Its the lack of waiter's and service. Over 6 min for a host to seat you, over 15 min wait for a server to great you at the table and over 45 min to get coffee and the food. As for the food everyone knows what they serve and the taste so I won't talk about it. The ambiance is louder then normal but the experience make the overall ambiance suck.. Not a very good experience for a food establishment that bears an Icon in the industry. Had breakfast with my daughter I have no idea how they prepared the bacon and eggs I thought they may of used oil from the fryer. The bacon and eggs were fowl tasting, I hate to give bad reviews but management should take the time to sit and eat what their kitchen prepares and then make changes appropriately. Giving this two stars because the food was decent. I went here a week ago with my husband and son. When ordering, the waitress told us she doesn't have a specific soda we wanted but when I asked if they have any soda at all, she said no. Now, I know that isn't true. She made judgmental comments as we ordered. For our family of 3; we order 3 entrees. Seems like a normal amount of food. The waitress was commenting that we ordered too much food and that we should downsize in the amount of food we were ordering. I thought that was odd. Usually they upsell, not make your order less. Not to mention, we didn't even order a lot. We always take home what we order if we don't finish our food. I thought her comments were rude and unprofessional. It made us very uncomfortable. We walked in and the waitress was accommodating and nice, she was attentive to everything. We got the Bacon temptation omelette, poblano eggs benedict, breakfast sampler, cinnastack pancakes, and milkshake. My omelette was delicious with lots of bacon and cheese, the eggs benedict was pretty good but the hollandaise was weird, bitter. All I heard during my experience was idiot employees complaining about working. The omelet I ordered, which I've ordered in no less than 20 other cities, was terrible. It was 40% smaller than all other omlets I've ever served in the past at other IHOP locations. The eggs were beyond overdone. The coffee tasted like it sat on the burner for the last 20 hours. We realized that we hadn't specified well-done, but the waitress didn't ask either--she told us they weren't supposed to ask? We asked if we could get the cooked veggies (beans or broccoli) just plain, without their standard garlic butter, but no. The service was pretty good. The prices were OK (everything feels more expensive these days though). I had the sirloin steak tips and eggs, and it was unbelievably good - so much better than I expected. I don't normally bother with ratings, especially for chains, but yea, it was good. Easy parking. So, I'm giving 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. My husband thought the food was good quality. 2. The waitress was really nice. Otherwise, I would have only given 2 for my experience. 1. I asked for water and never got it. 2. I ordered turkey bacon and they didn't have any. There's no one here and they have a limited menu and they don't have an item in the menu. Disappointed. 3. We sat at our table for 15+ minutes with no server stopping to ask us what we would like to drink or eat, so we left. I only made this review because I was in the service industry for years and know how to pick up slack if other servers are held up. IHOP is IHOP, one of the things I like about this place is the consistency from the restaurant to the other. I am we wish they still serve real maple syrup like they did years ago not the fake stuff. On the menu was bacon sausage ham eggs and hashbrowns with a side of bread and pancakes. With nothing exceptional, it was just good old ihop along with the consistency it has. It was a good breakfast with excellent service. They came out with this new dish called cereal pancakes, I don't know who came up with that idea but as the movie says "run Forrest run" I didn't try it and I know I never will read more

Not what it used to be. My friends and I would frequent this ihop almost weekly before the pandemic. I believe this particular location might have been hit HARD. All the servers we had come to know are gone, and though there was some decent turnover before, now it's like there's a new staff every week. Food also seems to have gone down in portion, and they got rid of my very favorite menu item (their iced coffee!) in all, I sort of feel like (this is alleged) management doesn't treat their workers very well, and that's a shame. This was our third and last attempt at this location. This time the food was hot and came out fresh, last time we were not so lucky. Servers are generally cranky or just don't care. We were her only table, and still messed up the order. Maybe she should have wrote it down if she wasn't able to remember it. Two sets of silverware were dirty at our table. Had coffee and some sauce on them. Waited on drink refill for a good bit of time, each time the beverage was gone dry before a refill made its way. Her child was also part of our service team??? I love Ihop family feast breakfast for take out or delivery. But I noticed that PC Ihop does not give you enough gravy for the biscuit & gravy meal.
