My $7 breakfast. Limp bacon I had to ask if they would cook some crisp. My husband overstated my eggs. But, the pancakes never disappoint. They were awesome. I should have just got pancakes. The server was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was slightly busy.

We stopped here before heading out on a road trip and it's been a while since we ate here .we got seated immediately and ordered eggs Benedict and wife got a egg white omelette. Only gripe was that mine was 14 bucks and hers were like 17. Bill was like 42 bucks for breakfast with a coffee. Food was great and service as well . Would still go here in a pinch for early eats.

Five "large" pancakes. What a joke.

$13.49 for five small pancakes. Poor service, I don't understand how they stay in business.

Date of Visit: July 1, 2026…read more After driving all day the previous day we were wanting a real good county breakfast. My wife told me she had just the place in mind and I've been there before too (City Cafe). But when we arrived we saw they were permanently closed, dang. I could taste it. Then the wife recommended Puckett's and they are just around the the corner, a short walk. As we walked up on the place I noticed the marque, retro. The inside was bit as well. We were quickly seated and drink orders taken. This was a weekday morning visit so not too busy. Looking over the menu, I may not have looked close enough, I decided on the "Build your own Omelette". Onions, tomatoes and pepper jack cheese. The wife ordered the B&G. I noticed I wasn't asked about my side? I wounded potatoes. Also rye bread with my omelette, hmmm. Our food arrived, all looked good. I saw my order came with what looked like frozen type of potatoes, perfect squares. I was expecting something home cooked, fried potatoes with burnt edges. Flavor. The wife's B&G looked great, two basques and potatoes as well. The omelette was good, plenty of everything and filled. The wife said here B&G was really good and she's a B&G expert. Over all, all was good just disappointed with the potatoes option and no rye toast. Perhaps they could consider fresh cut potatoes along with the frozen type. Also maybe offer some type of toast. Give the place try if your on the square. Peace.

Tap in below: -Being from Nevada, we had stop in to support a former Nevadan owned business. Ron just got a knee surgery and was hard at work!!! Anna was in the kitchen running around and all hands were on deck making sure everyone was tended to, and had not just phenomenal service, but phenomenal food! The sense of community spoke mountains as my fiancée was wished a happy birthday by a daughter of a firefighter, we watched her open the door for a local who came in, and as beautiful as that was.... Ron was known by all the locals and this restaurant spoke community from the minute you walked in. As for the food: -Steak plate: 5/5 Well seasoned, home cooking. If you've walked into your home and you had mom make you a hot plate of food, that's what this experience reminded me of. Home. There were smiles as we ate, flavors that reminded us of home cooking, just a classic diner experience that makes you feel a sense of community. It was just a perfectly cooked over medium egg, a scramble of steak and potatoes that was seasoned well, just a quality dining experience. -Chicken and waffles: 4.5/5 Southern classic. Breading was the only thing I'd change on the chicken but a fluffy waffle met with sweet syrup and a crispy chicken. Savory meets sweet and it's just done simple and done right. Chatting with Ron and Anna, the community is blessed to have them in this town and the twin yolk is somewhere I'd say is a true hole in the wall you'd miss unless you knew about it. Hoping this provides the visibility for you to share this heart warming experience as well.

We ordered the loaded pancakes. 3 eggs meal (forgot the name) and the corned beef. Everything was delicious. Oh and the served Folgers coffee. I asked the cashier what type of coffee they served. Her response, "None of that fancy stuff." Folgers is a stable, quality brand of coffee! Loved it! Nothing special about the ambience. Seating is family style. Comfortable seats! I would definitely recommend Twin Yolk for a quick, tasty and inexpensive breakfast.

The food is delivered to your table. While waiting, I noticed that the old building has a faint mold smell that would have set my wife's allergies off. I was alone on a lunch break. I ordered their Greatest American Hero burger with Cajun fries. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. They were great. The burger was perfectly cooked and had enough lettuce that the fresh crunch came through. Joanie's Magic Sauce was served on the side. It was good with the burger but not the fries. This was my first trip here and I can recommend it. The burger was better than average. I'd give it a 7.8 out of 10. Other than the moldy smell, I can recommend it. The condiments are in small packets on a wall, which I didn't care for, but not the end of the world.
