Very casual ambiance restaurant relaxing. The service was excellent and prompt. Had a margarita which was pretty good and then got a 22oz bone-in ribeye which was cooked perfectly came with a salad and vegetables.

Changing my rating because Thiago rushed a very sentimental last dinner between my sister and I before I move. I consistly come here with family and this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a texas roadhouse. He made it very clear he wanted us to leave and put the card reader to pay right in front of me when I'm very aware of how to cash out. My sister even apologized to me after which should never be the case after a dinner somewhere. I hope you guys figure this out because it's been bugging me for days. You're paying for an experience as well as the food and this was really sad.

I ordered prime rib rare as I usually do. It came basically raw with a little bit of charring around the edges. The waitress did not come to check on us until we were almost done our meals. She offered to take it back but it was too late to bother. I would have contacted the manager from home but there is nothing on their website to allow that. It will be a long time before we return.

    Frank, having a burger.

Service was terrible, nobody checked on us, we had nothing to drink. Waited for the food for 32 minutes for a burger that was cold and french fries were old and cold. They had just opened and the servers were playing with a little ball trying to knock menus down. Been there 4 times, always had a problem, went there with 7 family members and 3 Filet Mignons were overcooked and had to go back. They were replaced but a manager never came to check the table because the family did not eat together. STAY AWAY FROM TEXAS ROADHOUSE IN METHUEN.

The food was perfectly cooked how i like it. The service was great nice and quick service. Roman was a really great server he was very sweet and nice. 10/10

Texas Roadhouse is always a good night out - steaks for all! Came here on a Tuesday night and it was a pretty packed house even at 8:20pm. My family and I enjoyed, way too much I might add, the complimentary bread and in-house made cinnamon honey butter. You can smell it when walking in at the hostess station. Compliments first off, to our server Sophia. She was very friendly and checked in on us a few times throughout our dinner. Service with a smile - even when she had to deliver disappointing news - the prime rib I wanted was sold out. Apparently medium rare is the favorite and that's what I really wanted but alas... Moving on. Did you know - you can pick your cut of meat and actually hand pick it from a display case? That makes this steakhouse different from the rest. Ribeyes for three of us - all medium rare. The 12 oz steaks were well seasoned, very tender and just enough fat around the edges to give you that marble goodness. Great minds think alike as we all ordered same sides as well - loaded baked potato or loaded mash. Someone ordered corn and mixed veggies. Eat your greens! (I opted for a Cesar salad as my second side). Each entree comes with two sides - rice, corn, fries, baked potato or mashed, sweet potato mash, mixed veggies or house/Cesar salad. Plenty of options. There was also a steak (sirloin) and shrimp combo that looked to be quite a deal so that was ordered. And of course, the kids size Mac and Cheese. (Looks to be the boxed Mac but still good). My kiddo likes that and for the first time, didn't finish her fries which came as a choice of side...I should mention, she ate like 4 rolls. LOL Too stuffed for dessert so we passed but maybe next time. Everything was delicious and we never felt rushed despite the fact that we stayed 'til closed.

    Dry unglazed rolls!

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender with a smoky glaze that had just the right balance of sweet and savory. The brisket was juicy and flavorful with a nice smoke ring, and the pulled pork was perfectly shredded and packed with flavor -- it didn't even need extra sauce (though their BBQ sauce on the side is delicious). The sides were just as good as the meat. The mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and comforting, and the cornbread muffins were soft, slightly sweet, and a great balance to the smoky meats. Portions were very generous, the food was still hot when it arrived, and everything tasted freshly made. Overall, this was one of the best BBQ meals I've had in a long time, and I'll definitely be ordering again! Highly recommend if you're a BBQ lover.

This is their first yelp review in almost 4 years ... what's that about?…read more Anyways, I've been trying to sample their food for almost 2 years now and it's been impossible because they've been private catering exclusive for about that long now. Im glad they are doing so well but the thing is that if a food truck is doing this good that it is booked for private catering pretty much every week of the year, then by god they better have something special! So I keep checking their Facebook posts to see if they are ever going to offer a public date. They hardly ever post anything on their Facebook. And even when they do it's just teasing because it's stuff that I can't get unless I book them for myself. Finally a post comes along in July 2021 "We'll be at the Grass Drags!" in October. I had it written on my wall so I would never forget. I've never been to the grass drags but I was determined to get their BBQ. I didn't look into it, shame on me, but apparently I had to get a ticket to get in. Place must have been just as busy, if not MORE, as the friggin Big E! I think it was $20 a ticket, so I had to cough that up for me and my girl. $40 down the drain already. Oh and that was after the mile long walk to get into the place. We found the Hickory Stix truck easily enough only to find out that ... all they had were pulled meat sandys ... and some sides ... no sliced brisket, no ribs (you know ... the things that imply the name "Hickory Stix") Im sorry, when I want to taste the art of a BBQ place I need to eat their Ribs at bare minimum. Sliced Brisket is Second. Pulled stuff if there is nothing else, I don't ever EVER EVER Need it on a Sandwich! And yet that's all they had. So they had like a slider sampler combo, like a pulled Chicken slider, a pulled Pork slider, and chopped Brisket slider. And some Mac and Cheese and Beans. And that was something stupid expensive I can't even remember. And thinking my girl doesn't usually eat this stuff and there is tons of other food options around that I KNOW she'll like ... She waits till I'm about to pay for my order and she orders a pulled chicken sandwich ... And I can't make a big deal out of it in front of everyone so I have to dish out another $20 or whatever. So I've pretty much spent $100 now and I didn't even get to taste the one thing I thought I was going to get. Naturally she only eats about 1/3 of her sandwich which was the size of the slider that I got and I didn't even want to eat it. Short review time. All the meat was cold, but nothing gross, Beans were okay, Mac and cheese was excellent, Cornbread was meh, Slaw was terrible, done. Oh! And then my girl wanted lemonade and a caramel apple and candied nuts and french fries and friggin jerk chicken over rice that she took 2 bites of and said she didn't want it anymore ....... I spent about $200 that day for nothing. Tried to enjoy the grass drags and water drags for about a minute just so I could get something out of the day .... and then she complained it was too loud and wanted to leave ..... So anyways, I'm single now.

The BBQ platter included three sliders, beans, cornbread, and one other side (mac-n-cheese). The BBQ was good, what you could taste, as they put a tiny little speck of meat on the hearty buns. They certainly could have been more generous with the BBQ at ~ $4/sampler. I added some of their sauce to my sliders and it was flavorless - a brown liquid that wasn't sweet, sour, or tangy. The beans were a bit spicy and quite good (contained pineapple - a nice touch) and the corn bread fresh and moist. The mac-n-cheese was dry, luckily they only included about half a teaspoon of this side.

Anyways, Crack'd Kitchen totally lives up to its namesake, for every single egg product here utilizes (wait for it).....REAL cracked eggs!! This may seem like a rudimentary feature. But when you take into consideration how many short-order breakfast places rely on liquid or processed egg, things like this are graciously appreciated by those of us with a palate above that of a seven-year-old. So, I had an opportunity to try this place out both to-go and dine-in. Right upfront, I will say the food is far superior when enjoyed dine-in style. Given the distance from my house, I can aptly say we'll be mostly opting for dine-in (unless the dining area is hella crowded). For to-go, I tried the Country Breakfast whilst the dine-in meal was one of their sammiches; The Basic, to be precise. Overall, both were little short of greatness in their own ways. Though, I made a few casual observations. As mentioned earlier, this stuff is way more enjoyable inside the restaurant. Ergo, I probably should have reversed which meal I ordered when. Despite that minor setback, I think I actually liked the Country Breakfast more than the sammich. Whilst the former carries decently well as a to-go plate, the latter could have benefited from some seasoning on the eggs. I guess that's why they also offer sandwiches with various special sauces. Not gonna lie....I am slightly curious about their honey-sriracha sauce. One day I shall be brave enough to fancy it. One other complaint I have about the platter specifically: you only get half as many hashbrowns with the meal. For....some reason. Meanwhile, I ordered a side of hashbrowns with my sandwich and it came with six. I would assume that'd be the standard across the board so....make it make sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Btw....I should probably mention the only reason I'm stuck on this point is because the hashbrowns themselves are amazeballs! They don't even need ketchup, but comes with it if you fancy that sort of thing. A few other housekeeping deetz: their gender ambiguous restrooms are located toward the back entrance. There is also complimentary water for folks dining in. So, yeah. We'll certainly be revisiting this place from time to time. Perhaps I'll even try a couple of over-easy eggs at some point. Till then, Crack'd Kitchen and Coffee in Salem gets 4 cracked eggs with bacon and beautifully seasoned hashbrowns out of 5.
