Going above a recommendation, without asking me they actually pre-coordinated that Maria to come to the bridal shop as I picked up my dress so she could perform the initial fitting there and take it back with her to begin working on it. I had trusted them up to this point, so continued to trust their insistence on working with Maria. Although Maria had 7 weeks, my dress never fit correctly, and the whole thing wasn't completed until the night (10 pm drop off) before I left for my wedding. The delays and uncertainty caused me tremendous stress the week before my wedding, to the point that I was losing sleep and searching for backup dresses. My last fitting lasted over two hours because I had to stay and watch her finish the work. I believe she had taken on too many clients, and unfortunately, I ended up being the one who suffered for it. I do definitely recommend Winnie Bridal as place to search for your dress, but do not recommend using their references for other services. We wouldn't have been able to have a wedding celebration at all without Grace! There's just too…read moremany moving parts to a wedding and we've seen others who were just too stressed out during their own wedding planning process who may have had emotional breakdowns. Therefore, just the thought of trying to plan a wedding was too overwhelming for us and we weren't insistent on it. This was especially so since we were planning for a wedding in Southern California while we live in Northern California. However, we needed a wedding celebration because it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing for our families. We opted for partial planning services with Grace, but it honestly felt more like a full planning service. Since our consultation to our wedding day, Grace was a tremendous help. Not only did she provide recommended vendors and reach out to each of them for quotes, but she communicated with them on behalf of us during the entire process and helped us negotiate prices to help us with our budget. When it came to contracts with our venue, she was wonderful at offering suggestions so that we could meet our F&B minimum without sacrificing guest experience. We also wanted to do a short tea ceremony the day of at the venue, and during the process, Grace helped us work with the venue to accommodate that. Grace also joined in on our calls with vendors which was a huge deal, since we weren't familiar with the venue or what was allowed/not allowed. Grace was also pregnant and had delivered a baby during our wedding planning process, but was still answering vendor emails for us and checking in on us that entire time! We also had a specific type of rehearsal/welcome dinner in mind and Grace went and booked the perfect place for us, even checking in to make sure we were aware of plans and where we were with our budget. Our venue was not so great at communicating, so there was an event the day before our wedding (especially annoying since our wedding party had to book flights earlier), but Grace was great at coordinating our family and wedding party to practice a last minute rehearsal the day of the wedding. We also wanted to get a little crafty for our individualized wedding favors which we decided to tape to the back of our menus, so Grace designed the menus with this favor in mind, and also taped each wedding favor to each guest's menu for us! This was a huge help since guest name tags were not finalized until so close to the wedding date and we were already busy with our work lives and other things. During the day-of, Grace made sure that we were on top of things especially with the timeline. She made sure that we were able to enjoy our food and drink enough water, and would be the "bad guy" for us when necessary. She also made sure our vendors were moving according to schedule and would be the go-to person for everything, otherwise we would have to be the ones constantly communicating to our DJ/MC or all the other vendors. Our wedding day worked out perfectly and Grace's designing (which we initially did not care about) was absolutely beautiful! Our guests kept giving us compliments about all the details and how organized and fun the day felt, and then we realized how important having a wedding planner was for such a big day for any couple. It was the best day of our lives and we are so glad that Grace was a huge part of why it happened! We are so glad she was a huge part of our new chapter!

She made sure our wedding day ran seamlessly. Grace prioritized exactly what was important to the bride and groom. Even making sure we ate our dinner! And when the caterer forgot to bring the vegan meals, she handled the situation quickly and without causing any stress to us or our guests. My family and friends were extremely complimentary of their interactions with Grace and were all very impressed with how the day ran. For the bride and groom, being able to enjoy each other and our day without worrying about the details on the day-of is so important. Grace did that and more!

They helped us grow in our confidence! They were both extremely patient and always answered any questions we had. The ones that didn't really regretted it, and the ones that did fully appreciated their planner. So, I took their advice and began my search. Before I thought about venues, or guest lists, I ventured to find a planner and I am SO THRILLED to have found Sherine! Sherine is caring, thoughtful, and filled with love for what she does. My wedding was a Chinese-Indian fusion wedding. On top of the intense traditions, I had to navigate the requests of my MIL and mom. Sherine helped me execute their requests while keeping the events grounded in my husband and my style. It still felt like OUR wedding even though there were a lot of demands placed on us by family. Here are some KEY contributions Sherine made to our experience: 1. She helped us visit and narrow down venues - We live in Texas so she met my in-laws at venues and toured with them. She did NOT need to do this, but to make the family a part of the process, she went above and beyond! 2. She helped us SAVE MONEY by introducing us to cost-effective vendors that were a big bang for our buck. Her vendors are amazing 3. She was a friend - checking in on us and keeping us updated on things. She isn't like other planners who charge for each call and visit beyond the contract. She will be there for you. 4. She took care of ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS like verifying insurance, making sure the contracts were correct, communicating information to the venue about the various vendors (this is A LOT OF WORK and she handled it all!). If you're a bride thinking, "I'm detail oriented, I can handle this on my own".... let me tell you the amount of emotion and stress that is put into a wedding - You'll want someone on your team taking this off your plate. But what I truly loved about Sherine is that she went above and beyond. For her it really isn't about the money. During the week before our wedding, my family hosted a Chinese dinner. Sherine was not paid to work the event, and I invited her to come to enjoy the dinner. She ended up showing up a day before to help me pin a backdrop (bringing materials for me to use), showing up early to the Chinese venue to help set up (her and her friend set up the entire space so my family didn't have to!). My mom asked her if she could do all this, Sherine took one look at me and saw the panic in my face and said, "Yes, I'll come help. I want this week to be perfect for you, so don't worry." (There isn't enough space in a post for me to even begin to express how amazing this gesture was!) The fact that she spent her precious time to come and help speaks to her passion for making her brides' lives easier. Sherine is wonderful; her team is wonderful! If you're a new bride looking for a wedding planner, meet her and see if her personality fits yours. I guarantee you'll have an experience with her that can't be matched by another planner because her work comes from her heart - not from a bottom-line.
