We booked a 10-lesson package with them where they not only choreographed an amazing first dance for us, they also taught us each step we needed to know. We asked them to create a dance for us that started off slow and romantic and then transitioned to something fun and higher energy that would reflect our personalities, and they totally nailed it! The best part was that each lesson didn't feel like a lesson, but just a really fun date night activity, which was a great break during the wedding planning process. They helped us grow in our confidence! They were both extremely patient and always answered any questions we had. My husband and I only had 2 months to whip out a sick dance routine for our wedding first dance, and decided to take the leap with Krista and Kelvin to choreograph. Omg how do I even begin. When you search wedding class dance class they're the top ones to pop out and without a doubt they are definitely the top dance teachers. I called Krista to get more information and she picked up my call right away. She was so sweet and answered all my questions, what instantly drew me in was having her husband Kelvin speak Spanish. It had been so hard finding a great instructor that spoke Spanish, since my now husbands first language (and I) is Spanish we LOVED that Kelvin was able to translate dance moves for him. Even Krista translated!! She is picking up on our Spanish amazingly btw! We originally started dance classes to learn how to dance and not just the typical one two step. Being Mexican it was important that we knew how dance especially on our wedding day. They even learned how to dance Banda for us. Ha. Midway through the classes we decided on the first dance, Krista and Kelvin were so accommodating and created a beautiful dance for us. We had our family join us for some group dancing as well as my brother (who sang for our first dance) to practice with him our dance. We are continuing our dance lessons and we LOVE it so much. We belly laugh in every class and the hour or two goes so fast on all the fun we have! Omg and they film every class so we can practice, although sometimes we don't ha! But that's on us, they either record it with us alone or them joining us so we can perfect it and like Krista says pausa. Haha. They teach us how to feel confident and we enjoy it very much. I walk out of class so happy and content, we even invited them to our wedding I feel like we met some amazing great friends and I am so happy to come back to learn more. Krista and Kelvin are incredible teachers - they are creative, made the choreography fun and easy to learn, and made lessons upbeat and enjoyable. For example, when we showed up to our first lesson and decided to change which version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" we wanted to dance to (when they already had choreography prepared for the other version), they quickly adjusted to the new tempo and overall vibe of the dance on the fly. We decided to combine two songs for our first dance (a slow song first, and then a more upbeat song to bring everyone onto the dance floor), and Krista and Kelvin cut the music and choreographed the dance so that the transition was seamless. Not only were we glad that we had a choreographed first dance for the wedding itself, but we enjoyed our lessons so much that they became fun date nights leading up to the wedding!
