Was at IHop on 4/23 for the third time and again it was fabulous. I ordered the BLT off the value menu. It was delicious and their fries also are good. I definitely do not recommend. There is nobody in the front end. Do you have to wait down a server just to be seated. The manager is on her cell phone in the back and she brings her kids to work with her. Nobody is doing their job and everybody servers. Managers are all on their cell phones. This is by far the worst IHOP I've ever been to. I ordered the endless pancake, coffee and water. When the food came, I had to ask for silverware, napkins stuff that all should be there. Never got my water refill and never was asked if I wanted any more pancakes, even though it was endless. I sat around waiting for over an hour to be seated, and no one on staff bothered to speak with us on a time estimate. When finally seated, the staff proceeded to ignore us for another half hour, the only words spoken were to tell us to move and to give us our menus. To make it all the better, the menus also had no prices on it. Well, they did, but they were all 00.00, which isn't very helpful. Walked in and no hostess. Only 4 customers in there. I should have known that was not a good sign. I waited till a waitress walked by and asked if my wife and I could sit at the first table. She said sure. As we were sitting Chelsea runs over and yells "Next time you come here wait to be seated!" "What?" I asked and said "the waitress said it was OK." She replied "Well, you have to wait for a hostess because we assign seating by areas." I replied "Wow, are you rude, I asked to be seated and was told I could sit". By the time the waitress came back and said she told us it was OK to sit, Chelsea was giving us her attitude and said if we didn't like it we could leave. I asked to talk to the manager and she said she was the assistant manager and in charge, and it we didn't like it we could leave! We said we would and she said fine and don't come back! Came here today for brunch with my mom. The lady who sat us, Queen, was lovely and very friendly. The manager was actually our waitress and she was very good too. We come into a completely EMPTY restaurant. Not more then 5 minutes after we sit down they sit a woman 4 feet from us. I'm calling corporate now they have done this 3 times in a row to us. Worst experience while dining in my entire life! Upon arrival the hostess Mikayla was completely rude and sat us after about 10 minutes when the place had about 2 couples eating. We had no issues with the waiter although service was slow.. to include this entire time there was no type of management in the building whatsoever. While delivering our plates of food the girl Mikayla completely dumped my cousins plate of food all over her on purpose and just walked away laughing. As she was across the building we asked if it was funny and she nodded at us.. all of this was due to some issues this girl Mikayla had with some of our family.. The management has been notified and IHOP Corporate will be notified to ensure this issue will be resolved. This individual and her behavior should have no place in such a establishment. read more

We were shown to our seats quickly, that was pleasing. We were moved because the seats weren't done being cleaned. We asked our server for(you guessed it)a gluten free menu. The guy says "we don't have one", we ask "do you have markers in the menu?" he says "we don't have anything that's gluten free". I say " your eggs, drinks, meat should all or mostly be gluten free". He says "I don't know what gluten is". Then we ask for the manager, she comes out stating they can't "guarantee" gluten free because the kitchen isn't gluten free. Then she just walks away. We politely excuse ourselves, it's horrible that a restaurant that is over 50 years old suffers from such incompetence from the waitstaff to management. We've been to this ihop before but this experience has turned us away completely and possibly forever. How can you say "we have nothing that is gluten free" and then in the next sentence say " I don't know what gluten is"??????? It's Christmas Day and at 6:45pm. We walked in and waited for 10 minutes, just to be told that they closed at 6 pm. The sign on the door said Christmas Day was open until 8pm. This was the Manager on duty that said the location closed at 6 pm (which would have been 30 minutes before we walked in) He didn't apologize first. I would have expected an apology and been told something along the lines of, due to under staffing we're closing early. No, he looked at us like he was confused as to why were standing in line (with now 4 families at this time). I would not be going back. As we were walking out, the other family that was walking out after paying said they will not be coming back either because their food was cold/gross and the wait was not worth it! read more

Myself and my grands stopped in for pancakes. Simple task right, no not so. We walked in had to wait for the hostess to be seated. Only got worse. Everyone around us were getting menus water etc. we sat for 30 minutes patiently waiting. My grandson brought up a great point, there were only a few people in the place. The manager is so unprofessional , cocky and rude. His aim is to say I OWN IT ! What I mean is asking for warm syrup is a no no in " his " restaurant. So whatever you do if it's not hot coffee being hot or cold water being cold because those are the thing s that's suppose to be this way he will never go above and beyond to make you happy something simple as warming up syrup he says . Easily the best joint in town. The food gets better and better every time I go there. The service there is just fantastic and the people there are very nice. I love the food there because it can just fill you up. I think that driving from Milwaukee is worth it. For the crepes because they ate the best in America and the world and also the bacon is the best you can get. The pancakes are great. read more

Waited at front 10 minutes, was sat by a polite young lady as she was leaving. I sat in the booth 10 minutes again without being acknowledged l. I called the restaurants phone number from the booth only then was I acknowledged. In that time I watched the manager come in , walk out , get his mask . Return , the waitress who finally acknowledged me offered me a free meal. I ordered hot tea and a BLT. The manager delivered the bill with a discount without even acknowledging the problem. After being turned away by Dennys Management just down the street for a big party. We showed up and one server who was serving the entire restaurant was more than happy to sear us and serve our table. Her attitude as super pleasant and welcoming. When I first came here a week ago, the service was bad, I was waiting forever for my coffee and to order, I kept asking another server for things. He was great and helped a lot, which he then took on our table. I believe his name is Jonathon and he was outstanding. My mom and I came back a second time and things were even better. Jonathon took care of us and he made sure everything was perfect, which it was. My favorite item are the crapes but I do wish it came with a side item, the price is 10$ and kind of expensive for just two items. I've gone here a few different times for breakfast and its been just ok. I'm not sure if they have different waitstaff but I came here early on a Saturday morning and got Brian as my waiter. He was on top of his game! Came to check on us a few times, was personable and friendly and always asked if we needed anything else. He even brought me more french vanilla creamer without asking when he saw that i was using them, and kept the coffee flowing. He even heated it up when it got a little cool. Went here on Sunday morning with my wife and kids. Got there by 8am. Was not very crowded when we arrived. There was a line about 3 deep to get a table as the guy working the front counter was stuck on the phone taking a call in order. Nobody came out to help out for a while. Finally we were seated. Waitress seemed friendly when she came to take our order. The main problem was how long it took to get our breakfast. We must have been waiting for a half hour. For pancakes and eggs! We always go out to breakfast on the weekend and never have to wait this long for our food. Food was pretty good, nothing extraordinary. Pancakes not the greatest. Though the facility was very organized, the kitchen was not. I ordered a Mtn Dew and it was spilled all over the table and myself. It took over 45 minutes for food to come while you could hear the whistle in the wind from the lack of customers. One of the people I was with ordered the pancakes with no whipped cream and it came with whipped cream. Mistakes do happen, but that doesn't excuse that all of the pancakes we ordered were flat and flavorless. I couldn't even swallow the pancakes. The bacon was more soggy than my shorts that got soda spilled on them. iHop as a whole is a great restraunt, just not this particular facility. read more

Stopped in for breakfast had the southwestern scrambled egg breakfast. Wasn't too bad ask for a for some sour cream on top of the salsa/ avocados ended up with a small bowl for 99 cents extra no notice of the extra charge. Place was not very busy at all this was around 930 or so. I counted 4 tables that needed to be bussed only one Hispanic fella doing anything with the tables. The floor was littered with trash and food debris. He was filling all the sugar packets, silverware etc. Lady named Her Tammy bussed all the tables and the Hispanic fella helped. The wait staff were too busy carrying on with each other and the cooks. Service was fast from start to finish, I'll give them that. I had no spoke n the my silverware went to get a spoon and was handed a whole new silverware package. Attention to details!!! Big deal in the restaurant business. I've eaten much better food all across the country and I usually have much better quality from IHOP. Need to step up their game. read more
