Meal for champions

IKEA is ikea. Come for cheap furniture, stay for meatballs. I love how consistent their menu has been over the years. For all creatures of habit - it's your place!

Our next food adventure take us to IKEA Restaurant at breakfast time my experience was goog because I come almost when the breakfast finished but everything we eat is delicious for us. The place is clean and decoration is unique because they have different sections for seating even for the kids come to eat with the parents. Excellent experience hight recommend place and the best thing is the price is very cheap.

Swedish, meatball dish, no creamy sauce for the meatballs, the mashed potatoes had no salt, completely bland, and so were the peas. Terrible

Well I am extremely disappointed with Ikea's restaurant. Although the eating area was clean and well stocked the food left much to desire. The Swedish meatballs dish, which is their signature dish was missing the white creamy sauce and the raspberry jam. Instead of the Swedish meatball sauce, we were given some type of au jus sauce that was kind of salty yet bland. When I asked about the raspberry jam I was told they ran out of the big bags so I could purchase a bottle of this jam downstairs if I really wanted it. Swedish, meatball dish, no creamy sauce for the meatballs, the mashed potatoes had no salt, completely bland, and so were the peas. At almost $15 a dish this was terrible. The last time we were here was about a month ago, and they didn't even have the Swedish meatballs. They said they had run out. I chose not to write a review at that time wondering how do you run out of your signature dish, but this time I am writing a review this is not acceptable, and their service has definitely fallen from the upscale service we know them to have. I am not sure I can recommend this eatery at this time.

Free coffee or tea for IKEA Family Members, cheap breakfast, lunch, and dinner, gotta love it! Lots of seating here, and the view outside with the long floor to ceiling glass, brightens your day. The chocolate cake dessert is one of my favorites and the fresh ground beans coffee machine that makes cappuccinos is just perfect. The place is usually very clean and the restrooms are right beside the dining room.

Come hungry to IKEA and stop here before shopping!!! The Swedish meatballs are a must try! They also now have salmon balls which to me are equally delicious. If you are an IKEA family member (which is free to sign up upon entering the store) coffee and tea are complimentary. There are other options besides meatballs, like salad and wraps or a piece of broiled salmon, but I come for the meatballs always!! They offer soup and desserts as well as fountain soda's. Service is fast and friendly and prices are as you would expect from IKEA=cheap. You can sit down and eat and gather your shopping strategy before heading to the showroom on the same level floor. You can also purchase the meatballs and salmon (frozen) as well as other market items downstairs where the checkout is.

Boyyyy if you want a taste of Sweden you've come to the right place. I came for furniture, and left with a full tummy. I first walked in wanting something quick and easy so I got pizza and a hot dog for the combined price of only $2.25. What a steal! I then wanted to venture off into some more Swedish food because, you know, when in Rome right? So I got some of their world famous Swedish meatballs and boy I got to tell you, they took me off onto an adventure. The savory gravy complimented the nice and supple meatballs while the season vegetables took me to the gardens of Sweden. My experience at Ikea was top notch. Would definitely come again!

A trip to ikea isn't complete without their famous Swedish meatballs. The food is cheap, the servers are quick and give extra lindenberry sauce, and the tables are always clean and plentiful. What more can you expect from an IKEA cafeteria. PS cheesecake didn't taste like cheesecake to me but that's ok, I usually don't go for dessert but this one looked a little interesting. Until next time IKEA.

What a joke... not the first time this has happened to us. It's Friday night at 7:45pm. The place closes at 9:30pm and they are out of their veggie balls. When asked about making more (that take a whooping 13 minutes) the repeated response from the "kitchen manager" is "there is no more veggie balls". Like it's going to kill your whole production to throw a bag of frozen balls in a pan for 13minutes and bake them?? Cmon IKEA!!

Great prices but some items are lacking flavor or the main ingredient is more like a side show to a topping... the deserts are generally lovely. The shortens didn't come with the red wine sauce as advertised above the service area :\ but aren't terrible and are darn tolerable at $9. The barbeque chicken wrap needs a lot more barbeque chicken to be called anything other than a cold tortilla with cheese and a hint of barbeque chicken. The potato broccoli and cheese medallions win the day today. They are like broccoli cheddar soup but with the added joy of potato carbs! Lol

Smoked salmon wrap!

Good food, reasonably priced but you have to walk through the whole store after eating lol

Nothing like enjoying my bday weekend with friends at my fave live jazz bar in this area of Miami!…read moreWe called in on Saturday night and got a nice comfy half booth in the live music room right away. The room is so cool, staff is relaxed, cool and inviting. Tonight Ollie is onstage playing guitar, singing and taking all our favorite requests! We all sing along and have a great night of good food, good music, good drinks and great company of other live music enthusiasts! They have a fresh fish case stocked with great stuff including stone crab--The food is terrific! From my favorite raw bar starters, fish soup, sushi, whole fish, protein bowls, steak/chicken, kids choices, and the like. Menu is huge, something for everyone. The complimentary starter is fish dip and saltines. It Definitely sets the fish house mood! I love the decor--so jazzy, so mardi gras, so eclectic kitsch. It's just a relaxed fun time right on Miller Drive. Feels almost like a speakeasy! Aahhh, Miami--so chock full of these little unsung spots that you must be a local to know the secrets! All the fun is inside here. Check it out, it's all good at the Fish House. Thanks for following me, happy 2026! ~Tami in Miami

Visited this past Friday for Happy Hour. Had not been here in years…read more We have been to the one in Key Largo which is also fantastic. Nice and rustic ambiance, definitely seafood related decor. Welcomed to the table with crackers and seafood dip. I could eat a tub of the dip! Ordered two Margaritas for $6 each which were excellent in regular good size mug. Service was very good team effort. Appetizer was conch fritters, rather small, but tasty with dipping sauce. Lobster bisque on point, can eat a 5 gallon bucket of this easily. My wife had the fried shrimp with parsley potatoes. Tasty and enjoyable. I had the shrimp linguini covered in Parmesan sauce. Ate every bit of it even though I should of taken half home. Definitely recommend going for Happy Hour and save half the cost of dinner menu. Almost forgot Cuban Mojito to finish off the meal. Overall, just as good as the first time we came years ago. Go get yourself some !!!

What an experience! First, it's a fish market. You pick out…read morewhat you want to eat (and they're very helpful if you're not sure what you're looking for.) Then you tell them how you'd like it cooked. They cook it up nicely! (Warning, if you go for the fish and chips, it's a cornbread batter, not a beer batter.) Some of the best lobster. Delicious eats, attentive and friendly staff. I'd go again when in the area.

My first visit here and I sort of wish I'd read the other reviews before I came here. If so, I…read morewould have come at a time where I was hungry and for a mere five dollars had them prepare my meal for me. But that being said, I found it to be a very nice fish market. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere

This place is tucked into a nondescript strip mall west of the Miami airport, but don't let that…read morefool you. I found it while in Miami a day early before a cruise and craving ceviche--one of my favorite cuisines that I first discovered here. The price point was great, parking was free (huge plus), and the service was wonderful. I had a great glass of wine and ordered the ceviche sampler, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Each one had distinct, delicious flavors. I left fully satisfied and very happy. If you're looking for excellent ceviche in Miami, this spot is definitely worth a visit. I'd gladly come back next time I'm in town.

I review this place with mixed feelings…read more The food was great tasting, good portions, and even better pricing. The service was great and attentive - they even remade my iced tea 3 times until I was satisfied. Unfortunately, my luck ran out when I ordered a dish called 'Jalea' which is a breaded and fried mix of different seafood and fish, which for this place was largely just fish with a few calamari and muscles. This is where I think I inadvertently met my enemy - the muscles were breaded too and one of them was completely closed and wouldn't open - I remember telling my friend, fate is telling me to attempt any further to open this muscle because it might not be good. And I left it alone; unfortunately it was a for-telling sign of things to come in my future. Fate definitely warned me, but it was too late by then as it was the last piece of the muscles that I avoided while chowing down on all others. I think they might not have been fully fresh and the breading and seasoning masked their betrayal. That was dinner at 9p, and at 4a I woke up with my stomach telling me is was time play game of thrones, except the throne I was reaching for was the white throne. There I was king of the hill for the next 3-4 days. So as much as I liked the place (ambiance was standard) for taste and value, this unfortunate event overshadowed any possibility of me ever coming back to those lands. May the force be with you when visiting this place: "when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die" and I like my life, for now
