I'm glad that I made the U-turn to go back to this place. From the warm welcome, ambiance, delicious courtesy salmon dip and the service for my to-go order, I was impressed. The fish soup had chunks of grouper and it was very tasty. It is fish forward in flavor and fish chunks. I also had the conch fritters that came six to an order and they were great! This was my favorite of the two. This spot also offers live music on the weekend and they have lunch and happy hour specials that also run into the weekend. Stopped in with my husband for a quick bite. We order from this location a lot via Uber eats. To start we had the conch fritters. They come out piping hot and are huge. My husband also had a cup of the fish soup, which is exactly what he needed. He said it was delicious. For his main he had a minuta sandwich. I ended up having the shrimp your way. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The service took a little bit at the end to get us the receipt but nothing too crazy. We will definitely be back and continue to order from here. read more

I have been there for lunch 6-7 times and it has been great. Today we decided to go for dinner for first time at night. There was a table of 11 people who apparently ordered each item in the menu. Decided to try this fresh fish market. The place itself is pretty cool with the display of fish to the left and restaurant to the right. The crackers and fIsh dip they bring out was pretty good if you can get passed the stale crackers. The service was underwhelming. Unfortunately it was not the servers fault that she had to great all the tables in the restaurant and play host as well. They should really look into scheduling another person. This is a truly hidden gem! Came with my boyfriend for lunch to try their Pan con Minuta. I was immediately surprised by how spacious the interior was compared to what the outside looks like. They also have a fresh fish market inside but I noticed that most patrons were enjoying a seafood lunch here. We started with four croquetas (2 salted cod, 2 cod) that were pretty tasty and larger than most places. The only reason I don't rave about them is because the filling was a little gooey/doughy for my taste and tasted a little of flour rather than the fish. This was no matter though considering our meals. My pan con minuta came out fresh and hot for only $7.99. The bread was delicious, the vegetables fresh, and the house made sauce a perfect combo with my fish sandwich. My boyfriend got the Ceviche which was absolutely amazing, made with Corvina, and probably up there in the top ceviches I've ever tried. It wasn't your stereotypical Peruvian Ceviche but had more of a Spanish (Spain) flair with olive oil included and an assortment of refreshing herbs. Our family are now regulars at the restaurant it was recommended by one of our friends. The food is absolutely fabulous! We stopped at the restaurant after the orchid show yesterday and were very impressed with the changes and renovations. Every time we have eaten at the restaurant the seafood has been fresh. The service staff has been friendly and welcoming. Yesterday, we had the cod fish croquettes, fish soup, jumbo breaded shrimp, and arroz con leche for desert. We took some food home because it was a lot. They are now open later until 8:00pm. I highly recommend the restaurant. Be sure to stop by and experience it for yourselves. We chose 2 specials of grilled shrimp and rice ordered and a fresh hog snapper. I don't mind paying for good food despite the cost.The shrimp listed as jumbo shrimp were actually the size of krill, white rice served was old and my fried snapper died twice!! They ruined a great hog snapper by over frying. The octopus civiche was awful to say the least. Service was less than acceptable. I have a lot of places I'd rather spend my $150 +. This place was empty at lunch hour, so what does that say? Awful experience and over priced. Won't be seeing us again! read more
