Great spot for fun craft cocktails. Seems to be drawing a insta crowd at the moment - but you can sit at the bar and visit with the bartenders to find the perfect cocktail. They were really helpful and we were able to try a couple of different cocktails. They have a very extensive bar and should be able to make your favorite traditional cocktail as well as their speciality cocktails. read more

Great new spot in the Heights. Excellent craft cocktails and tasty bites. We tried several different cocktails - each elevated quality with attention to detail. This place is very cute! I absolutely loved the decor. They also had great drink presentations and the staff was nice. Those are the only good qualities about this place. When we walked, there was a horrible sewage smell. We ignored it since we've been wanting to try this place. The first 2 drinks we ordered were good, but we were greatly disappointed when we received the viet-Irish coffee. It was such a small amount for $16 with no indication of the size. It was so tiny for a coffee and not worth it. Especially since it's not even espresso. We also tried the tetelas for a snack, and they had no flavor. It was very loud and crammed inside, music was blasting could barely have a conversation without yelling. Ambience felt like a poorly done college pop up bar. The Shroom pasta has so much potential but I was starving after fasting for 24 hours so I ate it. The pasta was undercooked. Shrimp way too small and I couldn't identify that there was $12 worth of lobster. So $50 was terrible. I couldn't understand...is this a bar or restaurant? I searched open restaurants and it came up but their is insanely small. There's plenty of alcohol though and the bartenders were very personable with the ppl at the bar. It's cute in there too. I will try to make this review as detailed as possible but, short and sweet. If you are a POC steer clear of this place entirely, if you support and love POC steer clear as well. While celebrating a late Galentine's day with two of my closest gf's we encountered a very hostile individual working here. I arrived first and immediately felt the hostility with the greeting, since this was our first time there I asked where we could sit, I was told anywhere. I chose a table where there was enough space for my group and also a good enough size with a booth (the only one). Once settled the same hostile server yells from across the bar that I could not sit there as the table was reserved for larger party's of 6 or more (keep in mind at this point he didn't even ask how many were in my party) I gathered my things and moved as requested without hesitation. The rest of my party arrives and we opted to sit at the bar as it was more room. While at the bar this same server was pushy, condescending and rushing and pressuring my friends to place an order. While I was already settled and had started a tab they were just arriving and it was a warm welcome either. As the evening went on the snarky remarks were thrown our direction all evening and all other patrons were being treated much more warm and welcomed. Once it became time to close our tabs we did so and noticed a group of people ( three total) walk in and were greeted with joy and they went and sat in the 6+ section with no response from the discriminatory server. Needless to say there was obviously an issue with us and our skin color and this place. Sadly, because the food was good along with the drinks but I'll never return. read more

The manger was rude and not helpful. As a customer you would expect speaking with management to would solve a problem not create one. The server was more understanding than the manager although he was the person who made the mistake. Going into the service it was actually not good at all and when I asked why they didn't come to our table often they said because they really only serve the bar area as if they had not come to take our order from the beginning. All togther this experience was a 2/5 and I will never go back. At a pint I actually told my friend that they may be biased to African American people because it really seemed like every table but ours was receiving good service. As I know servers live off of mostly tips so we still left a %20 tip. read more

Visited IKTO with friends and had a disappointing experience. The waitress took my friend and I's initial orders but then walked away for 10 minutes before taking my other friend's order. After, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks, and when it finally arrived, my drink didn't taste good. I realized it was the straw that was either not washed properly or made the drink taste weird. My husband and I are loyal customers to KA sushi. We absolutely LOVE their drink menu in which is all made from starch ingredients. Of course and their food menu too, lol! The staff has always been so welcoming of us so when the manager at KA told us about their new bar down the street we knew one day we would have to check it out. That one day was last night and we absolutely loved IKTO. The ambiance is really pretty: very girly, definitely a girls night out vibe or even a cute little date night. The drinks were good! The michelada was also great in which the ingredients were made from scratch as well! My husband and I appreciate bars and restaurants who create their own menu, drinks and ingredients. In which this is why places like KA & IKTO are so very unique. The staff was just as great as KA, the owner came around and recognized us from KA. Greeted us and chatted with us. Waitress didn't acknowledge for 10-15 min. Only came over when we tried to order at bar, to scold us. Let her know trying to have a drink (or two) before a dinner reservation nearby. Took 30 min for first drinks to arrive. One of party (of just 4) never received drink before had to leave so told not to bother. Waitress didn't even apologize. Said she took missing drink off bill but total was off even including mandatory 20% gratuity. Refused itemized bill, saying "only can get printout after tab is paid." Problem with IKTO's math: $9 sales tax on $49 is nearly double the actual COH tax rate of 8.25%. Wish I really did know the owner as not even neighborhood location and intriguing food & drink menus may be able to offset subpar service. read more
