    Not pork sausage, hot dogs
    Barb G.

We were here overnight before getting on a cruise and stayed at one of the hotels down the street. Knowing that IHOP is a chain, we were expecting food to be basically the same as at home (Arizona). Although we aren't frequent diners at IHOP, we have eaten their pancakes over the years. This morning we had a variety of dishes and everything was very greasy, not hot, and just mediocre at best. Service was fine and our person was friendly and efficient. I asked for the pork sausage...what I got was two sliced hot dogs grilled. I also ordered a Belgian Waffle, which was good...nothing special. Wife ordered the Chicken Florentine Crepes, which included two greasy crepes, with a sauce that lacked taste and chopped tomatoes on top. She ate about 4-5 bites and was done. Friend ordered the Breakfast Crepes and again, at about half of one and had to stop because it was just too greasy. Overall we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant.

The syrup is so busted in the bag all over the place!

I called and spoke to the restaurant manager and the manager name was Naomi if that is her real name. I told Naomi I did not want my food to be made yet because they said that it would take an hour before the driver gets there. She told me that my food was already made, and she will put it underneath the lamp. I pacifically told her not to do so because I didn't want my food to be sitting there for an hour. I told her to have it to be made when the driver gets there she told me OK And I also informed her can she put tobacco hot sauce and she said OK when the food gets here not only did the food get here and the food was absolutely cold, but this is nothing that I ordered. There's no whipped cream. There's no bananas on top. There's none of that no sauce nothing and the syrups were busted inside of the bag when I spoke to the manager again, Miss Naomi and I told her that we had a discussion and she was like oh no like so nonchalant as if she knew that they left that food sitting there and she didn't care about it. I'm very upset because I spent $19 on something that I cannot get my money back on. I would never ever go there again and I would recommend other people not to go there because there is no type of customer service whatsoever. paying customers like myself is what keep employees indoors open for restaurants like this and it's not fair.

Location is nice. Service is great. Staff is friendly and attentive. The food is good. Sausage was old. Asked for fresh and they made it fresh. Something about cooking sausage and serving throughout the entire day is not good. You can see in the picture this sausage was clearly old. The other food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I recommend this location.

I had such a quality juicy burger to go and two pancakes for $13. The new jalapeño Jack burger had a tasty crunchy cheese chip in the center and that made the burger so tasty. The burger was juicy the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised the whole time. The two pancakes were just all right. Well cooked, but not crazy flavorful.

Let me start with the steak frites. I can appreciate the fries weren't thick cut or anything. This was a plus and I'll explain why shortly. That steak was SUPER tender and juicy. Those fries quickly absorbed those flavors. Additionally, they served it with some sauces and let me say I don't really like steak sauces or anything but what they had was just icing on what was already a beautiful cake. The cherry on top was the crepe. Super light, flavor bomb, and frankly I thought I was crazy for thinking butter and sugar was gonna be boring, it was DIVINE. 10/5 will come back

Inside, the restaurant fully transports you out of the 305 with danity, quirky and cute decor, and cozy lighting. Only tables available. seating inside and out by parking lot. THE FOOD: For starters, we had the cheese, bread and honey dish - 4/5 warm, crunchy, gooey goodness. I also had the French onion soup 5/5, probably the best ive ever had! incredible flavor profile perfectly balanced and salted. For entrees, my husband went with a oxtail with mash dish they had on special that day 1000/5, too bad eating with your hands and licking your plate is frowned upon lol - it deserved that! I had the Pan seared branzino 2/5 - now hear me out - it was five out of five in texture, soft and buttery, and presentation BUT it was cook with SO MUCH BUTTER, that the roof of my mouth & tongue were coated in it and I couldnt tastes anything else! It was so much butter that I felt my lips, tongue and throat irritated. Additionally, im not sure why they didn't pair this dish with a mash or a roasted potatoes, instead of only cooked down spinach. THE SERVICE: Reservations are strongly encouraged - so I made mine with Resy. Through Resy, I confirmed my reservation and had it all in text & email. Upon arrival, their system didnt pull it up. However, the manager (?) was kind, gentle and gracious, sat us at a table. Our waiter was fantastic! So charismatic, and was well versed on all the dishes and how they were made. I believe she said she's been with the team a few years now. From what I understand, a sister restaurant was just opened in Miami Beach, so I hope to be able to give that one a try aswell - maybe for my birthday in two weeks?

And speaking just to the vibe of the restaurant, this place is like heaven on earth. The perfect brunch spot. The menu was nice and simple with a number of options that will satisfy anybody. The prices are exorbitant. This was expected so it's not a hindrance to us enjoying the meal. Our precious waitress was appropriately named Precious and she was attentive, sweet, and gave awesome recommendations of what we should order. We were immediately given water and I ordered two drinks, a bloody Mary and an iced latte. Both of these drinks were exceptional. The bloody Mary was very well spiced just the way I like it with a nicely rimmed glass and garnish of celery, olive bacon and shrimp. There are certainly vodka that I like better, but as far as flavor went, this one was unbeatable. My wife ordered an espresso martini which she also enjoyed although I've seen it pictures with coffee beans in it and hers did not have any. I feel an espresso martini loses its authenticity without the coffee beans. My way or the Chia bowl and I ordered the steak and eggs. This is not the steak and eggs that grandma served me. This is a perfectly cooked churasco steak with a couple of medium eggs done just the way I wanted them and some truffle fries and tomato. Timmy truffle fries are good but do not speak breakfast. I would've preferred another potato option. The steak was good but a little tough. The meal tasted good, but I would not say great. My wife ordered a Chia bowl which was a tiny portion, but she did enjoy it. Overall, the meal was good, but it did not nearly approach the perfection that one would expect at this price point. In addition without asking us, they poured two glasses of water and apparently have a charge for water. Whether you drink it or not. I'm not sure that there is any Goodwill in charging two dollars for water when people are enjoying $120 breakfast. I would love to give this place five stars, but I cannot based on the food itself, compared to the high expectation for a very high priced brunch. The four stars are primarily for the wonderful service and the incredibly beautiful vibe. I really like the location and I loved the ambience of the restaurant, but I don't expect that I will be back as the neighborhood is filled with beautiful restaurants to choose from.

I ordered the coconut water matcha and it was really delicious. Slightly sweet, matcha was smooth, and the perfect amount of ice. I also ordered the quiche sofia which has leeks. It took about ~15 minutes to come out. I was hoping that it was because they were warming it up, but when it arrived it had an awful mix of warm and cold spots. Kind of like when you microwave something and it doesn't heat all the way through. It tasted great, but for the amount of time I waited for it, I expected it to at least be warmed through. I'm a huge fan of Martha Stewart, and I would've been interested to return to try her collab menu items but it feels as if in this location, not everyone cares about providing great service. The Shakshuka was okay--perfectly edible, but nothing memorable. The Steak & Eggs was pretty much the same: decent, but definitely not worth the premium price. The biggest disappointment was the pancakes. They were dense, had noticeable lumps in the batter, and were nowhere near as light and fluffy as good pancakes should be. The syrup also didn't taste like real maple syrup, which was surprising considering how expensive everything is. Speaking of prices, Café Bastille is seriously overpriced for what it delivers. The restaurant also wasn't cool enough inside--the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable, which made the meal less enjoyable. The one bright spot was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job throughout the meal. One more thing that is becoming increasingly frustrating in Miami: the bill already included a mandatory 20% gratuity. While I always tip for good service, automatically adding 20% regardless of the experience feels excessive. This trend is getting out of control and takes away the customer's ability to reward service based on merit. Overall, this feels like a place designed more for tourists than for locals. Nice presentation and good marketing, but the food simply doesn't justify the prices. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back.
