We rarely go to this IHOP because its sooo slow we don't usually have the time. Even though they weren't extremely busy, with plenty of empty tables, today was no different. Actually, it was worse. Server was Chris. Personality was pleasant enough, I guess, but he was hurried and forgetful. It took 15 minutes just to get four drinks. I finally had to walk around to find sugar for my coffee after asking him twice. It took forty (40!) minutes to get eggs (omelette), beacon and pancakes. He brought the food without the side of toast. Asked for toast again; never did get it. I had him take the forgotten toast off the bill. We usually tip at least 25%, we were nice enough to give him 10%. I'm giving one star for the cook! The food was good. read more

honestly have no words for how bad our waitress was.... before i get to the bad news let me just say the food was so good i had to go 90 mph on a 45 mph highway to get home and to the bathroom (paint came off the walls it was so stinky, that's when you know it's good) but to the bad news! so my waitress literally told me to take my food and she dropped it in my arms and walked off, my first thought was, "your the waitress not me so you give me my food" y'all are lucky i didn't say anything.. then later my waitress ignores me and my friends refill requests 3 times so we had to get an AMAZING 'waiter' to help us with this while he was helping 5 other families that had the same waitress as us! literally so mad right now never coming back by the way would not recommend if i'm hurry 2 hour waits ARE NOT fun! read more

My family and I went in to eat at the IHOP in Hammond. Was looking forward to just eating dinner and leaving. Our server Jennifer was the best part of the service. The food was great but the service that jennifer gave us was outstanding. In all my life I have never had such great service. The food is bland. Had to add salt and pepper for taste. And the service is slow and or waitress seems in a hurry almost to the point where you almost hate to ask. The coffee tasted stale and old. We fit the wing type bread. Overall, it's just not worth repeating. read more

The server that assisted me offered great service, but I could not get passed the very unprofessional demeanor of the staff. Profane language was used in every statement. Should never have to smell urine from the bathroom while you eat at a restaurant, and it's the kind of odor that comes from not cleaning it for a few days. Another customer happened to mention something about the odor and asked to move to a different section, and the waitress actually said, "Oh, someone must have just used it, that's why." read more

My family and I went for breakfast at IHOP this morning. We waited forever for our food, then when it finally came out they didn't bring everything. I had ordered cheese grits, plus I had extra toppings of hair in them...gross!!!! Let me add that I am pregnant, and I was craving IHOP for awhile....needless to say I will never be going back!!! The last time I went to this IHOP reminded me of the reason I quit going to eat there in the first place. Despite the seemingly large staff, the service was very, very slow. My bacon, when it finally came out, was so crispy that I couldn't even use a fork to eat it. My husband's steak was mediocre, fatty, and overcooked. Our waitress seemed indifferent and didn't even let us finish our meal before bringing us our check. I will stick to the Iron Skillet the next time I want a large breakfast. 2 families arrived 15 minutes after we did, but both received their orders long before the 3 of us. When we did receive our food they brought our orders 1 at a time 5 minutes apart. The place only had 5 different families at the time, they were not busy at all. What should have taken at most an hour for a meal took almost 2 hours for 3 simple everyday meals. read more

This place was the worst by far and im not exaggerating. For starters we ordered two sweet teas. About ten minutes goes by and a lady comes out and says im sorry the tea very badly needs to be remade it will take 7 to 8 minutes. In between times we over hear the waitress and kitchen staff arguing over something. One of them even stated " i gotta go i got stuff to do, i aint got time for this". Everyone in the restaurant was staring. There were only about 10 customers so you could hear everything. Can you believe that we finished our food and our teas never came out.
