Out of town for a baseball tournament and stopped here with a large group of people. We were seated right beside the restrooms and no one in them group smelled anything gross?? We were seated quickly, our orders were taken fast, the food was very good and the place was very clean.
