mannnnnnn I will never come here again. I don't even want to give ONE star. Aight boom. So I pull up for curbside pick up right? There's two ladies standing outside smoking cigarettes. I didn't even know they worked there because when I pulled up, they just stared in the car and went back to smoking their cigarettes. I sat in the car for at least 5 minutes before seeing no activity in the store. I then figured maybe I need to be on the other side of the building. I pull off and quickly return after realizing that was the only pickup area. They stare in the car once again for THIRTY SECONDS and STILL STAND THERE. Like do you think I pulled up and sat here just for my health???? Gimme my damn food!!! I guess they finally realized I was there for curbside pickup and they go inside the store. I watched them handle my food and neither one of them washed their hands after smoking that disgusting cigarette. No hand soap, no hand sanitizer, or any type of procedure to make sure the food gets from their hands to the customer safely. The service at this IHOP was the best service I've ever had at an IHOP! The waiter was attentive and the food was brought out promptly. I got the Mexican Churro pancakes which were great. A little too sweet because of all the cinnamon sugar mixture between the pancakes but it tasted just like a cinnamon roll. The eggs were really fluffy and creamy. read more

I would've given them 1 star as the food was horrible and the Hostess seemed confused and overwhelmed with the Sunday rush. What gave them the additional 2 stars was our waitress, even though she was overwhelmed with patrons in her section, she still was very attentive and pleasant (I forgot her name, but she works in the back with the family booths). Another mark against the hostess as they shouldn't seat everyone in the same section around the same time. I so wished I had read the reviews before I went to this location. This review is about service and food. I have only been to IHOP once before, more than 20 years ago because the food is just not that good. But I took a chance again on May 12, 2021, thinking they had improved, because I was waiting for someone in the area. I went in and was seated right away. My server came to my table and took my order. She even commented that she liked my jacket. ( Comments don't sway me for a better tip.) Anyhow, she took my order and she disappeared. When coming for breakfast, first thing is coffee, which I asked for. 10 minutes go by, then 15. I asked another staff to find my server. When she finally arrived I asked for coffee. Her response "Oh you want it now and not with your breakfast?" It took her another 10 min. to bring coffee. She then proceeds to spill the coffee on my chair and table. (I know, I know things happen.) My meal comes about 10 mins. later and as suspected, it wasn't good. The omelet tasted like fake eggs, I asked for crispy bacon. Two small strips of bacon that were not crispy - I know not her fault. The hash browns were horrible...not my idea of potatoes. I did manage to each some of the pancakes and the coffee was good. I did want another cup of coffee but she never showed back up!! The whole time I'm sitting at the table, my server not once comes back to check on me...it wasn't crowded. When she finally does come back, I ask for my check - after asking another staff to find her. Many of the staff were not wearing their masks correctly. Place is super busy on Sundays. I've always been seated quickly, though. The food is consistent but the wait staff isn't. We have gotten great service but there are times in which we don't. Made an online order for pick up. Afterwards, I read the reviews and many, that were recent, stated that the employees were either wearing their masks incorrectly or not wearing them at all. I asked the employee on duty and the manager for a refund, or even store credit, after I explained to them what the reviews stated and that I did not want the food. They basically refused my request. I had to call corporate; the first point of contact did not think my claim was reasonable either if the employees were wearing their masks incorrectly in the dining area, as long as they were wearing them in the kitchen. I had to explain that germs travel, and if they are not wearing them correctly in an area where many people can see them, the chances of wearing them where they will not be seen is even lower. I could tell he still thought I was being irrational but still inputted my case in the system anyway. My call was returned in 1 business day and the 2nd point of contact was gracious enough to refund my order as well as alert the franchise owner to enforce better covid safety precautions. All considered, I'm grateful I received my money back however it should not have been this difficult or long of a process. People are dying of covid everyday and the customers of businesses, especially food establishments, instill trust into the employees to practice healthy precautions while handling their products--even though there might not be anybody around to monitor them. I am very disappointed with my service at this IHOP. We were seated very quickly by the manager who is a very nice guy. We sat down and about 15 minutes go by and no waiter so we stayed patient and waited. We finally put our orders in and got our drinks. We then didn't see the waiter again until we got our food....40 minutes later and she didn't ask us if we needed anything else or refills (which we definitely needed because we were waiting so long for our food).....we ate our food and she gave us the check assuming that we were together which we weren't so I asked her politely to split it and she rolled her eyes and came back with two checks and two pens....I was teaching my client (who has Autism) how to tip someone and how to sign your name at the bottom of the check which can take a little longer then usual..but instead she came back in 2 minutes and snatched the pens from both of us and just walked away with no "have a nice day" or anything....this was frustrating because I feel like when you're in your 20's waiters don't give you the best service because they don't expect you to tip well...if she would have given me a chance to sign and tip her then she might have gotten a tip......very frustrating....don't go here if you want patience and kindness because you won't get it... read more

Worst restaurant I've ever seen in action. I can testify because I have been a waitress for nearly 10 years in 5 different restaurants. Absolutely no type of systems in this place - everything is EXTREMELY disorganized. To-Go orders are prioritized over seated customers, servers don't appear to have sections, and everyone had to wait forever to get anything. My boyfriend and I waited for 1 HOUR for 2 breakfast meals, both only contained pancakes, eggs, and chicken fingers, which are so quick to cook. No one checked on us while we were waiting, nor while we were eating. My boyfriend got a wrong side with his breakfast and he finished the rest of his food before he got the correct side. A bunch of people who are not trained properly are trying to run this place and it is a MESS. I used to come to this location 10-20 years ago, and it has gone severely downhill since then. Would give this place a zero star review if I could. Walked in and the service was terrible was ignored for maybe 10 minutes before someone came and said, "oh have you been seen?" Heck no! Then we get seated and it takes 20 minutes before we order our food. It comes out and nothing is even remotely similar to what it looks like on the menu. We sat there for 10 mins no one came over to take our drink order. A couple sat at their table ( who came in after us) but was served before us. Manager came over to get our drink order finally. She came back with a bright pink lipstick stains with hand prints on the rim of my cup. Like wtf! Then another couple sat down at a table. Got their food and drinks with no problem. I couldn't stay to eat, I was turned off by the lack of cleanliness. You can smell the bathrooms from the waiting area. There was no one to seat us. You've gotta love IHOP, just know what you're getting into when you walk into the door. This one impressed the pants off of me. They were really busy the whole time we were there, there was a constant flow of people in and out. Our food came out in under 10 minutes. Our waitress was very attentive. Her name was Crystal. The food is really greasy, and can't in ANY way shape or form be good for you, but it really is just tasty. My husband had two stacks of pancakes, which he loved. I had an International Crepe Passport with the Swedish crepes and scrambled eggs. They mixed the cheese in with the eggs instead of just melting it on top, which I prefer. I called to try to make sure it was being delivered and they never picked up. I'm talking calling 7 times times over the course of one hour... I thought maybe they were just busy when I called the first couple times so I waited and tried again. And again. Never picked up to the point of my phone stopped trying to call. They have my phone number too(they asked for it when I placed the order) so they easily could've called me to ask why I wasn't picking up my food, assuming it was even made in the first place. I also was harassed by one of the waitresses AND Baltimore city police officers for simply taking a picture in the restaurant. The service here was amazing! Tacheara seated me, and Chloe was my server, they were very friendly and checked on me frequently. It made my dinning experience at IHop very relaxing. The only negative thing was the Manager should follow her employees example, and smile occasionally. The place smell like a dirty restroom it met us at the door, but we did not know at first that it was the restaurant. Our food was burnt the bacon was burnt there was missing items from the Meal. The waitress did go back and replace it but it was a long wait by the time we got The Replacements my our was cold. The smell was making us sick we were seated towards the front of the restaurant where they have a restroom and it smells like sewage was backing up into the restroom into the restaurant. Then I was brought some burnt chicken strips and I was told that it's a new brand and that's why they're burnt. I asked my waitress Laquisha to remove it from my receipt also we spoke to the manager about the smell and the trash that was on the floor next to our table he did not remove the trash nor did he make a comment about the smell that made my boyfriend run to the restroom, he had to throw up. I got so ill I had to leave the restaurant right away we will not be returning to this IHOP as a matter of fact I think I no longer have an interest in IHOP because of this experience. If I could give 0 stars I would! This was a HORRIBLE experience I will never patronize this location again. Ordered "curbside" during the pandemic. When I arrived to the restaurant I called to tell them I was outside as instructed by the email confirmation for the order. I was told that because of the pandemic they were not "coming out the restaurant." Instead the person who answered the phone said I would have to come into the restaurant to retrieve my food. When I got into the restaurant there was a long table with about 3 large bags. Each had a receipt attached but we're facing in different directions. I had to maneuver around the table to find my bag ensuring not to touch anything until I had found the right one. There was NO visible staff to assists in picking up the correct order. I noticed someone peak out from the kitchen and said excuse me to get their attention I was immediately greeted with an attitude and asked "is something missing?" At that point I hadn't even opened my bag. I asked for butter pecan and was told unfortunately they could only give regular syrup. The person I was speaking to went back into the kitchen area as I proceeded to look through my bag. There was an order of pancakes missing, I saw someone else peep from the kitchen I got their attention and told them pancakes were missing from my order. He proceeded to walk back to the kitchen and was questioned by the female who initially came out about what was missing from my order. When he told her she assured they were in a separate plastic bag (which they weren't) the male came back to me with an attitude telling me that I would need to open each box to prove the pancakes were missing. At that point I began opening boxes and asked why I would need to lie about missing pancakes? He replied people lie about everyone. At that point I asked for a refund for my order. He walked away and was gone about 5/7 minutes. He came back with a box and said "do you want the pancakes or your money?" At that time I said that I had already asked for a refund. He then took the food and placed it on a table that was out of reach due to the restaurant closure. I then said give me a second I want to call my children who the food was for to see if they wanted food from somewhere else. As I made the call the male proceeded to complain in the background saying I needed to make up my mind on whether I wanted to food or a refund. I ended my call and explained that at that point the food was mine because it was fully paid for. I asked for his name and position and was told he was a manager and his name was Al Johnson he and I continued to have an exchange. At this time the female cane from the kitchen and told me that I was "going to sit down and calm down" or they wouldn't give me a refund. She also said she was manager and her name was Evelyn. I told them that I was not going to sit down and wanted a refund with a receipt or proof of refund or my food. She then told me I needed to leave immediately. They both walked away back in the kitchen. At that point I called Baltimore County Police. When the female realized I was on the phone with the police she proceeded to be a lot more professional and processed my refund. When the police arrived I explained the entire situation to them and was told that if the restaurant was operating with curbside service I should not have even been required to enter the restaurant. read more
