We enlisted Rummy Dechner to design our ADU and JADU, situated in the right corner of our lot. The spacious area on the right side of our house can potentially serve as a driveway for the ADU, even though there's no curb cut currently. This space will function as a private walkway connecting the main house to the ADU and JADU. Rummy had an ingenious suggestion: create a workshop at the front, adjacent to the JADU and under the ADU. This forward-thinking approach allows us to plan for the future. When the time comes, we can easily add a new curb cut and transform the workshop area into a garage with an extended driveway for additional guest parking.
