It's now called the Craft American Eatery. Cool name but worse food than before. They should have named it to the Craft American soup kitchen. Breakfast is now a buffet that is in the corner - gross disgusting and complete with knats flying around. Oily greasy food that really should not be consumed. If yiu order eggs they do not come out correctly and the wait staff is always busy on their phones instead of taking care of you. I waited so long for a cup of coffee to be brought that I got it myself, and there weren't but 10 other people in the place at the time. If you can get somewhere else - first watch is an uber ride away I'd recommend that instead of this place. Dinner is very overpriced and while the photos make it look nice, it's terrible. In Miami for the night before departing on a cruise. Based on the Yelp reviews and the close proximity of Prime 36 to our hotel - we decided to try it. LOVED the service, quality of food and general ambience. It's a relatively small place, which was nice...very clean and very attentive server. We went with two burgers and a salmon Caesar salad. Came on a Thursday night for dinner with a friend. I was invited and just given an address - I was so confused when the directions led me to a hotel. This tucked restaurant shares the same walls as the hotel. I initially was nervous because there were not a lot of customers inside. But experience turned out well. Food - We ordered the wings, meatball appetizer, and I chose the prime burger. Out of all the wings were my least favorite. It came with your choice of sweet chili glaze, ranch or bbq sauce. I'm not sure why I thought it would be tossed in a sauce, but they come naked and served with sauce choice on the side. They were just really hard for my poor sensitive teeth. There was no wow factor. The meatballs were very good and had a dollop of ricotta on each, marinara and bread on the side. Prime burger was my kind of burger: bacon, cheese, fried egg, mushrooms and sautéed onions. You get either French fries or a house salad as a side and you can't swap it out for anything else. Trust me I already asked lol I chose the salad. Came with onions, tomatoes (I asked for no tomatoes) and a sweet, light house dressing. My friend chose the picanha sandwich and said it was very good. Service was good, no qualms about it. Pretty standard. Nice little place for a quiet date, would recommend and would try again. read more

Wowza! We were so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful this place is!! We arrived at our hotel 15 minutes before kitchen closing next door so they recommended holding our luggage while we ran over to order. The food as well as service was excellent! And the wine was great! We were catching a plane the next morning and this was the perfect place to layover. We also had breakfast there the next day - delicious! read more

I am so shocked that there was not more reviews on here about the lasagna. I'm so happy I tried it. It was DELICIOUS! Simply one of the best lasagna's I've ever had. It was so meaty and cheesy in all the right places. My only suggestion is for them to offer a little bit more for the serving size. I received a very small portion for $17. But overall, customer service, ambiance and the food deserves a 5/5! read more

Nice little gem Of a restaurant. Located on the parking lot of the hotel. Tried this restaurant on a Groupon. And to say you will not be disappointed. Skirt steak cooked to perfection. The burger with the egg, bacon, and pepper jack cheese medium well on point. Quite substantial amount of fries and house salad with their homemade house dressing intact complements the salad. Service was awesome, only thing be aware that they already charged a service fee included to the bill. read more

As the Miami Springs resident that I really don't mind to try such great European influenced restaurant in the Virginia Garden. The food and service are both excellent. On top of that they do have happy hr in drinks till 7:00pm. I will recommend the home made gnocchi with side order of skirt steak. Or you may order the dinner portion of skirt steak if you like the Argentina's style steak. Oh..and must try their beef empanadas too. The restaurant isn't big but do have few tables outside. The time we visited ( around 6:00pm) not very crowded, which is good to keep the social distancing. In the end, you must try the brownie with vanilla ice one top. The brownie is so rich, moist, and nutty. Most important isn't over sweet. Conclusion: Highly recommend. read more

Such great spot! Stopped here after getting off a cruise before a flight. Everything was amazing! Food, service, atmosphere, everything! This was one of the best meals I had in a while. The food is always very good. The kitchen staff is very good and fast, however the wait staff is sometimes slow.

I think this is the worst place i have ever ate at. I don't have nothing nice to say at all. The cream spinach is wilted leaves and heavy cream. I couldn't even eat it. The steak had no flavor. Salt and pepper goes along way. Only if they used it. The mashed potatoes horrendous. Tastes like boiled potatoes them mashed with butter without any seasoning. This is right next to the Candlewood Suites hotel and brand new as of Feb 2020. They serve cafe style breakfast-lunch-dinner premium quality meals at a surprisingly reasonable price. We were just spending the night at the hotel and found this perfect match of a cafe literally closer than you park your car at the hotel. Show your room key at get a empanada for free. This restaurant is not as good as the other reviews suggest. Menu and reviews looked good online. We had the higher priced items so expected a bit more I guess. Ribeye was very thin for $28. Sides being extra. Flavor was good but was cooked a little over. Did get one redone. Atmosphere, service and wine was good but food was mediocre. Maybe the lower priced items would have been better according to other reviews. Ask to see a printed bill before paying. We were given the hand payment system and didn't know an 18% service charge was already applied. Wouldn't have tipped as large as we did had we seen that first. A credit card use charge is typically 3%. So felt a little deceived after all was said and done. Overall, this place was pretty pricey for the food we experienced. Would try the other Italian place down the street if in the area again. read more

I purchased a to-go order from this establishment recently and I'm not sure why they gave me so little meat for the amount of $8.00. There's more lettuce than meat and although the other food was alright, I can't understand how a cook, or even the wait staff could look at the measly portion size and feel ok with handing this over to a customer. read more

Small restaurant with excellent food. Picked it on a whim for a family get together and we were not disappointed.

Staying overnight to catch a cruise in the morning , stopped to get a light dinner. We ordered the beef and ham cheese empanada both were made to order . Got the meatballs and garlic bread ; perfect light dinner after a long drive . The food was made to order the flavors were delicious. Highly recommend. The service was on point . Well well! I guess I should start this review by stating a few qualifiers. First, I rarely write reviews anymore. An establishment has to strike me as being really awesome or p%#$ me off so bad I can't even breathe before I bother casting my opinion on the inter web now days. Fortunately this one is on the good end of my spectrum. They other item is that I usually avoid hotel eateries at all cost. This is because 98% of the time they offer overpriced crap straight from the freezer. I was very pleasantly surprised by this breath of fresh air. I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the kale and quinoa salad ($11.00) and the 6 ounce skirt steak protein addition ($8.00) on the side. While I was waiting for my food, the waitress brought out this wonderful little plate of toasted baguette with a dusting of butter and parmigiana. The house dressing is a sweet raspberry vinaigrette and the salad came loaded with all sorts of tasty vegetables. I would have to say it warmed my soul. I like how they tossed the lettuce in the dressing, then added everything on top of that. The steak was at least as good if not better than the salad. I ordered mine medium rare. It was delicious. Honestly delicious probably isn't a strong enough word. Almost as soft as butter for lack of a better adjective. It was accompanied with a side of Chimichuri. I used the sauce on a few bites, but I found the steak was too good on its own. The service was great. My waitress was a sweetie. While I was sitting at the bar eating, the owners walked in. I felt I had to compliment them on what a good job they have done with this establishment. They seemed to be extremely kind people. I found they opened in February of 2020. That made me sad, but at the same time very grateful they made it through to this point. This is far and away the best restaurant I've found in the Miami springs area. Honestly, I feel it would prosper in Wynwood, Brickell, or any other posh neighborhood in south Florida. read more

A little hidden gem! Alexandra the manager was doing all of the jobs except cooking due to staff shortage, but her friendliness, excellent service was on point. She made the best drinks and sn awesome Cortadito. The food was excellent! I had the skirt steak and it was cooked to perfection. My hubby had the Cobb salad and it was also very good. Everyone liked their food borrowing a few comments i will include... but the letdown was the service:( Disappointed in service throughout our dinner - could be more organized, drinks need to be refilled - waters and teas, please offer plates for the apps and clear the dishes. They served an underprepared appetizer (frozen inside) - and brought us another with same issue!), served dinner to half the table, and then took care of 2 other tables before bringing the rest of our guests - 10 minutes felt like forever as their food got cool waiting for the rest. I think they could have done better with that, for sure. So, to wrap this up on the positive note- the food was great (the gnochie sauce wasn't the greatest, but it was awesomely cheesy - taste was a little off?) and the balls of gnochie was terrific - yum. Hamburger was perfectly cooked - lots of good flavor with the meat mixture they use!) the prime salad was EXCELLENT (worth repeating!), lasagna was meaty and cheesy and downright delicious. Prime36 gave me and my family every thing we could ask for. My son recently got married in Miami and I didn't have anywhere to host the rehearsal dinner. Since we were all staying at the Candlewood Suites Hotel, I asked if they had a space we could use. They recommended I call the manager of the restaurant. I did and he was very accommodating and thoughtful. He planned a menu with starter and entrée options my guest could choose from. We were able to decorate and show a video. The food was delicious and we had a great time. Our added bonus was that we were able to have breakfast there also during our stay. The portions they served were a lot and filling. read more

Prime 36 is a terrific restaurant. They have excellent food for both lunch & dinner. Nice fresh bread brought to the table with olive oil & balsamic vinegar available for dipping. I had the Cobb Salad which was delicious. I also had the soup of the day. This is served in a very big bowl & is double the size of what you get at most restaurants. The coffee was also amazing!
