To be fair, the staff is very kind. However... Firstly, I'm not sure why they would give ranch in packets. I've never seen that used beyond salads and where am I supposed to put that in a to go box? I had to take the soggy paper out of the bottom to even use the poor tasting ranch. Even better, one of the 3 chicken strips we ordered weren't even chicken. Literally an entire piece of breading, so I just wasted my money while I'm in the middle of trying to move :/. Big yikes. Won't ever be going here again. read more

Cool little joint on the lake. First time diner a Cpl weeks ago for breakfast with my family. Place was busy, but we found a table and server quickly took drink orders. She and other staff were friendly and fairly attentive. Was most impressed with the turn around on food, the quality of food and portion size. Don't judge a book by its cover, from the outside the Landing looks to be a typical local dive bar. However, once inside, its clean and bright, lots of TVs for sports, a Touchtunes juke box and Keno. Bartender fast and friendly. Never had to flag her down, proactively asked every time. The good is amazing, and very fairly priced. Fresh cut fries are crazy good, and a large basket of them under 4.00. We feel they have the best burgers in the Indian Lake area, or maybe anywhere. We were there Saturday to watch football, opted for Pretzel bites that looked like Buckeyes, so great for Ohio State games. We heard it gets really slammed on summer weekends with a long wait, but it's worth it! read more

I read plenty of reviews that said "best breakfast around" this was not the case. Waitress forgot about our party and we sat for 20 minutes before getting menus and even longer for drinks. Food took way too long and was luke warm when it came out. If the place was busy I could see these things but the place was half full. Because we were locals, I definitely felt that we were an afterthought. They seated a party of six AFTER us and served them before us because they were regulars. read more

The landing is one of those lakes best secrets. Now I have to be honest my wife is a bartender there and in many people opinion really makes the place but I am bios lol. If you like fish I dont know if you will find better any where else. Also there sandwiches are excellent especially the burger, the rueban, and the philly are out of this world. Breakfast is good and the staff is super friendly, but it's difficult to get served. Not enough servers, I assume, and it's an ongoing issue on the weekends. We eat at the Landing occasionally, the biggest draw being that we feel our business is appreciated and enjoy the smiling faces. The drawbacks are the men's bathroom situation (not good at all) and the limitations of the bar. No Irish cream, no daiquiri mix, no pina colada mix. We'd certainly certainly frequent the Landing more if breakfast didn't take an hour and the bar was capable of making basic cocktails. read more

I went out for a ride Labor Day morning and ended up at Indian Lake. I called on Yelp once again to help me find a local place. I was not disappointed. Servers were friendly. Food was good. Place is small - probably seats about 50 including the u-shaped bar. The latter appears to be the place where the locals hang out. Good menu choices including smothered hash browns. I would eat here again for sure if I am in the area. Would like to try lunch or dinner as well. read more

Well, we had a second trip to the Landing and we're not as satisfied as we were the first trip. I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was pretty good. I would recommend adding extra peppers, onions and mushrooms. The meat on it was very good. I also got the stuffed clam and it was good. Not omgosh I HAVE to come back just for this, but good. My husband got the giant tenderloin sandwich. He said it's just like the one you get at a fair or festival. Nothing special! We got a side of fries and onion rings. I was taken by surprise when the waitress asked me if I wanted fresh or frozen . I just read the menu that said the fries are always fresh cut! We got the fresh cut, extra crispy. The only thing extra crispy about them was the old, burnt fries that had been left in the fryer basket that are now at the bottom of our fries and onion rings. Seriously, these things looked like they had been in the fryer several times! (See the pic I posted!) Yuck! The onion rings were good, but all those burnt fries in the bottom of our basket turned us off to this place. Hey cooks, how about you dump out the fryer baskets with each order? read more

Had lunch there today. I have been there several times before but not for a year or so. The service has vastly improved. The wait time for food wasn't bad at all. Today I had the BLT Club which is just a double decker BLT. It was very good with plenty of bacon. Also had the the fresh cut fries which were very good. They were cooked perfectly. The Coleslaw was just ok but I am a coleslaw snob. I heard there had been an ownership change and things seem to be better for it. I will definitely go back more often. read more

We had be reading some good reviews about this place and decided to go by and give it a try. We walk in and it feels about 90 degrees in there. We sit at a tall table and order a drink. Their Long Island Iced Teas are very good, but we felt a little bit like they didn't really want us in there. Maybe because it's a locals place, and we were outsiders, who knows.
