A patron looking for the waitress.
    Nikiba J.

Here Today! It must have been too early in the morning for the host/waitress and cook or maybe their in a relationship and issues spilling over into their JOB RESPONSIBILITIES. I tell her 2 and I'm waiting on my co-worker who through the big window is messing around in the van taking his time getting out. The waitress looks at me rolls her eyes takes 2 menus and flop them on a table of HER choice. I stand there looking like, umm lady that means I'm NOT ready to be seated and usually they don't seat incomplete parties. He comes in I relocate our table, we hadn't picked up our menus good before she comes over to take our order. I hesitate to order because she and the cook wouldn't get a chance to booger up my omelette but we had a long journey to Washington D.C. Against my better judgment I ordered quickly hoping to just go with the flow and smile at strife at its onset. She returns with our food, my coworker dives right in without saying grace which is a warning, who are these people? U DONT EAT OTHER PEOPLES FOOD WITHOUT BLESSING UR PLATE, shoots he looks like Santa Clause so he should believe in saying THANKS. Let me tell yall this, the folks up here are sumtin else (yes sumtin), I'm going to keep my opinion on these folks out of this review, but I keep telling yall I DON'T MAKE THESE THINGS UP! Down SOUTH at least WE treat you like family, fake a smile on our jobs even if we don't know or like you. Wateva, she comes back and slams my plate on the table and fixed her vocal cords to tell me "The cook forgot the cheese in your omelette, I put some in there". I flip open the omelette and sure enough, there's some shredded cheese placed inside, NOT melted. I smile and say "I like my cheese melted and some on top". Why ole girl picks up my plate and says " I'll put it in the microwave" and off she went. I'm toooo out done, stick a toothpick in me I'M TOO DONE! She returns, I say "Girl, stop'it, what city and state am I in?". She looks confused by my question, I didn't open my mouth after that I smile and pushed the plate forward. The devil is a lie, I don't eat boogers and snot, I sat at the table and played Phase 10 on my phone as a way to calm my nerves before we head towards D.C. I left my coworker and my ticket at the table....Don't Mess with TEXAS (that's me). Here Today. I WON'T be there Tomorrow!

My photo explains it all....you get nothing! We've got nothing but excuses since we arrived. We're short staffed, injured worker, another worker is coming in....blah blah blah. There's only 3 people here tonight during dinner time. I'm embarrassed for the owner of this business. You're probably better of closing the doors and throwing away the key! You know there's no other waiter coming in tonight. What person would work a 3 hour shift for 4 dollar tips per table. Not me. Took twenty minutes to get seated. Took another twenty minutes to even get a drink. Pathetic!

Plastic being pulled out of my cooked chocolate pancake.

I've never really been impressed with this particular ihop location in the past but this weekend they hit an all time low when they cooked PLASTIC (presumably a glove or Saran Wrap) INTO my pancake. The plastic had gotten into the batter somehow and the chef cooked it right into the pancake. If this pancake would have been served to a child it could have been a major choking hazard not to mention who knows what the material was or what contaminates it had on it. The manager did comp the meal but I had to tell her to make sure she takes care of the remaining batter in the back to prevent anyone else from having a pancake like that if there was more. Highly disgusting. Not to mention overdone eggs, burnt and cold hash browns and a waitress that was sweating alllllll over the food she was delivering. I'll be avoiding this place from now on. I don't trust the sanitary values of the establishment in the slightest.

Big Steak Omelette & New York Cheesecake Pancakes made with gluten friendly batter

Great service, very friendly and attentive. Huge omlets, probably the biggest steak omlet I've ever gotten at an IHOP! And they were very accommodating to making my food gluten friendly, even the omlet. Only complaint is that it was cold and dark inside with not many lights.

    Lots of pancakes

They occasionally have major discount days here that provide a lot of food for a little money. While I typically wouldn't go here, these discount days are nice, and the food is good. The pancakes are very light and fluffy, though they are not very filling. You have to order many of their pancakes to satisfy your hunger (I posted a picture below exemplifying this). The place is moderately clean, and the staff is nice, though the lighting could be better. Overall, I'd say this is a decent casual breakfast place if you do not want to spend a lot of money and are not picky about the cleanliness of the environment.

Not a bad meal. Not my favorite place to eat but it's ok. Price is pretty good just wish portions were a little bigger on the onion rings and fries. The Philly burger was good and the kids loved he French toast and pancakes. The chicken tenders were ok... had some gristle on them.. more then they should have on them... The service was not bad but the waitress disappeared for long periods of time which gets frustrating... I would give it another try some time and try a different meal..

Dirty table the whole time we were in there. Around 45min-1hour

$4.25 for one small cup of hot chocolate. Their were 3 tables full, while they we were waiting for the food she ate behind the counter instead of cleaning off this dirty table. The atmosphere was pretty clean besides the one table and the food was okay. On our way out the cook was not to be seen and the waiter was yelling Order up multiple times.

This is the "fresh" lemon that came with my tea.

We then decided to make the drive to Levi's Commons hoping to take in some incredible ice sculptures. Most of the sculptures we saw at both locations were business logos... a bit of a disappointment. We decided to take a chance on trying Perrysburger's in downtown Perrysburg beacuse it was later in the afternoon. I had been there a few times several years ago not long after this eatery opened their doors. We were immediately seated and while we were looking over the menus, all the other tables were subsequently filled and a line began to develop. We timed our visit perfectly! We ordered Fungus Amongus and Let's Brie Friends burgers along with the unending fries. Small restaurant with only a handful of tables, one server, and the grill chef - that's it. Burgers were well seasoned and good tasting. In my opinion, these burgers were on the medium-well side of the spectrum, so a bit over done for me. The fries = yum! Reminded me of a shoestring type version of Berardi's in Sandusky Ohio. These fries were nicely seasoned and done to what I would call, perfection! Even with every tabled filled and a line of hungry patrons, the food did not take an inordinate amount time to be served. Impulse purchase homemade cookies were located at the register. We obliged and purchases one of each flavor - choc chunk and oatmeal with butterscotch and walnuts. Overall, price was moderate as to be expected for a downtown P-burg location to cover costs for this husband and wife owned/operated business.

We had a bacon burger and fish sandwich that arrived about 45 minutes after ordering. My partner said the burger was good. I tried it and it was okay. The fish on the fish sandwich was great. It was lightly breaded with a melt in your mouth crunch, however, the slaw is just plain shredded cabbage that falls off the sandwich as you eat. The remoulade sauce is ok. The bun was grilled and of good quality. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries are delicious and unlimited. I would come back for the fries.

It's in a shopping Center Plaza kind of off of the main road. I have been before but just for a beer. We sat at the bar area and the bartender was really nice. Sorry I didn't get her name. You can tell there's a lot of regulars that come here but we were treated just the same. They have about 10 taps and had a few ipas on there for me. What I really like is the prices. An IPA for $5? Can't hardly find that anymore. So we had two rounds of beer each and got two appetizers. I spinach dip and some pepperoni egg rolls. Both were actually really good. Spinach dip could use some more seasoning but that just seems to be the case almost everywhere anymore. Food came out fast and was delivered hot. Beer was Ice cold. It's kind of a small spot so you're either going to sit at the bar or at one of the few tables that are around the bar area. Lots of TVs around the bar. $31 for both of us. I do recommend.
