They sat me down pretty quickly and they took my order pretty quickly which is good. It's the first time that I have ever been in a IHOP attached to a truck stop the decor is pretty standard for a IHOP. They messed up my mothers order she asked for grilled chicken in her salad but she got fried and she had to send her order back they also mixed up the salad dressings between me and my mothers. This place gets 3 stars because the food was amazing instead of 5 because of the mixup and how long it took them to send my mother's salad back out after it was sent back. But they did make it right with. Discount

Denice, thank you for being a great server and an amazing person, we really appreciate you and your happiness and love for life. I really had a great time; so did my partner, the food was very fresh, and hot, the Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate was the best ever, that was so good we had two cups. The food came out great; and had a home style freshness and that's rare for ihop, thank you to the chef. Denice, hope to see you soon, God Bless you'd

Drinks: the Dr Pepper was flat and watered down. We didn't get any refills either. Food: COLD WAFFLES! Hard eggs! Dry Omelets. The chicken fingers were over cooked and tasted like burnt oil. Service- Rebecca was kind of rude and didn't check on refills at all. Would not recommend this IHOP. Terrible

Perfectly adequate place to stop and refuel. Bright open layout, clean, friendly staff. Regular IHOP fare, meets my expectations.

The chicken fajita omelet was fantastic! Everything that our family had was really good. The pancakes and coffee are must-haves too!

Colby, Kansas, March 2026…read more The small restaurant has 10 tables. It It sits on the corner of an antique strip mall. Pretty basic inside the restaurant. The salad bar is located right next to the one and only bathroom. The menu has many sandwiches to choose from. It has fewer entree selections. The waitress was new the night we went. She was nice and extremely helpful. She was an older lady, and I only say that for clarification of the other waitress who had long black hair with ponytail. Tried to get her attention a few times, and even though the restaurant is extremely small, she passed by as if though she did not see us. We ordered the chicken fried steak and the fried chicken. Both came with an ice cream size scoop of mashed potatoes and corn. The potatoes and chicken were covered in a white gravy. The chicken was hot and tender. The mashed potatoes were flavorless as was the gravy. The meals are also accompanied with a roll. Butter is in individual packets on the table. The chicken fried steak was thick and had little breading. It would have been better if it was a thinner pounded steak with more breading as that was more traditional to my liking. When they bring your check, it comes with a warm chocolate chip cookie. Cute idea! The ambience was odd and not welcoming. The location was rather depressing. The food was OK. I would give this place overall 3.5 stars.

All cultural…read morepilgrims and weary road warriors traveling through this part of the country are well served spending a night at the nearby Sleep Inn (I don't usually review hotels, but Sleep Inn just gets it right) and seeking a true American experience at Town & Country. This place defines the genre of enduring family run country restaurants. Nothing here is new, more like right out of 1958 and well worn. That is everything but the warm friendly service and a wide offering of totally familiar comforting food. I love these relics of an Americana that is rapidly disappearing into the cold predictability of franchise chains utterly without character. Prices are right and portions are generous. You know that you have struck rural restaurant gold when the specials on the chalk board are liver and onions, green beans and hominy, and beef and noodles. Your impression is confirmed by the home made pie list which is so large it requires its own chalk board on another wall. I've traveled a thousand miles just to have their beef and noodles. Last time I was there the guy before me got the last serving. Opting for a classic cheeseburger I received a seriously generous hand crafted patty, perfectly cooked medium with all the proper fixin's and condiments. My wife usually orders a grilled pork chop which never fails to satisfy. The salad bar is also a classic offering, and an essential with any meal. Town & Country is a worthy survivor from a better era and won't disappoint as long as you are open to a trip back to that era.

The salad bar was wonderful with fresh and a very great selection of Midwestern style items. The main courses were very good and generous. Prices were reasonable considering the alternatives and current price levels. I had the liver and onions with hominy instead of the potato choice, which is a interesting Midwestern side that most people don't recognize.. The peanut butter pie was excellent. They offer a discount for customers staying in town (and the waitress knew which customers were from out of town and might be staying there. The place reminded me of a diner from 1960s-1970s Indiana.
