This is the loaded baked potato with ribs.

This is the loaded baked potato with ribs. This was the most delicious bbq I have ever had. Super delicious and worth the wait. The potato is cooked so deliciously that it tastes like mashed potatoes. Price was $20. They do not accept credit card. Only cash, Zelle, venmo, cashapp, or Apple pay. If you are ever in Houston it's definitely worth checking out.

I do NOT get the great reviews. Brisket was a bit smoky but definitely could use more smoke flavor. It was dry and over cooked. Ribs were moist and spoiled. The skin was damn near slick with skin having a wet like texture. They had no smoke flavor and definitely weren't fresh. They tasted like they were boiled or baked and then put on the pit for a brief moment and left out to spoil. I was disappointed by that bc I saw what I thought was a smoking pit and fresh wood being added. I don't understand why you would serve old food?? Unfortunately, I can't go back to try a sandwich bc it's meat with two pieces of bread on top. It's really hard to find consistently fresh, smoky, and tender bbq. I'm a brisket head and bbq is too expensive for this hit or miss ish. Ugh! Back to hibernation I go. We took back the ribs and the cashier (older fair skinned woman with accent) responded with "It happens a lot" when we said no worries, it happens. The new ribs were fresh but damn salty af!! Lol We're wiping them off so we can eat these.

We frequently see this BBQ stand on our way to Aldi on OST. We finally had a chance to stop and try it out. We ordered two of the chopped brisket sandwiches($9.50/ea).The sandwiches are hearty, and very delicious. If you're looking for something fancy, go somewhere else. This is straight up bbq, and thats what we like. Can't wait to try the ribs. It is cash only, and we only had a $20. Definitely will be going back. Very friendly service. BBQ smells so good!

The Works (every type of meat) plate. Every single meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Nothing was tough.

The owner was amazing and so very nice as we showed up a bit before opening. We ordered The Works (every type of meat) plate. Every single meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Nothing was tough.

Ribs, sausage, potato salad, boudin, baked beans, and the fixins

Best BBQ HANDS DOWN! Aside from Grandpas backyard this taste is unbelievable Sausage is OBVIOUSLY homemade and literally melts in your mouth BBQ sauce has PERFECT balance of sweet, smoky, and spicy Potato salad is homemade and baked beans are so good. The flavors from all the meats and ingredients of the sides all blend together into a symphony in your mouth and dance in your tongue Ok - then I tried the Boudin - AMAZING!! I have never had smoked to perfection spicy boudin that made me think about backwoods Louisiana but this does. I wouldn't say traditional because I have only seen boudin that you pick out of the casing with a fork. I ate the whole darn thing! Five minutes later it's still dancing with spicy music to my mouth. Ike's is doin it right! Don't let the location scare you. These are some of the nicest people that serve the awesome bbq with a sweet smile!

Make it an entree. :: And of course, their oysters. I'm an oyster happy hour girlie! They have indoor and outdoor seating, a great cocktail list--they've got frozen margs and frozen sidecar.

My friend grabbed the Kulture Club Chicken, and I went for the Fried Catfish and Grits. Our waitress, Savannah (pretty sure that was her name), was a gem. She didn't just take our order; she guided us. She told my friend the club had goat cheese and broke down exactly why she probably wouldn't like it if she wasn't into blue cheese. Then she looked at me -- pescatarian, hungry -- and said, "Add the shrimp and get the crab sauce on top." Best decision I made all day. The plate didn't stand a chance. I would've taken an "after" photo, but I cleaned my plate. The staff were also super helpful with parking validation and making sure we were set. Want to start by saying I loved the atmosphere. Loved being able to sit at a bar, loved the music, and service was superb. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Catfish was pretty good. It had the perfect crunch and a plentiful portion so no complaints. Sides were good but not something I'd rave about. The étouffée was pretty solid but the Brussels could've been better. Maybe seasoning them a little more, cutting them in halves, and charring them would've done the job. Peach cobbler was so yummy. I loveeeee how they have offer for preferences with the peach cobbler (more crust, more filling, or neutral) because I personally love more crust. Kool aid was good but could stand to be just a tad bit less sweet with more flavor. All in all if you have a catfish craving and want good vibes and service I'd 1000% endorse this spot.

I got the catfish plate with red beans, dirty rice and an extra side of greens. The fish was great. Big pieces, well seasoned, fried perfectly - 9/10. the dirty rice was don well too - 7/10. The red beans were ok, nothing special, but not bad either - 6/10. The GREEENS tho.... 1/10. NOPE - never again. Glory canned greens with a whisper of a thought of seasoning and half a gallon of pepper sauce. Of them all, I really liked the hot chilli biscuits, oxtail omelette, french toast and fried green tomatoes. The hot chilli biscuits were sized more like mini pancakes. The croissant French toast was delicious and sweet enough to eat without syrup, which is how I had it. I would get the oxtail omelette or the croissant French toast myself, if I come back. Apparently this place prefers you make reservations. Food was good but lacking for the price point we paid. I get it, there's costs associated with running a restaurant. But it was lackluster. Croissant French toast tasted like pan toasted croissant with a dust of powdered sugar. Oxtail omelette needed more cheese and more than 3 strands of pickled onion to give it balance and dimension. People come to restaurants to have a good experience but it was just strange vibes tbh with the staff complaining and venting to each other. Don't do it in front of the customers.... It's not a good look. Also not cool how the server/bartender preselected for us what percentage for us to tip on the tablet. Anchoring like that's not going to make us want to give you any bigger of a tip. Just feels like they see you as a walking moneybag. Instead, it is about the way we were treated by the hospitality manager, Kryssalyn Bayne. Our party consisted of five people, including a 97-year-old senior citizen. When we arrived, four of the five members of our party were present, and there were no guests waiting to be seated. However, Ms. Bayne was focused solely on the fact that one member of our party had not yet arrived. She informed us that other guests had been seated because they had called ahead, although this option had never been communicated to us during any of our previous visits. What was most concerning was not the seating policy itself, but the manner in which we were treated. Ms. Bayne's demeanor was loud, confrontational, and, in our opinion, disrespectful. We had all just come from church and were simply trying to understand the restaurant's policy. When I politely suggested that she lower her voice, she responded by accusing me of speaking disrespectfully to her staff, despite the fact that I had not spoken to anyone other than her. Grace's has always been known for its hospitality, which made this experience especially disappointing. I believe the front-of-house staff, and particularly those in leadership positions, would benefit from additional training in customer service, de-escalation, and professional communication. Every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this interaction overshadowed what should have been a pleasant meal and family gathering. We were seated at Table 14 & served by Mr Lewis who was a breath of fresh air. The food was good despite the entry.
