Buffalo Wings & Loaded Cheese Fries (extra Ranch)

Great menu. Some of the best wings in the city. The sitting areas and restaurant placement is absolutely perfection. The service however, is on the low end. Constantly telling them when refills are needed + takes forever to do everything.

The service was ok. I got the wings and I asked for them to be extra crispy, they were not. I've heard good reviews about the wings but I wasn't a fan. I liked how casual the experience was. My drink was great!

Came down to Hammond to give this place a try and minus the parallel parking which I suck at it was all good! We came in and told to sit ourselves and the waitress came over and got us rollin. I can tell this place has a mix of audience the college students and the locals. I liked this because it means they can pull a crowd in. We sat inside which was kind of dark(wish they had a little more light) but they also have a patio option that looks more updated. Overall to the food- the wings are delicious- the pork chop was super tender and really good- the chicken sandwich (which apparently is really well known) was a hit with my hubs. We happened to come on wing Wednesday which is currently a dozen wings for 10. Drinks were ok from the bar but I'll be back bc their the first I've seen to serve cocktails by the pitcher so I'll try something different on my next go. Overall this place is good to get a bite to eat and open late which is a plus.

Burnt bun and hamburger with hair
    Sheri C.

We gave them another chance and the failed miserably. Hair in the food, watered down drinks and in addition the hair, the bun and hamburger were a little burnt. They brought out one item at a time(10-15 minutes between each). Oh and they didnt have a key to the pool table that wasnt working right which was the main reason we went there again. It was freezing the entire couple of hours we were there. Just bad all around.

    Tin to Table (Seacuterie Board)

Something I just noticed on the menu under Appetizers. The side items are bar nibbles, olives, pickles, and picked pearl onions. The sauces are a mayonnaise tangy and chili pepper oil. The only item that didn't fit the menu description is the crackers. It was noted that they are homemade. Not exactly. They are deep-fried saltine crackers. If the meat is oil, having fried crackers is not the best accompanying. You can pick from 6 different canned seafood items. Pictured is the clams (not open) and octopus (opened). If the crackers were regular, this would have been 5 stars.

Food is just not great. Music is good and vibe is okay if you like a bar. The staff was great

Build your own Bloody Mary choices

Tried the new weekend brunch finally - really liked the build your own Bloody Mary option. Will definitely be back to try some of the other brunch menu items, opted for the Kickin' Chicken Biscuit with the poached egg this time. It was yummy and the egg was perfectly runny - need some jelly for the second half of the biscuit however.

    Pitcher of the Classic Margarita
    Valarie M.

Decided to sit at the bar and grab a drink and a bite to eat. I recommend the pitcher of margarita and the Fried chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce is so creamy and a MUST TRY! Couldn't get a picture of the salad that came with the pasta because I ate it before I could get a picture. Ranch dressing is *chefs kiss* AMAZING!! Thank you Brittany for making my experience well worth it! She was super helpful while I was trying to decide what I wanted to drink/eat and I will definitely be returning!

Located in the downtown area of Hammond, this may be my favorite restaurant in the area and for good reason! The interior has the right amount of lighting to give an intimate feel and there's plenty of indoor seating where tables can be pushed together for large parties. The bar area is also comfy if you're looking to pop in for a glass of wine or a cocktail. Speaking of which, there's plenty of wine by the glass and featured bottle wines. It doesn't have as expansive of a bottle wine menu like other Italian spots but they don't need to as they offer about a dozen wines each from the USA and from the Italy/Spain/Argentina regions. So you'll find whatever you need to suit your tastes. And then there's cocktails. All the classics (Cosmopolitan, Manhattan, Old Fashioned) are here with some Italian favorites like the Negroni. The popular ones amongst us were the Limoncello Spritz (think of a vodka sparkling lemonade), the Espresso Martini, and the Basil Cucumber Gimlet. Tasty and pretty presentations! As for eats, the shareables that are must-orders are the Italian Meatballs (served in polenta w/ spicy tomato sauce), the Calamari, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Caprese Salad. These always made the table whenever we were here; the meatballs and brussels sprouts being the ones people couldn't stop eating. The turtle soup is also a good first course if you're going light. It was my first time having turtle soup and I enjoyed the heck out of it! For pastas/entrees, it depends how heavy you want to go. The pastas that we loved were the Fusilli and Casarecce. The Fusilli has a cajun spicy tomato base w/ shrimp, italian sausage, basil, and mushrooms; an excellent combination of ingredients for a delicious pasta dish. The Casarecce is more simple using a parmeson garlic cream sauce and a pan-fried breaded chicken breast on top. For entrees, the pork osso buco, duck breast, and diver scallops were all wonderful. The osso buco especially being super tender was a crowd-pleaser. They also have a filet mignon special w/ a fried potato cake and asparagus garnish finished in a red-wine demi glaze; this special was ordered by several people each time and had all of us oohhh'ing and ahhh'ing every time it was delivered. The filet is super tender and the potato cake is a great complimentary side to it. For dessert, we usually share the house cheesecake which has chocolate chips and caramel with a cookie crust; a perfect way to finish off the meal. That's if we save room for dessert! This spot is a must-visit and a place we plan to frequent whenever we're in Hammond. They also have a lot of gluten-free options in case you have a gluten intolerance. Do yourself a favor and check this spot out; you won't regret it!

The location appears old and out of date, especially the bathroom (I can only speak for one of those), which is in serious need of repair and updating. It looks dark and dingy. Service was EXTREMELY slow, especially considering that it was far from crowded. Took 19 minutes to get water. The location was also quite warm inside. Which wasn't a great feeling in Louisiana Summer. Our Server came by and promised us pre-meal rolls twice, but after almost 30 minutes we assumed they would not come. And we weren't sure if our meals would come either. Salad arrived with stale croutons and was something o could have passed on to be honest. After roughly 40 minutes the rolls were literally dropped on the table and our Server almost sprinted away lol, I promise you I'm not kidding! The rolls were hot but had no taste at all, even with the butter & cinnamon spread. (It couldn't have been butter) We were now at 55 minutes and still didn't have our meals (2 burgers and chopped steak). Again, the place was not crowded. I wanted to leave, but the we were still charging the car, so we continued to just wait. A couple of people across from us appeared frustrated also, calling out to the Server at another location to ask for a box and their bill. After we passed the hour mark and still had no food, we contacted the manager and asked to pay for our rolls and the one salad, and we'd be leaving. He had just arrived and apologized profusely. He was very nice and wouldn't allow us to pay. We left. Sorry to not have a nicer review.

Having lived in Austin and being obsessed with BBQ I'd call myself a little bit of a BBQ perfectionist. Anyone who has done it themselves knows to get it right you can't rush it, takes good prep, cooking process, and resting/proper finishing. My buddy and I stopped in here one Saturday for lunch and decided to split an order of Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and a sampler platter. The eggrolls were solid and came with a cheese dipping sauce. There were 3 of these that were cut in half so really enough for 3-4 people to get a taste. The sampler platter came with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork with 2 sides. We got the beans and corn pudding. The corn pudding is a misnomer as this is really cornbread. Still good though. The meats were all pretty good with the brisket being better than I expected. Their sauces were not my favorite. I think one had some sort of blackberry flavor, but I could have that wrong. It was a little odd, we were the only customers in the restaurant the entire time we were there! Yes, it was Easter weekend, but it just felt odd at 7:00 on a Saturday night and we were the only ones there. Any way...we get seated at our table and ordered crab cakes for an appetizer. For the price, we were expecting more than one tiny crab cake. It was just ok. We were served bread with their signature flavored butter which was good. For dinner I ordered the filet cooked medium and my husband ordered the trout special. My steak was decent, slightly undercooked for my liking, but good flavor. My husband's trout was the smallest piece of fish I've ever seen on someone's plate at a restaurant. He enjoyed it but was still hungry after his meal. We opted not to get dessert since we were the only customers in the restaurant we felt like the staff were waiting for us to leave. That may not have been the case but that's how we felt. Maybe we picked a bad time to try this restaurant so we will give them another try. I would say this a great place for a special occasion if you're looking for ambience. I wouldn't go there with expectations of great food.
