Went here with my friend, nobody was eating but was greeted by an amazing young man. I really like how the food was hot and fresh. We got the chicken and waffles and both came out amazing. I was extremely upset at the service at this restaurant. I came here for a quick brunch but what I have experienced is one of the most displeasureable restaurant experiences I've had to endure. Ordering food was an ordeal, I ordered off the menue yet our waiter still had to ask the chef it my order was possible, even though it was printed on the menue. There was an issue with my sweet tea, so I asked for a replacement of regular tea, this alone took WELL over 30 minutes with repeated reminders, each time I was freated with "I'll get it right now" and each time she left the sweet tea on the table and walked to the other side of the restaurant. I ordered a pancake with a face for my son. It comes deformed. I feel so judged as my son is special needs. He begins to cry. This pancake is so disgusting. This IHOP is SUPER FANTASTIC!!!! The employees are extremely respectful and nice, every time I visit they go out of their way to make me happy and feel special! I mainly do breakfast and happy hour pick up orders. Every order is made on time and just as described. I always avoid this IHOP because I have a bad experience every time, but I figured it's been a couple years so I decided to go with my family this time. I regretted it, as usual. They're always understaffed, and this time they had no spoons, no CO2 for their soda machines so no soda, and no bottles of ketchup. It took at least 20 min for our server to initially help us, and when he did he had one AirPod in during our entire stay so he couldn't hear anything. He forgot one of our drinks, mixed up the order and brought out the wrong food, and there was hair in the steak (ordered medium but arrived very well done). After I noticed the hair, I showed it to the server and he and the manager only took 20% off the whole order (about $10) and left the steak on the receipt ($18). It took a minute for the server to come over and take out order. (It seems they do not repeat your order to make sure they have it correctly. ) Order came out within good time. My daughters meal was incorrect. She tried to move forward with it but just didn't like. We let the waiter know and he said that's what she ask for. We told her and we waited for 15 minutes with our menus closed (to let the waitress know we were ready to order) but she was no where to be seen. The resturant was NOT busy. There was only a family eating and no one else. When we were leaving I saw the hostess/waitress walk out of the kitchen with her phone in her hand. Horrible service. Watch out for Ms.Mary! My friends and I thought we were on a prank show. Our server introduced herself to uss as Ms.Mary and from the start she was all over the place. My last friend paid in cash with a 50 and her meal was around 13 dollars so she should have had around 36 in change. When Ms. Mary came back with her change she only gave her 26 dollars. When my friend called her out on it Ms. Mary tried to say it was all the change she had. However after going back and forth with her she finally gave up and pulled the 10 dollars from her pocket. I came here on a Saturday morning around 11am and it was jammed packed. I had a party of 12 and it took about an hour for the restaurant to accommodate us because they do not take reservations. The wait wasn't so bad because we were able to secure seating in the small waiting area.I'd imagine not being as unbothered if I had to stand or wait in front of the cold entrance as people come in and out. The restaurant had another party of 12 who had been sitting down for over 2 hrs (not ordering anything for the last 40+ min of their stay), and my party was waiting for their table. The manager explained the delay to us and offered us coffee while we waited (this was a highlight). The ordering of food once seated was pretty seamless for such a big party (there were a few hiccups, but nothing to ding points for).
