HOW I LOVED BEING A SERVER AT I HOP!!!!! HOW I LOVED AND SERVED MY CUSTOMERS... for IHOP in Shelby NC this past year. I was a Top Notch Waitress at this location. I was wrongfully terminated. Discriminated against, over worked & underpaid. I can not believe that I got tangled up in such a unorganized establishment. I over qualified for the position. Kristie little hired me and fired me. She was very rude and very unprofessional. I noticed she kept wanting me to lie on my tip reports weekly stating that it would make my taxes with the IRS with IHOP correct. I did not opt to do that. I told her I would enter the amount I was truthfully making. Afterwards I started to have issues with her. I had issues with her being disrespectful and fast talking me. But I will not stand for the way I got treated or wrongfully terminated. NC LAWS ARE SO OUT OF THIS WORLD. YOU GET TERMINATED IN NC WITHOUT REASON? NOW IM NEEDING A LAWYER. Kristie little and summer are shift supervisors at this location. Summer was going against everything kristie was doing on sepearate shifts. One shift goes one way second shift another. I actually got fed up with the wishy washy ways of the both because they worked against eachother and not for the company. This caused the whole staff to be off track because kristie and Summer are unorganized & unprofessional. She never smiles unless she has to. I brought every piece of happiness, excellent customer service and every customer I served left satisfied and happy. Why was I fired with a false letter stating I was rude and nasty unfalse statements. Kristie said I could not have proof nor see the cameras of this happening. So I know it was a lie and that all accusations of me being rude were false. The hostess Judy is racist and does not like black people. She only talks to them if she has to and kristie as well. Like pulling teeth with the employees and mgmt maintain my job performance. I am very unhappy and going through pain & suffering.summer made me leave my IHOP off of my shift just because she did not like the me. Two days later I was called in to talk with kristie little about my position. Only to get fired for a false written statement against me. I worked hard and I worked very professional and I think I may have had over qualified for IHOP in Shelby. The waitresses were competitive instead of team working against each other. Basically I got over worked underpaid & wrongfully terminated. All of my customers left satisfied & happy. They also came back to see me as their waitress. I know I was a great waitress. Try checking Kristie little and mgmt on paying customers meal tickets just so they will come back. That's why food cost is up. They were always out of items leaving customers unhappy and the servers serve who they want to. Some of the white waitresses will not happily serve black customers & the hostess just will not sit a black waitress. I had customers coming back for business. This wasn't my first rodeo with a food service job or job but if they have pathetic management as such I experienced. I've gotten terminated before, won't be my first or last but I will say this i got fired by kristie little showing me a "hand" written letter saying it was written by a customer that complained on me. The letter stated that I was rude, nasty and a bad server. We all know that was not true and is not true! Ask anyone who seen me waitress there or I served! Turn over rate ridiculous!
