National Pancake Day happened to fall on Fat Tuesday this year and IHOP had the deal of the day! A completely free short stack of pancakes! This, of course, made IHOP especially crowded at 4:30 on a Tuesday. However, surprisingly, the wait staff kept up the pace and we received our complimentary pancakes without a super long wait. Being a polite customer, I decided to also order a non-complimentary decaf coffee. I was so excited when I read on the menu that they had silk oat milk creamer but, the waitress informed us they had been out of it for months. Oh well. The coffee was hot and fresh and the pancakes were warm and fluffy. You can always count on IHOP for some sweet stuff for breakfast and it's even better when that stuff happens to be free! The turkey sausage was juicy and amongst everything at my first time at this establishment the customer service and cheerful attitude from the staff especially my waitress Layla was extremely refreshing from someone at 1 am. Took my employees for breakfast and had to wait 40 minutes until we could order our food. After an hour, I asked to pay so I wouldn't have to rush to do this at the end and also several of us asked for to go boxes due to worry we would now not have time to eat. After another 20 minutes, and running late to get to work, I mentioned something to staff about needing to leave and letting them know I already paid but several people are now unable to stay to eat. They did not offer any solution to this and instead I felt very belittled by the way they spoke to me. The food was coming out as I was getting ready to leave, so they made the point the food was now ready. Terrible service. Sat for 35 minutes after ordering and watched others get seating and recieve their food. Waitress is non existent . Finally she came by and realized we had no food. She had been serving all the other people that came in after us. Waitress said our order had been "stolen" probably by a take out order. What's a hungry man to do when he finds out that the power is out at his house? Well, when it's 9:30 pm and you don't want to eat in the dark...I headed to IHOP. It's been at least a decade since I last visited an IHOP and I walked out because they didn't have any pie for a late night dessert. Prior to that was it was young adult memories of sticky tables and wondering "what the hell is a Boysenberry" while admiring the plethora of exotic high fructose corn syrups on the tables. Last night I was the only diner in an empty restaurant save my waitress and her young boy that was spending the evening in a booth with his mama while she was overworked taking my lone order. i felt like I was intruding on their quality bonding time. I mean that's the kind of memories this kid will always remember; sitting in a private booth with coloring books, unlimited french fries and soda and listening to the greatest hits of the '80s blasting from the speakers. Ahh, the high life! My Chicken biscuit sandwich with a cup of gravy and a side of hash browns was pretty average on all fronts. A bit too pricey for the quality but it beats trying to find something in the refrigerator at home, with the light of your cell phone while stressing about holding the door open for too long and then having to throw away all the food that you bought the day before that you will never get to enjoy because of global warming, poor city planning and old growth suburban arbory. That kid don't know how good he's got it, adulting is hard! I took off the top biscuit, poured the gravy over the small chicken filet, doused it in tabasco while covering the hashbrowns with the fancy sea salt grinder that has replaced the decanter of Boysenberry syrup and then a liberal couple of squeezes from the Heinz ketchup bottle at every table and laughed at two of the saddest and smallest pickle chips I've ever seen. I ate slowly to avoid the drive home to darkness and no A/C or fan to sleep with. I would have stayed longer but they still don't have any pie. A waited a decade and they still don't have pie on a 12 page menu for a restaurant that's open 24 hours a day!... WTF! I tipped generously and hoped that mama waitress bought the kid a new toy or book for his next "shift" at IHOP, for me it will probably be another late night power outage before I have the desire to repeat the experience. read more

Our waiter was amazing. The kitchen did a great job meeting our dietary needs. Everything tasted great and my egg was perfectly poached!

The table was half cleaned......had to go to the restroom to soap up a few paper towels and clean it myself! And the food was horrible! I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet and added turkey. They usually use real eggs for the omelets, but for some reason the cook used the liquid eggs. The server saw me picking at it and asked if something was wrong. I told her that the omelet had a funny taste and I prefer my omelet to be made with real eggs not the "egg beaters" equivalent! She just looked at it and said oh! Then proceeded to walk away! I ate half of the lukewarm pancakes that were falling apart. She comes back later and says "You want me to throw that away?" Then drops the check! This restaurant was such a disappointment. We tried it for late night breakfast last night rather than Waffle House. Waffle House is so much better! I used to eat at IHOP years ago, but there is no comparison. The interior of IHOP is much nicer and cleaner than Waffle House. The service was fine, and the coffee was good, but that's where it ended. The hash browns were terrible! They were obviously pre-made and microwaved, lukewarm, tasteless, and hard to cut. The eggs and pancakes were just so-so. Butterless toast. Also, bad music was blasting way too loudly. We won't be back. read more

I placed an order for pick up through Uber eats here i got a 2x2x2 and got there within the arrival time shown on the Uber app. i got extra bacon and they gave me no bacon. I ordered a milkshake and they claimed they were out of ice cream and then on top of that gave me no silverware or condiments(butter ,syrup, salt,etc). there was only one woman working there when I got there she was outside smoking and I probably waited for 10 minutes then when I got my food, it was cold. I asked for a refund and she said that I need to call Uber eats and I asked her. How are they going to know I'm not lying to get free food if I'm not here for you guys to talk to them she disnt really know what to say. this was some of the worst service I've ever seen. As always amazing food! We came at 5AM in the morning and the kind lady greeted us with open arms. Although the service was a bit slow, it was expected that late at night. Food turned out extremely good anyways so it was all worth it! The atmosphere was also friendly. Great place to start your day or end the night. The food was good here and the restaurant was clean. The were two reasons I knocked off a couple of stars. The first being that the service was bad. And I don't mean that my server didn't perform well. She did fine under the circumstances. But when I entered the restaurant there was literally no one on the floor and I had to wait approximately ten minutes before anyone showed up. After some observation I was able to observe what the issue was. My server was trying to do her own job plus help in the kitchen. Obviously they're very short staffed which doesn't make for a great customer experience. The second problem was the hashbrowns I ordered. Very skimpy portion size. About four bites and it was gone. I've eaten at IHOP enough times to know that was about half of what they usually give you for an order of hashbrowns. Come on, IHOP. Hashbrowns are one of the least expensive things on your menu. You can do better than that. On a more positive note the free wifi was outstanding. I conducted a speed test while I was waiting on my food and got 393 Mbps download speed. That's much better than any of the local coffee shops I've been to so if you need access to some free internet in NKC it looks like IHOP is the place to go! read more

We went here yesterday morning for breakfast, have been waiting and waiting and ... waiting for this location to open! Took a little bit for us to be seated and our order taken, but the food was fantastic. Seemed a bit pricey - spent $37 on a Belgian waffle, the strawberry banana French toast, 2 juices and a coffee. Went in and was told it would be a 15 min wait. 20 minutes later it became a 30 minute wait. They just seemed to be writing names down randomly on a board. When we originally went in our name was written at the top of it the list which I thought was strange. Then when we left we where about 3 from the top. They seemed poorly organized. Hostess would disappear for long periods of time. Most people waiting before us walked out and several people left saying they got coffee then no one came back. A lot of people walked out after waiting 5-10 mins with no hostess to tell them how long the wait was or take there name. read more
