Yum! I love IHOP... but this has to be the best one I have ever been too. I came here the first time because I was doing a shopping trip into Lima. Besides a previous excursion to hire a flooring contractor, this was my first foray into the area. This IHOP was perfectly located near the stores I needed to go to and I said, why not I could use some breakfast. No wait for a table. Friendly waitresses. And the food was delicious and piping hot. The coffee woke me up. Yes! I was definitely pleased! The service was good but the restaurant was so uncleanly, from our table you could see the kitchen looking like they haven't mopped or sanitized anything in years. And the food was awful the milk tasted like powder, the sausage was a consistency of a gummy, the only decent thing was the pancakes. And to top it off you could hear the workers in the kitchen screaming and arguing with each other. read more

I've had good experiences here the few times I've been. The service has always been good and friendly. There's never a wait for a seat (though admittedly I've only been for dinner, not breakfast), and it seems clean. The food is good. I am vegetarian and like that the menu specifies vegetarian items with a green V, which is very helpful and one of the reasons I come here instead of Bob Evans. I like that there is a wide variety on the menu. Also, while there are a ton of sugary desserty options, there are also plenty of options for a healthy meal, with protein pancakes for example. I would recommend it, but not quite at five stars -- for example, the fruit cup wasn't totally fresh, and one time my dinner mate ordered a side of hash browns, which they put on my plate by mistake -- when they brought the plates they explained the error right away but they expected us to use our forks to transfer the hash browns to her plate instead of just getting us another order of them. The French toast was not done. While I was waiting, there was a pregnant waitress talking to the cook for about 20 minutes saying how hungry her and her baby were. Was this a distraction? It did bother me hearing the loud conversation. There didn't appear to be any supervision or management in the restaurant. I waitress did a good job. The waitress said she would give the information to the cook, but doubt that he would actually listen to her. If supervision or management would've talked to me, I probably would not have posted this. read more

I enjoy IHOP but this location could be better. The staff is usually friendly enough and the food is alright. The setup is weird and I feel like I'm in everyone's business. No real privacy when eating. The prices can be a little pricey. I took three people last time I went and ended up with a bill totaling around $60 (before tip) and we all had water. Not a regular place I can afford to go to. read more

Had breakfast at this IHOP today & was beyond disappointed & felt somewhat embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for the staff that felt it was appropriate to serve this "sausage " ( see photo, that's what they said it was?). But not to mislead anyone when we mentioned the condition of "sausage " & the fact that they didn't have cheesecake topping for the CHEESECAKE maple pancakes (which we weren't made aware of until the CHEESECAKELESS maple pancakes were brought out they did adjust my bill $1.35. So that's the reason I gave 1star (& BECAUSE 0 STARS IS NOT AN OPTION) I could go on about much more that was wrong with this experience but why cause the response from other poor reviews is pretty much a standard answer & doubtful if any real action follows it. read more

First time I ate here in about a decade and I will never go back again. The manager who took our food order was rude. I placed a to go order for my dad and we was there until like 10mins before they closed, we waited almost an hour to get my dad's to go order that they never even attempted to make. Got refunded luckily but also we had to wait longer because this other table was having a bunch of problems from the same manager and they left without getting their food. Which I don't blame them honestly. Never going here again, I guess I'll be sticking to Waffle House lol read more

Let me preface this review by saying I believe customer service is just as important as the food. With that said, my family and I traveled to the closest IHOP which is about a 40 minutes drive. We walked in and there was no one there to greet us. We stood there for a good 7 minutes before we were acknowledged. The restaurant had about 3 maybe 4 tables filled with patrons yet the excuse we were given for the wait was "we're very busy". We were seated at a dirty table. He took our drink order. Waiter came back with what I can only describe as to-go cups. You know, the paper cups kids get with a plastic lid on top. The other tables all had glass drinking glasses. He took our order. I specifically ordered a breakfast combo meal but asked for the cinnamon pancakes instead of the buttermilk. Food was brought out within 20 minutes. No real issue there. When we got our bill though I noticed the waiter charged us for 5 meals instead of 4. He had charged us for a cinnamon pancake meal when I had ordered just a substitute for the buttermilk pancakes. Anyway, he did take them off our bill, thankfully with no trouble. But had I not looked at the bill I would have spent an additional $10.00. I am writing this review after having breakfast at our local I-HOP restaurant. The Special this month is 4-" Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake Pancakes Combo for $11.99. Our waitress stated that they were out of the Cheesecake part. We decided to get it anyway.My one friend ordered first ,she got the 4- Maple Pumpkin Pancakes combo-scrambled eggs, 2- sausage links and the hash browns. Then I ordered 2- " Maple Pumpkin Pancakes and combo , 2-sausage links ,scrambled eggs with onions and cheese in the eggs and hash browns with onions in them. our drinks was coffee. our other friend ordered her breakfast different from ours. She asked was there a charge for the extra onions, waitress stated $1.99 . Received our meal and we said to the server that the sausage looked like it had been freezer burn,it was not appetizing at all ,the casing was half off and the shape of it was Strange looking. We did not eat it at all. Received our bill . We had separate bills and we each was charged $3.29 for the coffee ,$ 1.99 for the onions and the cheese I got charged $2.98. My and my brother went there for a nice meal because we saw they had a minions menu. So, we went there after we saw the new minions movie and we got the drinks and food ordered. But we did not get our drinks until the manager come by and asked if we needed anything, like drinks and my brother said "yes! we ordered drinks but we never got them." We went here for dinner and the food was great. It took a little longer than expected for just 3 people. Might be a little overstaffed because we had one waitress take our orders, and half way through our meal, a different waitress asked us if we needed refills. And right after, our first waitress asked us if we needed refills. So we ended up with 2 more of the same drink. Before we were about to pay, a different waitress asked us if we needed any thing, but we said no. Overall it was a good meal. read more

Sunday lunch, the place was packed. Service was a little slow, the AC was definitely too high, but the food was mmmmm-good! My husband got the chorizo omelet, which was spicy enough to have him blowing his nose (that's a good sign!). I got the spinach & mushroom omelet, good but needed salt. My kid got pancakes with raspberry and peaches. I *need* that raspberry sauce recipe! It was 'spensive, as IHOP tends to be, but we were well nourished when we left, without that whole "omg I just ate a bunch of horrible food and feel like crap now" feeling. Me and my husband went here to eat. Wasn't busy seated fairly fast. Waiter came and took our drink orders and then our food orders. After about half hour we noticed the tables around us, who arrived after us, we're receiving there food. The waiter came over and apologized said he wasn't sure what happened in kitchen and he doesn't know why they received their food first. Our food would be out shortly. We said that's fine and continued to wait. About 40 mind later I finally walked up to where they put in the orders and let our waiter know to go ahead and cancel our food we would be leaving that over an hour wait for pancakes and eggs was unacceptable. The waitress beside him tells him not to worry about it. Seriouslly you have a customer complaint about your service and you tell your waiter to not worry about it!!! This is the worst service I have ever received at a restraint. And I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EATING AT THIS PLACE. They are rude and apprently do not care for the customers. read more
