Hair in my T-Bone Steak & Eggs

I always avoid this IHOP because I have a bad experience every time, but I figured it's been a couple years so I decided to go with my family this time. I regretted it, as usual. They're always understaffed, and this time they had no spoons, no CO2 for their soda machines so no soda, and no bottles of ketchup. It took at least 20 min for our server to initially help us, and when he did he had one AirPod in during our entire stay so he couldn't hear anything. He forgot one of our drinks, mixed up the order and brought out the wrong food, and there was hair in the steak (ordered medium but arrived very well done). After I noticed the hair, I showed it to the server and he and the manager only took 20% off the whole order (about $10) and left the steak on the receipt ($18). Honestly, just don't eat here and find another location. Hopefully it's better.

Receipt with gratuity and service charge

I knew better. But I was pressed for time, with 2 hungry kids so, against my better judgement, IHOP it was. Our order was pretty simple: 1 kids burger, no cheese; 1 kids chicken tenders and pancake and 1 regular tenders and fries. If they didn't have tenders they should have just said so. Allow me to make the decision to change my order or accept whatever you throw my way. Tenders were subbed with cut up chicken breast patties, on both plates. Kids burger was served medium. Very few 8 year olds, in my experience, are down with medium burgers Ordered an extra order of fries, which didn't appear until the check came. Server said they were changing the fryer oil. Who does that in the middle of dinner service?!? In addition, there's the forced gratuity that's listed as a gratuity in one part of the receipt and a service charge in another. Needless to say, I won't be returning

Stopped in for breakfast on the way home from the doctor. I really didn't know that IHOP was even there. I am glad that I stopped. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The Big Steak Omelette was very filling. I ended up taking the pancakes home. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

If i could give this place 0 stars then I would. My colleague and I ordered breakfast using the DoorDash app. Once our food arrived it was the completely wrong order. I contacted the restaurant and they stated that the driver picked up the wrong food however, they wanted the initial meal returned prior to giving us the correct order (ummmm.....wtf??). I contacted the driver who stated that's the order they gave them after he stated my name. Long story short, the driver provided us with the right order but there was a DEAD ROACH at the bottom of the stuffed French Toast combo. I'm most certain this was done on purpose giving the size of the insect and its placement. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE ROACHES IN YOUR FOOD.

Then was the pancake quesadilla. It was just a little sweet which was nice with the cheddar cheese and bacon and sausage filling. Last were some tacos: corn tortillas with a ground beef, griddled potatoes, mushrooms, peppers and cheese topped with some gravy. Everyone who loves breakfast needs to get here IMMEDIATELY! We ordered the "do you dare" and received 3 items that were flawless. Perfect flavor profiles, perfect cooks, and we could not come up with one thing a dish needed. We ate the following (newest photos at end) French toast smash burger (no bacon): 15/10 French toast soft interior, crispy out. Smash burgers seasoned well and juicy. Hash brown just right. Nothing needed. Cheesesteak potato pancake tacos: 15/10-steak and potatoes seasoned perfectly. Pancake had crispy edges but still fluffy, sauce added a little kick. Nothing needed. Strawberry Mascarpone wafer French toast: 15/10-The PERFECT "I want something sweet" choice without indulging in cereal or ice cream. The strawberry and light cream were heavenly. French toast had cinnamon, crispy edges and was remarkable. We will be coming monthly to try any new items and concoctions Glen will whip up. A hole in the wall for sure, can not be seen from the street. Limited seating inside and outside. Food was perfect. We ordered the following: Pancake breakfast: 10/10 fluffy, crispy pancakes. Home fries were crisp and seasoned. Perfect for 2 kids to share The Wild West: 10/10 very fresh ingredients, good flavor and portion. Recommend. The Washington Ave: 10/10- I added Feta instead of cheddar and that sent things over. Huge sandwich. Flavor packed. Might want a little more sauce. Cappuccino: 8/10 a little too much milk (hot skim milk) Strawberry mint lemonade: 10/10 I recommend breakfast lovers get here!

We were lucky to get a table for four at 11am on Saturday! Their menu offered creative versions of many classics: $22 Shrimp & Grits of medium-spicy shrimp & Andouille, cheesy-cheddar-grits, and a balanced savory trio of onion, shallots, and chives. Marvellous! Their generous $15 Avocado Toast: sculpted creamy Hass Avocado over bright arugula greens, next to fresh sourdough crunchy toast, with a dish of heirloom cherry tomato awakened with a tangy marinade. Art you can eat, at a nice price. A lovely $20.50 stack of Classic French Toast was chunky powdered sugar over perfectly grilled eggy syrupy brioche under a mound of light whipped-butter, with flavorful soft peach chunks and a large fresh mint leaf. It certainly was delicious! We had $19 light fluffy scrambled eggs over fresh greens and halved cherry tomatoes, with sausage links, over avocado-spread toast. Another delight. It was a calm, refreshing, relaxing brunch. I will say the price seemed a bit high, but it was worth it for the splendid experience among a cheerful, full, room and patio. Happy Mother's Day!

The area near the front window almost feels like a private table. It was definitely giving a great vibe. We checked the menu prior to picking this place and they had EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a big ole brunch of their Grand Marnier Strawberry French Toast which was a three stack of THICCCCC cut Texas bread. It was better than I hoped for! And I brought at least half of it home, because ole greedy butt over here also got the platter with the home fries (I asked for onions and got this caramelized onion topping that was almost a jam. Yummm), the bacon and the eggs your way (scrambled with cheese). My companion had this big ole omelette with a lot of veggies and shared my french toast. The sauce they served with the home fries was sooooo good - it was almost like Heinz 57 sauce but with less of a vinegary bite. The jam that came for my English Muffin was delicious and praise GOD they served butter that wasn't ice cold and unspreadable so yeah hella points for that. For the mimosas, we did the "buy the carafe and the bottle", with a carafe of cranberry juice and a bottle of Cava Prosecco. I loved that we were able to select WHICH bubbles we wanted and for two people it worked out very well price wise. The host (tall guy with a mohawk) and our server (Robyn) were absolutely fantastic. Personable and friendly and very attentive, very much able to answer any questions we had (THANK YOU ROBYN!!!). In short - this place is a gem and yall should go! Be mindful of the parking in the area, but dont let that stop you from a delicious meal in a lovely setting!!

I love its vibe - casual, homey, a little eclectic. The service was also very good. I had a Bloody Mary and their Hangover Hash (fried chicken livers, two eggs sunny side up, home fries, pork sausage gravy, really hot sauce). The Bloody Mary was classic, and I enjoyed it. My meal on the other hand was so-so. The gravy had good flavor, and I thought the home fries were well cooked as well. But the chicken livers were way overcooked for me (they had that chalky texture they get when they're overcooked), which always makes me sad (chicken livers are one of those things that are great when cooked properly but pretty awful when cooked poorly). Just based on the cook on the chicken livers, I would not order the dish again, but I also didn't get the hot sauce at all, and the dish really could have used some acid/brightness since it's a heavy dish. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. I ordered something a bit riskier, and it didn't pay off, but the other dishes seemed hits with my husband and friends. I did enjoy that their menu has some less common brunch items on it! It's not just the same dishes you can get on every brunch menu in the city: duck benedict, shrimp and grits, scrapple benedict, pickle brined fried chicken sandwich... Overall, it's a brunch spot with some traditional, homey charm and a more interesting menu than the average brunch spot. I'd definitely be willing to return and try something else if I'm in the area.

Our waitress was patient and able to score us a booster seat for the one toddler. It's a brunch place with lots of options, including some swanky juices and smoothies. The menu is absolutely enormous and the interior lacks character and charm with uncomfortable bench seating and scarce decor. I opted for an omelette which came with pepper jack cheese, bacon, pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream. The description was unclear about whether it came with home fries and bread or the option of either home fries or bread. When I asked our server about this, he gave me a mixed response and seemed confused himself. I told him IF it comes with bread, I'll need the gluten free option which ended up being pretty good. My boyfriend got the blueberry pancake which he seemed to love. He also got a side of their "million dollar bacon" and "the works" omelette. There was some more confusion from our server who thought he wanted to sub the bacon in the omelette for the million dollar bacon but he ended up asking for our clarification before any mistakes were made. My omelette came out first and it was dry and overcooked. Definitely not a fluffy omelette and the half a spoonful of sour cream wasn't helping. The home fries were SO salty and that's coming from someone who has a savory palate. I couldn't finish them. My boyfriend's omelete came out and was a lighter, different color and looked a lot fluffier which makes me think mine was kept on the skillet too long. The million dollar bacon was just bacon covered in maple syrup. It was so disappointing and definitely not worth the almost $7 for 4 pieces. We had to chase our server down for our check in the end. Our meal ended up being over $50 for the two of us. Considering the quality of the food and service, I wouldn't say it was worth it. This is the kind of place that pretends its "farm fresh" but really is the same quality as IHOP at a slightly more expensive price.

In the sea of massage parlors, tanning salons, and laundromats is a Orchard Market & Cafe, serving up authentic Persian cuisine for 35+ years and counting. Had the fam visiting sis in nearby Pikesville. When we come down she always picks somewhere off the beaten path, something unique. This visit was no exception. Having never tried Persian food, I was excited to try something completely new. In this case, it was new yet also familiar. It's kind of like a mix between Indian and Mediterranean. You've got your assortment of stews and grilled meats infused with saffron, cardamom, and turmeric served of course with a side of basmati rice. The Mediterranean influence can be seen in their homemade hummus and use of fresh fruit and vegetables. There is perhaps no better example than the Mango Pear Salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, mango, pear, Bulgarian feta and pomegranate vinaigrette. If you're feeling up for some true Persian fusion, you can't go wrong with Spicy Kermani Beef, which features succulent filet mignon sauteed with mushrooms and pepperoncinis in a zesty tomato garlic curry sauce. Everything in that brief description is right up my alley, and usurpingly the meal did not disappoint. Service was on point from start to finish, the finish being a tall glass of Persian saffron ice cream. Now this was truly a first for me, as I've never had anything like this in my life. The taste can be described as earthy, slightly floral and very aromatic. Rosewater adds the floral notes, while the saffron gives it the signature golden-yellow color and luxurious scent. Definitely a one-of-a-kind flavor that I highly suggest trying. The dining room is cozy with some neat pieces of art resembling ancient Middle Eastern artifacts adorning the walls. All in all I'm glad we got to try cuisine that doesn't have much representation in this neck of the woods.
