We asked for two waters without ice and got waters with ice. I asked for additional water without ice and the water was contaminated with a particle. This franchise is one of my favorites as I am a pancakes fanatic and it also happens to be in my neighborhood. I visited with the family a few days ago on one of the few cold days of Miami and it was a pleasant breakfast. I would recommend however to the franchise to get rid of the carpet, it is such a thing of the past having carpet and especially with all the families with kids coming to this place; hence my 3 stars. read more

Not recommend at all. Food was really bad, servers was only 1 working for the restaurant. 0 out 10 better go to Macdonald's. When i brought up that the Colorado Omelette came out plain with avacado on top a sprinkle of bacon our server was nice enough to offer to get us q new one but the cook said that he wasn't going ro make another one because that's how it's made. The french toast didn't taste right it was dry and plain, it was pretty much toast with powdered sugar on top. Will not be coming here again. This IHOP used to be one of my breakfast to go spots when I used to live in Hialeah. I was in the area buying Christmas decorations and felt a bit nostalgic and also wanted some breakfast for dinner and stopped by. Had my usual, breakfast sampler which has eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes and a steaming cup of coffee. The service was good. Waitress was attentive. I placed my order within a two minutes getting there and got my food relatively quickly. The food though was a bit disappointing. The eggs had no taste/flavor. The pancakes were not airy/fluffy. Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 17/100 I wish that I'd read the reviews before stopping at this location. After arriving quite early to Miami I was ready for breakfast. This location is near the airport so it was convenient. It was early so parking and getting seated was no problem. When the sever brought out our plates one of the members in our party noticed a red substance on the plate. Most likely it was strawberry jam or syrup but no one ordered anything with jam and we had someone in the party with a allergy to strawberries. The server took the plate back and everyone else checked their plates. I found the same thing on my plate as well under my waffle and asked the server to bring out another one on a clean plate. The cook was quite upset and vocal about her bringing back food (we could hear him at our table). He wanted her to swap out the plate but the other server stepped in and said "No, she needs a new waffle that plate was dirty". He slammed the waffle and the trash and started making another one. We didn't make a fuss about the issue - figured he was using the same gloves and touched the plate but his attitude about it was horrible. Otherwise the waffle was average. read more

Flew in to MIA and needed to eat ASAP so I was super excited to find out that there was a IHOP close by. Parking was a bit of a struggle, just had to end up stalking the people leaving to get one. Got in there and my group of 5 was seated immediately. Blanca was our server. She got all of the orders correct even though people kept changing their order. Food was delivered promptly, great temperature and flavor. Blanca even helped us find a nice Spanish bakery in the area. Overall amazing experience!!! read more

Service not so great. I sat at the bar style seating up front. After about 10 people walking back and forth, it took 1-2 minutes for someone to stop by. After i got my food my server eventually stopped by to see if i needed anything, only after another server had checked on a nearby customer who had recently sat near me. This was the only time the server stopped by. The food was typical IHOP food. It came out quick after the order. I had to get some water and my check from other servers/staff. Service needs to be improved, although it depends on who you get as a server. The other customer who arrived after me was greeted within 30 seconds of their arrival. Also the noise level of the staff was noticably higher than other locations it seems. The manager would call out the orders to the staff, at a pretty high tone. Overall, food typical, service below average. Be prepared to do some uncoventional things to expedite your service. read more

After an extremely disappointing experience in South Beach, we decided to come back to our hotel and decide where to have dinner from there. My brother suggested IHOP because it is in the same lot as the hotel we stayed at. Although the AC was on full blast and the place was an ice chest, it was the best dinner we had while in Miami! Our server was very sweet, coming back to clarify when she didn't understand something. Our waters were refilled constantly and the food was SO good! I had a bacon cheeseburger and some fries. The last time we came here was about 9 months ago. My 6 year old asked me to take him here & so IHOP it was. We found parking rather quick, maybe because it was early. The person who sat us was very friendly & nice to my son. He seated us right away. The waitress was also really nice & prompt with everything. No complaints there. The food is nothing special. It wasn't bad but you know what you're getting. I ordered an iced coffee that I ended up switching to regular coffee. It was not good at all. You have to add sugar to it & it just kills the whole flavor for me. The McDonald's iced coffee tastes much better in my opinion. But IHOP's coffee in general just isn't good. It's very watered down. We've ordered from here a couple times during the pandemic shutdown. Food is warm and quick. You have to leave for pickup pretty much as soon as you put in the order. It's IHOP, so you know you aren't getting super high quality food, but it's great as far as IHOP goes, and we'll worth it. Happy to support them during hard times. read more

IHOP you impressed me! Great variety of food choices made fresh to order. The food was great. I wasn't expecting anything above fast food tasting, but I was wrong I ate a egg white omelette that had veggies and cheese with a side of fresh fruit. It was so big I couldn't finish it. Yes the staff speaks Spanish (it's freakin Miami people). yes my waitress only came by once after she delivered my food and I liked that!! I don't want someone hovering over me while I eat! Always come here, when I have a taste for pancakes since it's located near my home. Saw the advertising of the double crunch French toast last night. Came in and I was greeted and asked where would I like to be seated? I told the server at the counter is fine. I ordered the double crunch French toast, with eggs over medium, hash browns, bacon and sausages. I received the plate with the sides first, I notice was over cooked, but I didn't return it. I also ordered their seasonal Watermelon Lemonade. I received the lemonade all full of seeds, which I've ordered from other Ihops and it's not the same situation. I finally received the infamous double crunch French Toast with cinnamon and it tasted atrocious. The server was paying attention to my facial expressions and asked me if I wanted to order the regular French Toast. I advised my server that it was ok. My French Toast came and it was way better than the previous served. I was upset, because by that time I was not really hungry. I feel service could've been a little better. read more

I would put no stars if I could. First of all, the lady that served us kept telling me they didn't have what I wanted. Waffles and apple juice. No biggy but I would assume they should have it right? She didn't check up on us once. Until we went up front to pay. I payed the amount. JUST the bill/check. I usually tip, but I really didn't like the service we got. When I handed the ticket back, she looked at it and said "no tip?" I'm sorry but when someone tells me to tip them, it's a for sure no. That was the very first time someone asked me to tip. You don't asked to be tipped. You get tipped if you gave good service. She did not do that. I looked at her and asked if I NEEDED to tip. Like is it not optional? Last time I checked, it was optional. And she said it WAS optional but not anymore. And I just looked at the receipt like if I'm really going to have to tip this lady who I think didn't deserve a tip from me. After literally looking at the receipt and being quiet from the bullshit I just heard for 2 minutes, I wrote down her 15% tip. She looked at it and was quiet. I asked if I did it right and she said yes. I said ok and said have a nice night and left. My night was ruined the moment I walked into this ihop. I just wanted to go back to my hotel and just not get fussy with the manager over a tip. I don't like conflict. This is my first yelp review and I never thought I would HAVE to leave this here for others to see. Telling ME to tip you should be a no go. Then, our waiter said they don't serve poached eggs at night, which is what I get at every IHOP at any time of day all over the country so that was weird. A lunch time favorite for a couple of my coworkers and I. Every one has to admit that breakfast in the middle of the day is a treat from time to time. I always order the sampler, French toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs and coffee. Rather filling but soooo good. My friends Aleah's order the healthy vegetarian omelets which they enjoy, and go back to each time. They also order the whole wheat pancakes which I have not tried but which they claim are very tasty. That might have a bit to do with the multitude of flavored syrup options on the table: strawberry, pecan, maple, original, oh so tasty. I always remember the Ihops of my youth being dirty, but this place is rather clean. The dinning area is casual and comfortable, you can see how clan the kitchen is because it is an open one.
