    Morning Dew

My fiancée made reservations for 9:45 and we arrived around 9:40, unfortunately we had to wait outside in the freezing cold to be let on the elevator until our table was available. When we were let upstairs we were greeted by the hostess who offered us a mango Jell-O shots. When we were seated we were impressed with how cute the place is but very small and intimate. I ordered the Morning Dew which is a mezcal cocktail and a spicy margarita. Both drinks were ok. I prefer a stronger drink and both were not very strong. The service was good and both waitresses were attentive.

Gorgeous bar, great drinks, and great service. However, the music is too loud and food was a bit hit or miss. Favorite drinks were the Milky Way and the Cosmos. Canchanchara was also pretty good. Cocktails were overall very solid. For food, our favorites were the oysters, falafel, and the black truffle croque monsieur. The petite lobster rolls and wagyu katsu rolls were only ok. The worst was the wagyu beef tartare which tasted rancid - we had to send it back. We also ordered all three of the desserts - my favorite was the post oak campfire which was like a variation of a smore. The other two desserts were beautiful but tasted only ok. Would absolutely come back for the drinks, wouldn't go out of my way for the food.

Drifting into the upscale orbit of crafted cocktails at Moon was a stellar experience. The place does offer a short list of food selections, but feel as of now, their specialty is themed named cocktails. Fairly new and located off Post Oak on the second floor, the bar is a hidden gem. Reservations were made to ensure seating and availability. Upon arriving the concierge checks if you have a reservation and takes you on the elevator to the 2nd floor. Once there, the glossy emerald doors welcome you in to an elegant and upscale space. Service: 5/5 The waitress and bartender stopped in to greet us. And they were friendly, attentive and made sure we had water the whole time we were there. Food: 3/5 We had the Wagyu Cheeseburger Sliders - gruyere cheese, tomato, lettuce, brioche bun (and what seemed like a butter pickle) serviced with a handful of fries. For the cost of two sliders ($25) but of course since it's wagyu, you're paying for that. But it lacked flavor, the butter pickle made it taste odd. Wasn't a fan of it and cost was steep. Didn't try any of the other foods, but they have a handful selection of bites. Drinks: 5/5 Milky Way - (the top favorite) Rum, Ube Coconut Rum float, Mango, Vietnamese curry. This was a smooth and flavorful cocktail. Would've stuck to it, but wanted to give other cocktails a try. Lunar Quarter - Gin, Campari, Cocchi Americano rosa, white chocolate astronaut. This had a nice presentation with the pour and astronaut laying on the cube made it feel playful. Think of it as a Negroni, had a bite to it. Cosmos - vodka, cranberry, grapefruit and coconut water sphere. Cosmo with a show, it was good, solid if you want a good cosmo. Espresso Martini - I got to sample this one from a friend and really enjoyed that it was smooth and had all the right flavors in 3 ingredients. Ambiance: 5/5 The place has an opulent and very upscale feel to it. Even with it being elegant, it feels cozy and welcoming because the staff help make it inviting. Dress code is business casual though I did see some people in casual clothes. I will return to try some additional drinks and maybe some food. I read a review where it indicated they got a welcome bite, not sure how that works, but we didn't get anything upon arrival. Still Moon is a nice elegant spot for solo, date or friends hangout.

Truly a great night out. Located above Tavola is this very nice speakeasy. Upon arrival there's valet ($5) to take your car and a doorman to confirm your reservation and let you up. After exiting the elevator you are greeted by a host that also offered a free Jell-O shot before entry. The aesthetic is very nice with dim lighting and smooth music to set the mood. We ordered 2 drinks each and desert($88). This is a new goto on my list for a secret intimate venue.

Maybe it's the velvet walls? Maybe it's the moody atmosphere? Maybe it's the greeting downstairs like you're a part of a special concierge and then the elevator ride up that makes it magical- still not sure. It's like stepping into old Hollywood glamour. Drinks are expensive, but the presentation was nice. Drinks were not that strong, but we did go early. Think small, intimate cocktail bar for you and your concierge group ;)

This place is beautiful but small. It was a bit hard to find so look for tavola valet and beside it is an elevator. Take the elevator and you'll find the bar. The bartender were fantastic creating fun drinks and even on the menu. I believe I had the morning dew which was delicious!

This spot blew me away! The vibe is upscale but still cozy, and the service was amazing from start to finish. the Caviar and Oysters were super fresh. The Yellowfin Tuna was delicious,Black Truffle Croque Monsieur -- If you love truffle, order it!!!! Cocktails was amazing, very unique presentation. Perfect spot for a date night or special occasion. I'll definitely be back!

Bar moon is a new favorite of mine! The atmosphere is stunning--elevated but still warm and welcoming. I tried both the dirty martini and the espresso martini, and they were perfect. The food was just as impressive. The Black Truffle Croque Monsieur was unbelievably good. The seafood platter was fresh and generous, and the Pommes Dauphines were another favorite. Every dish felt thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. I can't wait to go back!

Such a cute place with an amazing vibe! It's nice and cozy and I would definitely be back for their mini falafel. Alex at the front is super hospitable and made the experience overall a 10/10.

    Such a pretty environment

Bar Moon checks all the boxes! When you first arrive, you're given a welcome bite (mine was a rum gelatin ube coconut bite) and the hostess comes immediately to bring you up and seat you. The specialty cocktails are a must, specifically the Cosmos and On Stranger Tides. There was no complaints on the food, but a personal favorite was the Pommes Dauphines and Black Truffle Croque Monsieur. From arrival, to presentations, to drinks and food, Bar Moon is a 10/10!

What an unbelievably beautiful bar. Maybe the single nicest bar in the Houston area looks-wise. Drinks are very very good and service is impeccable!! Will definitely repeat

I ate at Norigami Tuesday night and it was great as were the cocktails served up at the nextdoor bar called Hidden Bar. On Tuesday, I tried the Thai Chili Ginger Margarita ($13) and it was great, complete with a hunk of candied ginger which I "gingerly" consumed throughout my drink experience...see what I did there? Next, I had the Three Dots and a Daiquiri ($13) with Rum, Lime, Velvet Falernum, All Spice and Pineapple and it was very similar to one of my favorite tiki drinks, the Three Dots and a Dash, complete with 3 luxardo cherries. To finish, I had the absolutely incredible Golden Laurel ($16) with Gin, Italicus Bergamot, House Greek Botanical Bitters and Sea Salt. It is equally beautiful served with a clear bay leaf and delicious. Last night, I was guided by the friendly bartender to try the Et Tu Banana" ($15) with Banana Bourbon, Spiced Pear, Creme de Banane, Campari and Citric Acid. I was a little worried about the cocktail being overly banana-y but it wasn't at all. It was a fantastic drink. For my last call, he recommended the Left Hand ($13) with Bourbon, Campari, Sweet Vermouth and Chocolate Bitters. Again, fantastic. Both nights, the bartenders and drinks were fantastic. Ambiance is nice with moody lighting. They even have a bidet toilet seat in the bathroom! Hidden Bar is a "hidden" gem, for sure. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I ordered the Side to the Sun Rises (gin, yuzu, mint, cucumber) which was light, refreshing, and well balanced. I would recommend it if you enjoy gin-based cocktails with a slightly fruity flavor. Overall, a fun spot with great vibes and definitely worth checking out!

As you walk in, you'll be greeted by the 70's/80's/90's bar music of rock/disco and chessboard floor pattern. Then you get your drink order from one of the many pleasant bartenders (or Louie) and sit either inside or outside and think to yourself you're the luckiest person in the world. So they specialize in three things: cocktails/liquors, cigars, and patio seating. When you combine all three of those, it's the perfect bar. Cocktails such as ol fashions and cape cods are plentiful here. I also appreciate they do a new york sour here which is an underrated cocktail. Cigars are sold here too and they have cutters and plenty of torch lighters to spark them up. Outside on their patio deck has plenty of seating with some of those heaters in case you houstonians can't handle the cold. Only gripe is I wish they had a larger wine selection as they only have bordeuax or a red blend. Not sure if they serve white wines either. But there's wine bars for that. You're here for the hard stuff or a quick beer, maybe a cigar, and definitely a peace of mind. That's what keeps me coming back!

For the past 2 years (Oct '24 and '25), I've visited Cursed Cauldron pop-up at Botonica for their Bewitched Burlesque performance. The ticket price is approachable, and the space is adorably decorated. The performers are all fun and really get into the themes - no 2 performances are the same, either, because they feature different artists each week. There is a special drink menu for the pop-up... they are quite expensive at $16 per cocktail, but they are tasty & they do offer a happy hour until 6pm on weekdays. There are some snacks you can buy at the bar, but I wouldn't recommend having dinner there. I wish they had more witchcraft classes, because the Yule Log class I attended in 2023 was the besssst but I'll continue visiting their pop-ups, regardless. Very festive and lots of fun - especially for the witchy girlies out there!
