Well I have never walked out of a restaurant but I guess there is a first for everything. Was craving a burger but thought maybe would have breakfast for lunch. Went in and stood at the front counter. I was seen by one of the servers but ignored. Sign said wait to be seated so we waited. One of us went to the bathroom while we waited. Looking around I saw only a few tables were occupied so it wasn't busy. Looked like I was seen by other servers but no one came to seat us. When m my other party returned from using the bathroom at stood there for another minute before deciding to go across the parking lot to an Asian restaurant instead. Really didn't want to leave as I was looking forward to some IHOP food. But I guess it wasn't our day. So my business went elsewhere. read more

I have a major issue being k kicked out and told they were closed and hour before their posted close time

Last week we were in the area. I was skeptical about coming here based on reviews but Samuel held it down by himself with just a cook on shift with him. When we ordered and he didn't write it down I was like " oh okay" and when the order came and it was perfect I was in shock. Meal was great, service was even better. Left $20 tip but would've left more for Samuel if we had it, his customer service skills were phenomenal and the dude honestly deserves a raise. read more

First time in this location. Looking for a bite to eat before we go on the highway. Not my choice to go here but it is what it is. Ordered a burger and the lady ordered breakfast. It took so long for the food to come out. There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time no idea what took so long the ladies breakfast was sad, the bacon was over cooked and the eggs were dry. The burger I got had the same burnt bacon on tapped and was cooked way longer than a burger should be cooked. Waitress was very nice. read more

We always have a fabulous experience at the Seabrook IHOP. Always able to find a table, great music playing, and one of the best BLTs ever. They just added it to the value menu, so for $6. Our waiter Samuel was excellent. He was also overseeing way too many tables and racing back-and-forth to meet the needs. Requested crispy bacon and I'm not sure what we received. It was scary and we opted not to eat it. They did bring back crispy bacon as requested- the same, no taste and questionable on how fresh. The blueberry pancakes were nothing extraordinary . We are not from the area and we're excited to be able to find an IHOP but we would not go back. The ambience was one of understaffing, overstressed limited waiters, which understandably is an issue wherever you go, but there was not a relaxed feeling in the restaurant which made everything feel uncomfortable.. When we got there the waitress was rude and didn't sit people down when there were many seats open. We waited over 30 minutes and didn't get all of the food we order. the coffee was also disgusting. I ordered the breakfast combo, and the eggs were WAY too undercooked. The egg whites were still liquid, and so we asked the server to cook the eggs more. But we never got the eggs back, plus there were some other foods on that plate that weren't finished/ eaten at all. They took away food that we PAYED for and we didn't get to even eat a lot of it because of the raw eggs. We asked for a straw when we started eating, and the server said "sure, I'll go get that right now." We did not get a straw. When we looked at the receipt they charged us more for whipped cream when we did not get any. our server gave us the stink eye when we asked her to cook the eggs more. We ordered the medium eggs and the eggs were like water. The napkins also had a stain on them. read more

I ordered the Split Decision Breakfast and had a surprisingly great experience. I noticed the location has a pretty low star rating, so I didn't go in with very high expectations, but the service completely changed that. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out right. My order arrived hot and exactly how I asked for it. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and everything tasted fresh. Even though the rating might make people hesitant, the service I received was genuinely excellent and made the visit really enjoyable. The lady who was at the counter didn't greet us or give us her name, she just said to come this way and seated us. The water we got tasted awful, like the ice came from the bottom of the ice machine. The same lady was our waitress, and she completely forgot about the coffee my wife ordered for 30 minutes (all the while chit chatting with various regulars she recognized), and when she remembered she gave out the thermos but not the cup, only grabbing it after she came around again and we told her. We also had to wait for our pancakes for 50 minutes, and when my wife got hers, the blueberries on top were still frozen. When it came time to pay, she placed the check on the table without looking at us or really talking about it, and after I paid when she came back she gave my credit card to the wrong person at another table. I love it here! I've only gone here 3 times. But all the waitresses are super nice! Today i went to go get some pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. I was only waiting for a couple of seconds when a waitress saw me and gave me a nice welcome. The atmosphere here is okay, a little bit dirty but not noticeable. My food is perfectly cooked, not a single rude worker, and more! A nice lady greeted me and asked what I'd like for to-go, I said pancakes bacon and hash browns. She was also very patient and nice. So, Monday Afternoon I decide to go to this IHOP with my Aunt and Grandma, we enter at first no one was at the front desk, I feel cold and wait for a waiter to come assist me, this lady name Laurie super nice by the way, we're seated we order drinks I got orange juice that was 4 dollars, my aunt and grandma got coffee for 3.69, super expensive , I then got A JR burger with a side of fries that was 8.79 dollars my grandma got a Rise and Shine meal that was 9.99, then we waited 20-30 minutes for our food cause only 2 waiters were on the job, the music was great, loved it, I liked how the pictures on the wall were Js food to make me hungry while I waited, when we got our food I was excited to dig in but then when we were finished waiting for the bill and got a tip she was so busy running around she forgot about us and the bill so we sat waiting for about 20 minutes when then we finally got up and walked over and asked for the bill, after we payed we walked to the car, honestly 3 stars. It is poorly run, poorly staffed and has a major law suits currently underway for sexual harassment of a 17 year old in addition to an discrimination suit. We ate there this morning . The food was typical but our poor waitress was obviously worn ragged. She claimed she was only making less than $3 an hour. There is never anyone at the front desk to seat you. I have never been there without having to wait for a long time yet there are always empty clean tables. I went to meet some friends for breakfast the other morning and everyone was super friendly this restaurant even though they only had two servers it was very fast seating we only waited about three minutes. They were so patient with us as we took several minutes to look at the menu however they did bring over pictures of coffee and water right away and then left us alone for a good 1015 minutes before they came back again to check and see if we're ready to order anything special within order the food they were accommodating to change out some things like on my plate which will see on the pictures I didn't like sausage they put all bacon on it just really considerate kept the coffee cups full we were there well over an hour and a half to two hours and they never once pushed us to leave didn't rush us to get the check or anything I would definitely go back there or recommend this as a stop for someone getting off the highway wanting really good food and knowing that you're going to get the best food in the best service read more

Once I got seated, she told me it would take a while to get my food because they are shorthanded. 20 minutes later I get my food and it is prepared incorrectly. One would think 4 people waiting tables could take care of 12 patrons, but apparently not. 5 Minutes to be seated, and another 10 for the waitress to ask if we wanted anything to drink. Extremely rude manager at the front desk. She blatantly showed me and my family how she disrespects her staff, she legit had no care that the whole lobby heard her. We entered ihop and a wonderful super sweet waitress told us that someone will be right back to talk to us. The rude manager came stomping around the corner & told her that she worded it wrong and to say it differently next time then proceeded to shoo her away making her feel awful. My wife and I were the only ones in the place late day, we got seated right away, the waiter was nice, but the food took a long time to come and it was cold, we got coffee and it was cold as well, I had to ask for gravy for my food even though it was supposed to come with it and it came out cold, sent mine back t o get reheated, after it was ok. Stopped in with my wife and it took roughly 20 minutes before we saw any worker/were seated, the food wasn't very good and after we were finished we sat around another 20 minutes before we saw our server for our check. The only reason I didn't give this a one star is it seemed the issue steams from lack of employees and insufficient training which isn't necessarily the fault of the server I suppose. read more
